41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MOJO] Mojocoin - Pure PoS | update pending | Rokos OS | IoT | Tor on: May 24, 2016, 06:37:20 PM
Is there a coin swap happening on C-cex too or we have to transfer all our coins on Livecoin?

Exactly why I stopped by here. If you have coins on c-cex will they handle the coin swap, and will I need to upgrade my ROKOS wallet?

Be calm the dev will be here shortly
Totally calm,  bought a bunch more at the cheap price. Just trying to figure out how to proceed. Thanks Smiley

Anyone know if ROKOS users will be able to update directly from the ROKOS repository. I just set up my ROKOS wallet last night and was planning on starting to stake today. Thought I'd stop by here to see what was going on before I bought more, or HODL what I have to watch price. Should I even start staking or should I wait till after the 5th and redo my wallet?
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COEXIST coin - COXST - POW/POS- The fight to help the less fortunate on: April 28, 2016, 08:10:17 PM

I just now finished an interview for bitcoindood.com  Im not sure when he is going to post it. When he does I will be posting it everywhere. Emailing it everywhere. I hope I get some help with that too. Check out his site and catch up on some interviews and his news page is pretty cool. I am a genuine fan of his for a long time on twitter

Interview up, thanks for the interview. Much appreciated.

can you please explain me more about this what is new progress is going on behind the scene
because it's price is already hit 1 stas
The nice thing about a 1 satoshi coin is if the price even goes up 1 satoshi to 2 satoshi you've doubled your satoshi. Nice price to gamble at. Looking forward to see what happens with this coin I bought a lot at 1 sat.

PoSV would be great. A lot of people like staking, could help increase volume and marketcap. I'd love to stake some of these.

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~ Poker Site ~ Anon Web Wallet ~Many Games ~5% PoS on: January 20, 2015, 12:54:25 AM
Since alpha testing is underway could someone please post some screenshots of the upcoming Web wallet? I want to see it!!  Smiley

Also, any chance of a "Hypervault" option where a larger balance could be moved into a wallet where additional verifications (maybe a second email address 2FA) are needed before moving funds out, and maybe a time delay before the withdrawal? I think providing this option of more permanent storage would encourage users to hold and get more Hyper over time. we could also point them to the SimpleHyper paper wallet creator as that seems to work pretty well  Cheesy  Grin

The web wallet will have 2FA already Wink But I do like the idea of a Hypervault.

Also in regards to the previous question posted about the private key that would be good if it was like blockchain.info in that regard. Meowball who is working on the web wallet would know for sure if you can access your private keys. I would like that if it was possible.

My answers to the questions are below:

Like HYPERfuture has said, 2FA will be an option available for people to use for withdrawals and/or logins. Users can set settings to enable 2FA and other security settings such as imposing withdrawal limits. I could add time delays as an option as well. Good suggestion! Not sure what the hypervault will be like then. Could you give more info about what you are thinking? A hypervault makes me think of an offline wallet that http://simplehyper.info already provides.

Important differences between the web wallet and blockchain.info:

- blockchain.info can't stake your coins (which can't stake in the first place b/c they're BTC's). The hypergg web wallet guarantees stakes that are split evenly among the users collectively once a day. This means that someone with 0.0001 HYPER earns daily stake that is proportional to how much he/she is contributing to the network. The same applies for someone with 100,000 HYPER. Thus, everyone earns guaranteed stakes that compounds daily.

- blockchain.info does not obfuscate your sending transactions or withdrawals. The hypergg web wallet sends funds on your behalf to protect your identity. Someone on the blockchain could not see who and when you send your HYPER. On the other hand, blockchain.info is much like the simplehyper paper wallet generator. It is merely a client-side wallet with a blockchain explorer.

- The hyper web wallet user does not exactly own any addresses in the traditional sense. The only address that is associated with the user is the deposit address which can be changed at any time by the user, but it is only used for deposit purposes to move outside HYPER into the web wallet infrastructure. Once inside the infrastructure, the HYPER that you choose to send from your account is not using your own address. It is using what's available in the infrastructure. This promotes anonymity and future optimizations regarding choosing the lowest aged inputs automatically. Users withdraw their funds via inputs that can span multiple seamingly random addresses.

- Because of the additional benefits and differences between what is being offered with the web wallet and a service like blockchain.info, a user can't really request for their private key. Another benefit for web wallet users is that transactions between other web wallet users incur 0 transaction fees!

Does the above explanations make sense? I hope that clears things up!  Wink

I will be sending invites to testers/volunteers of ppl that have expressed interest for the alpha wallet throughout the the week!
I popped on here today to specifically find out about this. If you need another tester I would love to try out this wallet. Go HYPER !
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: January 15, 2015, 03:13:02 AM
Hey lots of comments, thanks everyone for the support and encouragement. As for the pegging what some of the other community members said was correct. The new model we are looking at is more democratic allowing voting on deflation and inflation rates from the fork. The fork itself will cause X% to become reserve. Perhaps anywhere above 90%. From there you set either inflation from reserve to liquid or deflation from liquid to reserve. So that will allow a much more dynamic market where price and supply can match consumer demand.

It seems that an investor would want to see the price grow and the way to do that is with deflation. Then if the price gets too high we vote for inflation. This also means its much less centralized. NuBits totally is centralized relying on only one exchange primarily and custodial wallets. We can let the wild forces of nature give the price a lot more play for traders and at the same time we can deflate the supply so price can match demand. This makes for some really interesting arbitrage. Additionally, it protects the coin from having a central head or liability. Voting is a good way to put the power in the hands of the users. I might want to take a majority vote from the voting address itself in the beginning to avoid market manipulation(making a consistent deflation). And eliminate that majority after we hit that first target.

So even 1 cent is a very good target for the next 4-5 months. If we hit that level, and can continue to deflate we can grow gradually a few percent at a time.

But anyways, we arent there yet. The topic of the next month will be linux/mac/windows 8 and markets. One of the troubleshooting i did today was with windows 8 and apparently i might need a specific build or make a few changes to our build. Also, for some windows 7 users, libeay32.dll isnt sufficient and they would need to install openssl. I'm going to consider how to make that more user friendly.

Just wanted to drop a line and say thanks for not abandoning this project. I bought a bunch of this coin ICO, and haven't sold a single one I did however stop trading on BTER and removed all coins from that exchange. I invested partly in your reputation and I can see by reading through this thread that wasn't a mistake. Sorry the coin got off to such a rocky start, thanks for your hard work and looking forward to the future of this coin. Keep up the great work !
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! KGW exploit FIXED 4/3/2014 on: January 10, 2015, 11:23:59 PM
I think that all are waiting for cryptsy...

So I ask in Cryptsy chat what's going on with the mooncoin wallet and when is it coming back online? Someone there says that the devs have left the coin so they guess never. In the meantime the price is going up on the Cryptsy exchange. Can anyone tell me what is actually going on. The coin seems to be trading on all exchanges like bleutrade and allcrypt with no problems, yet cryptsy claims wallet issues. Can anyone enlighten me on all this ? Are there still devs for the coin ?

First of all, trollboxes on any exchange are one of the worst sources of information you can have.

Second: who told that?

Third, Cryptsy seems to be the biggest problem with what is happening with Mooncoin at the moment, as they obviously don't want to cooperate with peme, who is Mooncoin's new dev. Mooncoin's legendary original creator deaconboogie unfortunately left the ship long ago. See here for more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg9456299#msg9456299.
There has been a huge theft of many Mooncoins recently and it has to be found out how this was possible, as well as how to return the coins to their rightful owners. A big part of the problem is Cryptsy at the moment, because they don't communicate with the right people (peme). Titan, the dev of Luckycoin is involved in the investigations, but since it is a really difficult task, we all will have to be patient, until they have solid results.

If you'd like to know more, just check out the recent posts in this thread - or ask peme. He tried to get in contact with Cryptsy numerous times regarding the theft, but they don't answer, respectively seem to ignore his role as the new dev, which is slowing down the investigation and finding a solution significantly.
Thank you so much for your answer. As far as who told me that it was just some troll in the troll box. It lit up the whole troll box though and everyone started arguing about what is going on, that's why I decided to post my question here.  Thanks again for the answers, I have a bunch of moon I'm going to continue to hold and hope for the best. I can always trade on bleutrade with no problem till cryptsy gets their house in order.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][GEMS]| SOCIAL MESSAGING APP THAT REWARDS ITS USERS |Gems public sale| on: November 20, 2014, 04:12:21 PM
I'm suspicious of this early bird sale. I was logged onto site but got no invite which was planned for 18th start. But more I wonder if this is classic Dev buy secretly big into the crowdsale along with buddies.
I'm suspicious of all ICO's but I think this is a really fascinating project. Love the idea of a kind of profit sharing social media platform for the users. Thanks to cryptocurrency in general this is now possible. If this works.... pure brilliance !
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: November 16, 2014, 02:32:00 AM
BT is seriously just a FUD factory at this point, if you're smart you wont believe any of the bs. Shut up and sell me your coins below ICO, or shut up and hold fast.
Not only that, I can't believe a forum can have that much influence over a coins health. Very unhealthy !
