41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Help with choosing a UPS / power conditioning setup for 4xAvalon V1 machines? on: February 18, 2013, 06:14:34 AM
the units are 620W max, I mean the power supply shipped it's a 650 Antec, so buy UPS accordingly.

Hold on there, so if we want to expand to 4 bays we won't be able to use the stock PSU? That kind of makes the "hidden feature" pointless, doesn't it? Please forgive me if this has been addressed.

I'd like to know if a 650W was used for BF's unit. If so, great, nevermind. If not, OMGWTFBBQ.

If you haven't ignored at least 50 'people' you aren't doing it right.

What's the "sort by" on the OP image? Why are the dates out of order?

How are those DHL tracking numbers coming along?

I think that is incredibly insightful that you wrote

"this user is currently ignored" creativex.

I am feeling a bit ignored. thanks so much for adding to the conversation.

So what is the benefit of upgrading right now? I understand your benefit of having people trust you and upgrade so that you can pay them less than you would have to otherwise. I assumed that you would be acting in good faith and have no lag time during the upgrade process.

caveat emptor

here's your email, no mentions of "please note".

Obviously, I have no recourse, but I do not feel that I'm being treated fairly.

Hello fellow Gigaminers,

I know that it has been a long road moving past the closure of GLBSE and I want to thank you again for working through this process with me.

I am also very excited to announce that the upgrade path for the new Teramining contract is live. With the release of the upgrade process, I have also extended the contract to 9 months which is a 50% increase over the originally proposed length of the contract.

To upgrade, login to your account at the link below.

https://virtualprocessingsolutions.com/login

Find the big orange button that says "Upgrade to Teramining!" and you'll be on your way. Please also read through the contract so that you have a complete understanding of what the upgrade entails.

I am super excited for the ASIC revolution to get started and it is my hope that you will join me in this next evolution of mining.

Have a great weekend,
James

is it CNY related at this point? Anyone have luck with DHL? Nothing here.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 05, 2013, 06:16:05 PM
the number of pages on this thread is obnoxious! OP, why don't you create a new "2013" thread?
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 05, 2013, 04:48:35 PM
This could lead to stability instead of a panic. Manipulators should be proud.

I thought someone childish would find their way here. Locking the thread.
53  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS BFL ASIC SINGLE 60GH/s - Ordered June 23rd on: February 05, 2013, 04:12:00 AM
Do you have it physically in hand?

It hasn't been released yet, set to ship on the 18th, we should see another update some time tonight.

Thanks for your interest, transaction pending.

I meant generic.

Here's my critical review.

IMAGES:

Some images look cheap and undermine the focused/elegant web design. here are links.
https://bitmillions.com/assets/images/img1.png
https://bitmillions.com/assets/images/icon_2.png
https://bitmillions.com/assets/images/icon_3.png

here's another on the verification popup
https://bitmillions.com/assets/images/warrenty.png
first, warranty, not warrenty.

second, it makes it look like a scam to have this meaningless phrase on a gold sticker. The information on the page is enough.

One more thing to look out for... all stock photos of people smiling happy/surprised people. says either cheap or scam to me.

FEATURE REQUEST:

When a ticket page is up, it should auto refresh every minute or so. By hovering on the draw# for each entry in a ticket, display the winning numbers. Some people like to see that they were, "oh, just one off! oh man!".

Show the net amount someone will win. Seeing one value and getting less than that on the transfer is disappointing.

Increase the pay amount of the match 1 to .1 or better yet .10000777 - seeing a positive return has a strong psychological effect.

SUMMARY:

I imagine this can be something similar to keno. An activity for a group of friends at a restaurant or even climbing a flipping mountain, lol.

It has a nice peek behind the curtain that keno doesn't provide.

I'm happy to clarify anything with a phone call. Great Job, looking forward to the public release!

I'm unclear about how to reclaim "free plays pending". I'm up about 5.5BTC, thanks guys!
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for 100 Beta Testers to Try BitMillions.com - Get ฿ 1 to play for FREE! on: February 04, 2013, 10:27:33 PM
What if someone like a pool owner decides to hold on to a solved block for a few seconds while they purchase a ticket?
58  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for 100 Beta Testers to Try BitMillions.com - Get ฿ 1 to play for FREE! on: February 04, 2013, 08:55:05 PM
I imagine if this takes off the jackpot will grow to an astronomical size and be big news when it finally hits.

Some will figure out pretty quickly that 2 numbers hitting is better than even money right now. I hope it takes a while longer for everyone to catch on so I can finish my free plays. Cheesy

Bump.
60  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Someone just ordered 8 BFL FPGA singles under my name... on: February 03, 2013, 05:23:05 AM
I received an email from BFL at about 7PM PST this evening and the link was http://localhost/butterflylabs.com/customer/account/

I'm assuming BFL had a misfire on the customer portal they've been working on.

the email is unique to BFL correspondence, so its doubtful that avalon is responsible.
