I can say this is safely bitcoin cores fault... Doing the same on my node not to mention its sooo slow at reindexing. Looks like a bug somewhere in the program

If your running it on normal harddrives a good few hours at least. The shorter the time the longer it takes due to bitcoin having more and more transactions. It slow but it get there in the end

I need some advice on screen caputer software. I like camstudio its free. But also started using a program called Action. Thought about using dedicated capture hardware but its a bit pricey... What do you guys and gals reccomemd? Mostly for desktop and games. Thank you  |

I run into bootcamps over and over when going to work out in parks. The instructors must all read the same handbook. Get in the way of any other workouts going on,stare down anyone not in the bootcamp,yell as loud as you can as soon as anyones ear is in 4 feet of them "Keep it up,30 seconds" and talk about their diet to people that obviously are not training to be superstars. Nothing against people getting in shape but I have a issue when the taxes pay for the park and they act like a gang that needs to control the turf. There is a oval track and people run/ walk around it. People already walking the track have to walk off the track to get around a bootcamp yoyo in each lane doing planks,burpees or running that stupid stretched out ladder. The funny thing is one bootcamp leaves and another arrives and they all put the people through the exact same workout. Why anyone would pay to be yelled at when they got the routine figured out in 3 classes. Go back and forth if I want to be a asshole and speak on it. At some point I can not go to war with every person I see. Really want to piss them off get a box of doughnuts sit or stand pretty close to them eating them... It anoys them sooooo much |

This is ridiculous. What are you going to run on your windows Pi? Play games?
Good luck with that. This isn't Windows as you know it - there is no desktop, not even a cmd prompt. Remote PowerShell is about all you get at the moment as I understand it. So what will we be able to do with it? I was going to get a new laptop soon so it would have had windows so I would be entitled top the pi version but if the pi version is rubbish I might not bother. May be you can run a bitcoin (or altcoin) full node with it? easy to do that with raspbian. i think it will look like a windows desktop eventually even if it is cut down |

already hosting bitcoin nodes. it costs a little bit each month for the vps's but im happy to pay that. just want to help out and maybe earn some trust  |

Remote PowerShell is about all you get at the moment as I understand it. correct ots from the IoT department but i see this being useful for things like a terminal where its used just to display stuff. there are many uses as the PI 2 is pretty impressive. i got a full version of cgminer to work on it aswell as my hexfurry without fault. im sure in time hackers will have fun and crack open the fun stuff |
