Well people we should leave this be, with a bit of luck this coin will never even make it to an exchange and will discourage further sloppy releases of crypto currencies......
|
|
|
If YAC hits an exchange I'll burn some YACs to fight red candles, for whatever it's worth. How many do you have, anyway?

hey guys....i'm now minign for at least 3 hours and find nothing with my 6core 1090t. ...now i got some noob questions, where i think i could have some issues:
rpcuser=Username rpcpassword=(pass) rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=8108 port=7688 daemon=1 server=1 gen=1
this is like my config file is looking.
I can check via debug command line that i'm hashing and my cores are full at work.
for example
"blocks" : 36309, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 1, "difficulty" : 0.24532356, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 114261, "pooledtx" : 1, "testnet" : false
....pooledtx shows normaly 0 ecxept currentblocktx ....what does it mean when it both shows 1? ...when i re-enter getmininginfo" it shows other hashrate and 0 again on both.
"listtransaction" is empty after 3 hours...no luck or something wrong?
just to be 100 % sure...what do i have to name rpcuser (my current yacoin-wallet adress or doesn't matter?) and is the pass completly irrelevant?
please help a noob xD
./yacoind listtransactions

I agree... it is so difficult to mine..
Anyone want to set up a mining pool?

If I can still find blocks on a Q6600, you can find it on whatever CPU you have.

How many YAC/hour are folks getting, i.e., on _one_ dual- or quad-core CPU?
10 PRINT INT(RND(1)*10000) 20 GOTO 10 RUN Damn. That's an infinite loop per hour. Seriously, how many u getting? Depends on my luck Past hour I found two blocks worth ~35 yac each on my Q6600 @ stock clocks running enlightenment E17 while browsing the internet

Tried to compile cpuminer for windows from alex_fun source, but failed at make step.

Does anyone have any ideas?
make -f makefile.BLAH clean Didn't help... tried even to delete everyone from make folder and compile from scratch - nothing helped. Also cleaned Temp directory, there's also number of files that cannot be deleted. Will reboot now, cannot understand what's the hell going on that compilation Also looked into scrypt-jane.c files, I thought that there is some ASM part of code which can give this error, but no - plain C text. Seems like compiler/flags problem. Does anyone have the same problem at make step? My "fix" from the other thread (I don't actually know assembly): I have to go to bed, but if anyone wants to get a step closer to compiling it on windows, replace line 173 in ./code/scrypt-jane-portable-x86.h with #define asm_naked_fn_end(fn) ".att_syntax prefix;\n.def " #fn "; .scl 2; .type 32; .size .-" #fn "; .endef \n" ); The new error complains about _has_cpuid@0 not being defined (in minerd-scrypt-jane.o, after compiling to asm). Changed that, the same error as you have. Compiler cannot understand that it is ASM part of code. Don't remember how I managed with it some years ago in the university You gave up, built yacoind on linux and mined with that

Seriously, If you're not finding blocks You're doing it wrong Have been mining the whole night with my computer and my sis' one, and got really poor luck If you don't mind sharing your luck with me, just do so Have been missing all the currencies launch, so i would love to be in for the Yacoin YF253kLFchJfhjGm8GpDmJmQ4PZtGtX7XN Thank you dear sires Depends. Is your sister hot?

Edit: Some graphics. I give them away as Public Domain. I'll post a SVG if people seriusly wants to use them. This is probably the _BEST_ logo I've seen for all cyptcoins including bitcoin. Well done. You are obviously talented. Whose going to setup an official website for the most awesome YaCoin? brother! you have the same idea with me! i make a site http://www.yacoin.orgbut it's not good enough maybe we can do it together! Pass. I've no idea about web development. Anyone else? We gotta keep pushing this forward. This is _key_ in any real success of the currency. yes! YAC is cooler than others! CPU mining make more normal PC can join this currency! so i am glad to help this currency better . Have you seen this thread where the YaCoin creator explains how it's resistant to GPUs? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199888.msg2083600#msg2083600I think that a successful decentralised currency must allow everyone to participate equally. This really levels the playing field a lot and gives the average user some reason to participate in the network. Very clever! so cool. i love it. i have puted it in yacoin.org Are you sure it's working? I don't see it there. Found Yet Another Block

A CPU P2Pool is a good idea. There is noway most users are going to have the cpu power or willingness to burn away their cpu for 5 hour ATM probably 10 hours by tonight to get the "chance" of a block.
P2Pool accepts any type of device. There's no such thing as "CPU P2Pool". oh , so the boring GPU will join it.... but it's not a good news for CPU not good users just like me.... a cpu P6100 No. If there's a mining pool, it doesn't mean that you can suddenly use GPUs. no! i hate GPUs! it's not equal i mean we can share a block. not to wait so long time but nothing @Aggrophobia Ubuntu x86_64

There's no such thing as "CPU P2Pool". oh , so the boring GPU will join it.... but it's not a good news for CPU not good users just like me.... a cpu P6100 Normally I would be extremely angry, and go on a rant asking whether or not you understand how p2pool works But let me explain it P2Pool is an interface for mining If you can't use your mining software to solo mine You can't use it on P2Pool What he MEANT, and should have explained better, is that P2Pool doesn't allow restricting devices, so when GPU mining software DOES become available, they can join, but not before someone actually develops a GPU Miner EDIT: Found another 33 YAC block! Looks like my Q6600 is good for CPU mining after all

|

You people DO realize that you'll probably have less coins mining in a pool than solo, right?
|
|
|
We need P2Pool on this big time.
No. Pools kill coins Just like botnets kill coins In case if you haven't figured it out, I have a deep-seated hatred of pools
|
|

How do I mine this in Windows again?
windows you can run in CMD: yacoin-qt.exe -gen more information you can see in http://www.yacoin.orgThanks, can I solo mine this while P2Pool mining Royalcoin? YAC=CPU only royal=GPU/CPU So mine yac on cpu while mining royal on gpu
