41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 26, 2014, 08:34:56 PM
I bought HYP at 2k sat when BTC was $600+ post fork. I then continued to put in well over 10 BTC into HYP at higher sat price levels than that. I did the numbers a few days ago and HYP was like $0.012+ a coin post fork, and is like only roughly $0.017 several months later. Hardly massive growth at all.

Did you want to check your numbers again or should i go straight to posting screenshots making you look stupid?

Hint: the last time BTC was $600 was end of July. The first time HYP hit 2k sat was mid September.

You HYP bagholders are another breed entirely.

I watch TEKs & wanted to buy. waited & waited for price coming down. Then price crash and i think i should buy. Then look at thread & lot of problems with wallet and biomek the dev did not fix. I have hypcoin now instead. Devs always fix problem  Undecided

You think scam ---- i think good.

The technology side is good; the wallet is excellent.

It's the initial distribution and deception that make this a scam. A shame, really.

Two things, here, at Hypnotique.

One, my name is Biomech. It's an acronym from a long time ago for Biological Systems Maintenance Technician. It's come to mean a great deal more to me, to the point that it's my intent to make it my legal name.

Two, and you're not the first to make this mistake, I'm not the developer of TEK. I'm not even officially on the team. I am an avid supporter, I am friendly with the dev, and I do help out when I can. The same can be said of HyperStake. In neither case do I have any official involvement, but I do support it.

As for the accusations of malfeasance, I've known Presstab for quite a while. He's young, talented, eager, and sometimes temperamental. He's also pretty damned honest and always has been willing to help me when I hit a wall, especially with programming. Anyone following TRK was aware that he was planning to fork it and use the PRE EXISTING COINBASE as his initial distribution. We also knew he held a lot of TRK. To the best of my knowledge, the many TRK holder from before the fork who have NOT gone on to make a HYP wallet can still do so. (presstab can correct me if I'm wrong on that). I hold just shy of 6000 HYP, and am completely happy with where it has gone. I would have been happy with 1K satoshis. This was always an experiment, and Presstab has been excellent at implementing features that the user base has asked for. That so far the experiment has been vastly more successful than any of us envisioned does not make it a scam. Had it held to the postulates that most of us in at launch had discussed, by the time it made as much noise as it is now, Press would probably still be the number one holder, but it would be pretty even for the top 100 or so. Things moved fast. Not always a good thing, but there it is.

Biomech,

Thanks for posting. I should say first that I know nothing of TEK or its dev team. So while i'm sure i've made many mistakes in life, i can say with certainty that mistaking you for one of the devs hasn't been one of them  Cheesy

I'll stand by my post you've quoted above, the wallet is excellent. Coin control? Masterful... I don't doubt the many hours of work that went into it.

That said, your admission that there was talk of a fork in the TRK thread weeks ahead of time really doesn't help your argument. If the scam wasn't intentional, why not announce the HYP fork 2 weeks in advance? 1 week? 5 days? 3 days? No? How about 1 single day? Not even.

Dude, just buy HYP or don't buy HYP. I like trolling as much as the next idiot, but what pleasure center are you tickling in your brain right now?

But I know you're addicted to trolling like meth, so you'll just continue posting and since I've subscribed to this thread, I my spout some bullshit too every now and then Smiley

I was responding to Biomech. I'm actually tired of posting in this thread, I wish David or presstab would take me up on the offer to relinquish control of this account here.

Also, I forgot to mention the editing of the fork date out of the present day ANN in my previous reply, which goes towards the deception.

Looks like someone's been busy staking their 900,000+ HYP fraudulent pre-mine and made it past the 1,000,000 HYP mark Wink

Congratulations, David

And via PM from David:
Hi presstab,

We need to announce how long will be the grace period (time between publishing wallet and hardfork).

No grace.
What! I strongly suggest against that. Time zone, people having a life. Give at least one day.

You had no issues posting the PM's here to appease the "fake troll accounts", but confirming the legitimacy of them is somehow different?

By the way, my offer to relinquish control of this account still stands. Too bad those PM's don't exist.

I WANTED HYP NOW!!!!

Spoken like a true professional!

... interesting : Spoetnik and Hypnotique are never both online at the same time here  Roll Eyes

Too bad you have ZERO credibility
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 25, 2014, 05:47:49 PM
David, presstab.. have you decided which moderator or trusted community member will be verifying the existence of the PM's you posted?

If the PM's are confirmed legitimate, I will relinquish control of this Hypnotique account to the mod/community member.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperClown SCAM on: October 25, 2014, 02:54:17 PM

PS:
I just got yet another PM from presstab asking me why i hate HYP coin and saying it was a good coin.
so i guess he's too busy sending all us "Haters" pm's vs posting the coins specs on his ANN topic or other info like the TruckCoin info on the ANN topic first post.

i had already said for 10th time on chat today i don't hate it or love it.. facts are facts .
feelings have nothing to do with it.. "it" being the truth !

Oh and no matter how hard i tried or who i asked no one could tell me the total coin supply LOL
I still don't know !

Thank you for your contributions to this thread. Sounds like presstab is trying to do as much damage control as possible. Maybe one of the unread pm's from him is asking you to escrow for the challenge issued by EyesWideOpenCheesy

Also, as of a few minutes ago: "moneysupply" : 31,484,923.02263500
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 25, 2014, 12:52:59 PM
ok, I will break my words and reply to you Hypnotique :

I won't hide that I like to do a little bit of day-trading : jumping from coins to coins, depending on what's trending.
I usually don't know the coins specs or read the bct thread at all when i take a position. I only look at numbers, volume, etc...
The trollbox is and can be a useful tool to help a day-trader to gain his desired %profit.
Do I teach you something here?

it doesn't change that fact that  because of this thread, i've got more interested in this coin and didn't sold at all what i had.
I even increased my holdings.

I'll give you props gnargnar for having the cojones to post in this thread again, after your first shill post you worked so hard on failed so spectacularly
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 25, 2014, 12:35:17 AM
.

presstab, you're better than this.. re-posting images? i'm a little disappointed. do you think this is accomplishing anything other than destroying any remaining credibility you might have?

Somehow i missed those PM's the first time around, would love to know if they're legit. You'd expect more of a back and forth discussion about such matters though, wouldn't you?

.

Hi presstab, someone told me you were looking into HYP/USD markets? I'm looking forward to it. Smiley
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 24, 2014, 02:00:11 PM
I actually discovered HyperStake with the help of this thread.

Sounds like HYP is the perfect coin for you, considering you're a lying sack of shit  Cheesy

How embarrassing this must be for you...
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 24, 2014, 01:53:54 PM
I actually discovered HyperStake with the help of this thread.

It always amazes me when i see a new created bct account making a thread to accuse a coin, because it is usually a sign that something is good about that coin and someone is jealous or want to create a panic on the exchanges, create volatility in order to take a good position for lower prices.

so i have watched this thread carefully, trying to understand what was the attacks about. I still don't understand how it can be so bad that the top list owners of this coin are actually the devs : it is in fact a very good sign for me. And the rich list even have their name beside the top rich list, so i know who are who.

So, to find out more about the real facts behind the coin, i joined the ##hyperstake IRC channel. Looks like the community there are great people, funny and smart. They explained me some of their plans and on what angles someone need to see the big PoS %, because it's not really about the % of PoS, more about the % of total coins someone can hold (and this don't change over time), i guess it is so for every coins.

A Big Pos% favorizes many things imho : community, giveaways, a feeling of abundance and prosperity. It strangely makes everyone that hold coins on a wallet happy and seems to create a kind of "competition" about who will stake first, etc.. i like it Wink

I won't try to hide, i bought some HYP yesterday and will do again today when my btc got confirmed on poloniex. Because i see right now good things about this coin... And wait until Hyperstake hit a chinese exchange, like bter or btc38 : those that follow which altcoins that are trending on the chinese markets knows that the chinese love Pos coins. Also, HYP's visibility, for the moment, is only limited to the poloniex trollbox, the irc channel and here at BCT.  Wait when it hit the social networks like reddit for example.

just wanted to share my opinion here.
i won't answer to Hypnotique, because his 14 posts -all made on this thread- speaks too loud about his bullshit
i won't also reply to Spoetnik, because based on all his recent threads here (like his very very bad joke about ebola), his behavior and how he react to critics, shows to me he probably have mental problems or that he will do everything to grab the attention span ( attention whore)

Good Luck everyone. Visit the IRC channel ##hyperstake and make up your mind on all these contradictory informations here, oh, and enjoy the Giveaways, there are plenty Wink
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 24, 2014, 12:34:30 PM
My answer is: don't buy. It would be great if people that want immediate money from it don't buy it at all.

+1
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 24, 2014, 02:47:39 AM
did you see the post dates on the OP's comment ?
that is pretty much proof the dev knew it was being forked waaaaaay before the public knew !
there for giving him the chance to buy up massive cheap DEAD coins for massive re-launch of sorts.
Did he ? i don't know but since it's highly likely it's a VERY fair assumption.. the dev has a LOT of the coins..
so did he RE-launch it first then go pay a LOT for them ? get it ? ahhahha
try using your common sense guys LOL

PRO TIP: ^ This guy gets it
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 23, 2014, 10:32:16 PM
First there were scam coins. Then there were ponzi coins. I guess it's about time someone released a scam ponzi coin. Congrats
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 23, 2014, 08:16:37 PM
(stop repeating about unfair distribution, it's ridiculous).

How is it ridiculous? Do you realize how many people are serving time in federal prisons for getting caught doing exactly what these devs are trying to get away with? (buying with insider information) This is called insider trading and it's ILLEGAL.

Thankfully a few people in this thread get it, the rest of you bagholders are fucking hopeless. No wonder you people get scammed so often.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts with Spoetnik ! on: October 23, 2014, 01:55:14 PM

HYP ? ..pure bullshit .
The dev ? a mass coin cloner.. propped up by the people who surround him, including bag holders, exchanges and mods etc who all want a slice of the pie.
no matter how self destructive it is to ALL of us !

If you believe in crypto guys i urge you to stop supporting those corrosive toxic losers in our scene.
A bitcoin profit is nothing compared to have credibility in the scene and each guy making 100 bitcoin later.. use your brains !
and cloners.. cut the crap and quit playing stupid, the idiots are long gone.. all of us here know damn well what is going on so don't insult our intelligence  Roll Eyes

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 23, 2014, 11:59:42 AM
Could someone translate the OP's allegation to me? I really don't understand...what is his point?

Disclaimer: I don't own any HYP, I am just trying to understand.

I apologize if I wasn't clear..

The point is that the coin distribution is fraudulent. Forking a coin into a new one is fine, the issue here is that these guys KNEW they were going to fork TRK days/weeks beforehand..  yet they only posted the ANN hours before the actual fork was to happen. This means that for days/weeks, the scammers knew any TRK they owned would entitle them to free HYP, and were free to accumulate TRK unnoticed...

I don't see how this is any different than releasing a cpu only coin, while the devs have a GPU miner.

Thanks for answering but that much was obvious. I just don't really see how this qualifies as a scam. Get real. There are real scammers here, real criminals. Make yourself useful and try to find them instead of going all hysterical on some not-so-important coin, no offense.

Same goes for that Canadian clown.

Anyway sorry I wasted your time (and mine)

You can lead a horse to water... you must be seriously stupid if you still don't understand why this is a scam.

Devs are happy to point point out how this was just an innocent experiment for the TRK community. In fact its a massive pre-mine private ICO scam and they're brazen in their deception to ensure new people keep coming in to buy the coins they got for free.
