41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be 10k in the next 6-10 months! on: November 27, 2017, 08:55:39 PM
It is interesting when someone is actually right in making a price call. I have to admit I would have never thought it would be possible at the time the post was made. Moreover, his call was even not enough optimistic, as what he guessed took only one month, instead of six to ten months.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: 5 digits on: November 27, 2017, 08:53:50 PM
I am definitely joining your belief. For me 10 000$ by the end of the year is perfectly possible. It would just need a 500$ increase, which, in a bit more than a month, is perfectly doable.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I check pre-ICO prices of already ended ICOs? on: November 27, 2017, 08:52:17 PM
I have never heard of this ICO, so unfortunately I am not able to help you. The best way I guess is if you have patience to look in the thread, there must have been someone who posted it at some moment.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ends a year at $10 000 on: November 27, 2017, 08:50:53 PM
I am a Bitcoin true believer since the first time I saw it. However when price was around 7500$ just not a long time ago, I would never have said th price of one bitcoin would ever be 10 000$ before the end of the year. But still it seems we are so close to see it becoming a reality.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $500,000 by 2020 on: November 27, 2017, 08:45:40 PM
500 000$ may be exagerated a bit, but consider I was thinking about two years ago that the price of one Bitcoin would be 5000$ by 2025, I frankly do think nothing is impossible in this crazy world.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's forking season !!! When it will end? List of Bitcoin Forks (Daily Updated) on: November 27, 2017, 08:43:59 PM
Well if some people give a value to these forked coins, I am not against it, at least it makes me some free money for doing nothing. In life one must take all the opportunity he is offered.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2017, 08:40:41 PM
They can not actually ban it by making it unable to to be reached, but however any state in the World can perfectly make it outlaw and then sentence anyone who would be caught using it. Hopefully the fashion is more to the legalisation lately than the ban.
48  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bittrex announces minimum trade size raise and other info on: November 27, 2017, 08:37:59 PM
Frankly I do not understand why they would be doing so. Bittrex is exploding in term of popularity and volume, it is completely destroying Poloniex and about any concurrent. Why doing so ?
49  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: !!! 💰 4.5 BTC BETTING COMPETITION 🍀 SPORTSBET.IO 🍀 PART #4 thru Feb. 6th 💰 on: November 21, 2017, 07:30:40 PM
BetAdviser, you can already count me in, just like each time !

About what the competitions could look like, I am not sure. If you want to ask me my opinion, better is still to set up a poll and I will be glad to answer it and provide some justification on my choice.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Forum full of 'normal people' who over the years became filthy rich? on: November 21, 2017, 07:27:11 PM
Invest only the amount you can afford to lose. Otherwise, Bitcoin will destroy your personality.
There are only 2 results ... Bitcoin drops to zero or will be worth $ 1,000,000.

Wait 10 years and you will be "filthy rich" or nothing will change (if you invested only amount, you can afford to lose) :-)
There are less than 500,000 person in the world who own 10 BTC.

There are more millionaires than ever in the United States. As of the end of 2016, there were a record 10.8 million millionaires nationwide, according to a new study from Spectrem Group's Market Insights Report 2017. That's more than ever before and marks a 400,000 person increase from the previous year.

I do not agree with you that one should invest a little amount. Bitcoin is a once in a century opportunity to make a lot of money. And while you can lose money, because it will come back with time, such as great opportunity will never be back. So my advice to people reading this is to buy when it is still the time to.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 21, 2017, 07:23:29 PM
I also noticed that. How could my life not be a dream ? Or a nightmare, depending of what aspect of it I think about. Price was just 1000$ in January. That means what I had increased their value by eight. But the money I did not use to buy bitcoins did not...

I think that is just the beginning. 20 000$ is the next stop in three years.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People's feeling towards Bitcoin is changing on: November 21, 2017, 04:23:49 PM
There is indeed a problem concerning the transactions cost and time to be processed. This has however nothing to do with miners, the blocks are just full nothing more. But this is not new at all.

However, the fact that we are a bubble seems less consensual to me. Price increased a lot more by August, and time proved it is just organic growth. It is about the same for now.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: November 21, 2017, 04:18:43 PM
There is sometimes things we can not be sure of, but about the fact that Bitcoin will replace PayPal, well, we can be sure. There are simply way too many flaws for PayPal to survive. There are limitations, restrictions, huge fees, etc. Bitcoin will make many people unemployed soon !
54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Use of btc on: November 20, 2017, 09:48:42 PM
I mostly use my bitcoins by selling them throught LocalBitcoins for money on my PayPal account. I also use Purse.io to buy directly on Amazon. A good other would be to sell them for cash from hand-to-hand sellers but I have not yet done it.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet: The Idea that Bitcoin has Value “Is Just a Joke” on: November 20, 2017, 09:42:55 PM
I do not agree with him. Bitcoin is not a way to transmit money as he says like checks could be. It is basically money. Well, exactly in economical terms it is a commodity used as a currency with a face value of the price of this commodity? So at the end it is money. But what he does not get is that it is a third way for money, like fiat or gold were. He is from the old stocks world, he could not understand how something that is not making profits could be worth anything, but what we can only say is that it is too bad for him ! He would avoid huge inheritance fees with Bitcoin, but that is his problem.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: November 20, 2017, 09:37:02 PM
Then it will end up as an asset.  Like gold or precious metals.

Yeah, but moreover the blocks will not be filled anymore. In fact if the blocks are full it is a good sign, because it means Bitcoin is widely used, but that is not the matter of the topic.

So to answer the question, it will mainly clear up the network and the memory pool and makes Bitcoin look like a bit less like a currency. Since I see Bitcoin as a currency and not an asset, I better see never that happen.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea To Tax Bitcoin Use on: November 20, 2017, 09:33:37 PM
I think that at the end it gives legitimity to Bitcoin, it makes it finally an asset like any other from which the criminals from the government will take a tax on. But that is another story. At the end it is good that in such places where I will have very limited interests in the future the reglementation makes it legal to increase the legitimity of Bitcoin so that here without taxes I can still enjoy these effects on the price !
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies Will Replace Fiat in 5 Years on: November 20, 2017, 09:30:36 PM
Even though such claims might be still good for the moral of some people, they are obviously false, and even a great fool would realise it. In fact as long as there will be states, there will be fiat money. So except if he plans to overthrown the European Union and the United States, his claim is false.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it the truth bitcoin can drop to altcoin prices in this year? on: November 20, 2017, 09:27:15 PM
The most expensive altcoin is Bitcoin Cash if I am not mistaken, at a price of something like 1200$. It is simply not possible for Bitcoin to crash that low, perfectly impossible. You can sleep with peace of mind.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would Bitcoin price reach $10K by the end of 2017? on: November 20, 2017, 09:25:06 PM
If you asked me this just two days ago I would have answered nothing else than a clear no. But now current times make it worth the time to think about it. While I could not clearly say yes, it is now perfectly possible for me.
