41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 15, 2020, 04:27:38 PM
First of all having the intention of gambling is to make more money from what they have should be changed if they really wanted to get away from addiction.Gambling can bring wins but not profits, means only very people can change their life with their fortune but others are keep making the gambling site or casino owners more rich.

Only the individual can change it and for that rehab centers will help them.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project or Useless projects! on: January 15, 2020, 03:39:03 PM
I need some details about this project "Hypnoxys". This token already listed in coinmarketcap and number is almost 16**. But I'm still curious to know is this project still legit to everyone. Here is some details about this project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5110522.0
If someone really knows the answer for it then they will become a millionaire by now or later.I don't know about the project and ranking of market cap value is not really a matter if the idea of project is unique and will have usability in future.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 15, 2020, 02:04:43 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
New altcoins are like double edge sword it might hook up with bitcoin price trend or go in the opposite of it.I won't take risk of holding new altcoins so you made the smart move.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining crypto by walking on: January 15, 2020, 08:30:55 AM
If there  is such app exists then techos will alter the android codes to make unlimited amount of money without doing the real exercise apart from this it feels like a unique project and will have more demand as well.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forks were profitable today - what happened? on: January 15, 2020, 06:25:52 AM
Hi, I see that Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV grew today a lot. Bitcoin SV gained 35% profit today and Bitcoin Cash 15%, what happened?
I didn´t find any information connected to the today´s growth, maybe insider trading?
Bitcoin even gained same amount of price for last 48 hours so the coins you are mentioning just raised because of bitcoin price hike.

What about the other forks like bitcoin gold and diamond! Is there a platinum? Tongue
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: January 14, 2020, 09:39:56 PM
I feel excitement about the result of casino games is what that drives people into playing casino games again and again even if they know that game has no physical activity and it will end in seconds or fraction of it.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency Future in Pakistan on: January 14, 2020, 09:28:14 PM
I guess crypto currencies were never banned by government of pakistan since Localbitcoin site has offers from pakistan so only banks banned it like happened in India but bangladesh announced complete ban.But in future developed countries will be regulation so Pakistan also will do the same since they were afraid of how to regulate a decentralized payment.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Significance of Binance donation for Australian Bushfire on: January 14, 2020, 07:42:43 PM
I hope these kind of news will help to eliminate the bad image of crypto among the people who think it is a money only used by hackers but media will not cover much about these news to get exposure because government doesn't want them.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So far there is no Cryptocurrency Regulations in the UK on: January 14, 2020, 07:13:54 PM
Many countries warned people about risks or investing in cryptos but still it is legal to hold and trade cryptos there, sometimes new projects have restrictions to save people from getting scammed.

If UK doesn't have any regulations means users no need to pay high taxes but in case of any scam or fraud then its not possible to claim anything.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 14, 2020, 12:02:02 PM
Hello There!  Wink

At one time, I stopped being interested in the altcoin-markets because of the situation there. Famous projects were dropping their bags off to gullible investors to get even more money.

Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020?  Huh
Is it safe to trade ERC-20 tokens and is it possible to earn something else?
Prices are always manipulated in crypto currencies, lower the marketcap then high chances of being bumped or dumped with less capital so better try to avoid the low market cap coins to short term investments but these are only effective in short term if the coin is good enough to have real investors so you no need to worry because of sudden dump but if you are smart you will trade half of them into bitcoin.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 09, 2020, 06:01:05 PM
I won 0.175 BTC once in a poker tournament, more than 2 years ago, and I think there's no one left among the people I know, who didn't hear this story from me at least once. Smiley But hardly it was an amount sufficient to put one in danger if he/she talked about winning it (around $400 at the time of winning). Of course I agree with the OP on that if someone can't stop bragging about winning really big, you are putting your life and the lives of your close ones in danger. Winning big money should be enough to satisfy your ego. Don't be greedy for another satisfaction in the form of admiration by the people you know.
first congrats on your winning(even if this happens years ago) and luck comes to you in time.

but i think OP is talking about Big Gains or wins as jackpot?because there is no way we can risk our lives with 400$ winning.

if we get the Lottery jackpot then for sure we must keep silent even in our own family, just act normal first and set things first before letting them know how much you have won.
Even that $400 is huge for some people so with complete stranger we don't have to share our financial status not only in gambling but its better to keep silent at all the situation and grow as someone who never can't be touched with anyone
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other than bitcoin is it worth to invest in Ripple? on: January 09, 2020, 05:43:55 PM
FXStreet & Express.co.uk Ripple Price Prediction These websites give a moderate prediction saying that XRP has potential and may reach $3-$5 by the end of 2020. This is an assumption based on the fact that Ripple is best Investment opportunity of 2020.

https://coinpedia.org/information/xrp-ripple-price-prediction-2019/

Let me know your point of view on this?
Avoid investing on centralized crypto currencies, people can say this has potential to reach hig prices even people claim this will be next bitcoin but in reality these are just controlled by someone to make profits for them not for any holders.

2020 could be an year to hold ripple but be ready to sell all your centralized holding once you start seeing price surging more than a normal crypto.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE? on: January 09, 2020, 05:22:57 PM
a lot of changes when you go, which is seen right now the market is very bad all the prices of altcoin make new lows, in my opinion the new crypto environment is currently very bad
Most of the time good coins will survive the bad bearish trend so the coins which lost the value completely aare shit coins to be honest and nothing to be bothered about it,better try to hold the coins which are existing here for longer and the 2020 has got more expectations from the holders since the bitcoin halving is about to happen in near future,in the past instances which bring bullish trend on prices hope the same thing will happen again.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How i presently feel about bounties on: January 09, 2020, 11:37:27 AM
I'm starting to think its better to promote bounty projects with low allocation like 30k to 50k because they never failed to pay hunters, even if these projects find it hard to met softcap it will be easy to pay bounty rewards, this might be because of bear market but gone are those day of thousands dollar worth bounty rewards unless new wave of market movement takes place
It make sense to pick the project which has reality in rewards rather than projects allocated millions of tokens for their bounty hunters but the bounties should not be picked on the allocation it should be based on project and how much chance they got succeed in the crypto space.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a quick warning on: January 09, 2020, 07:10:01 AM
No matter how promising a project might look, especially if they are new projects just look them as if they have nothing to offer and invest only what you can afford to lose. Do not keep your eggs in one basket, do you fall in love with a single coin, no matter how good they are always keep digging, many more good gems won't hurt than relying on a single gem 💍. Be smart
No gems could be found anymore,it could be a metal same like which is already existing with us so risking the money is not worth on new project anymore unless that project got real hype and can be able to make some quick bucks by dumping when it hits exchanges.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: January 08, 2020, 07:05:03 PM
It all depends on the intention of borrowing money,if its for food then giving ir right choice but for recovering all the loss he made earlier then try to stay away from that user because he will never realze that he will lose more and more money if he plays gambling games to make money.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qatar Bans CryptoCurrency on: January 08, 2020, 05:16:20 PM
The Regulatory Authority shall impose penalties in accordance with its rights and obligations [...] in case of any violation of undertaking [...] activities that are not permitted in the QFC.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/qatar-financial-centre-puts-blanket-ban-on-cryptocurrency-businesses
What if other gulf countries follows quatar? Might be a huge blow for crypto market because more people from that region holding cryptos for years but they are not going to trade everyday o they are not in a hurry.

They might. There is a huge interest in bitcoin in the ME as a way to have portable money. Events in Syria, and now Iraq and Iran means there may be a war at any time. Qatar itself was blockaded by Saudi. So people have been buying bitcoin because you can then leave with your wallet on a USB stick if you need to.

I expect they're worried about capital flight which is why this ban has come into effect.
As long as people holding the bitcoin then it won't affect the market and as you said those country people will not sell their cryptos since they need that most if there is war season there.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there anything else that I should be looking for or are these the only factor on: January 07, 2020, 02:08:15 PM
So, I was looking for some altcoins to invest in and many experts here advised me to do my research before investing in any new coin. In fact, most people to whom I asked advice in this regard told me to thoroughly research a new coin before investing in it. Fair enough. So, now my question is how exactly I do that.

I was reading online and found a few blogs that talk about the factors to consider while evaluating a new cryptocurrency or project.  Factors that include research on Crypto coin based on a number of things such as the purpose, use of blockchain, coin economics, usage, team, etc.

Is there anything else that I should be looking for or are these the only factors to consider?

I challenge you to research these coins according to your factors:

Tezos (XTZ)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
ThoreCoin (THR)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
Titan Coin (TTN)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
Binance Coin (BNB)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
Bytom (BTM)   (Check on coinmarketcap)

Let's see who have the best and relevant researching skills in the crypto market.
You are giving the examples as already existing project so its more easier for anyone to say what is the good project at the moment in terms of profits but what is the new project which is something under development and didn't hit any exchanges yet for public sale.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An uncertain future of Libra! Is it good for the crypto traders? on: January 07, 2020, 06:54:05 AM
Libra is a stable coin project so for traders its just another one like tether or USDC or any stable coin,if LIbra never reaches the market the traders have nothing to lose they will find other trading pairs.
