BiblePay (BBP)- 10% mined coins always go to Charity (already sponsoring 180+ Orphans monthly) - ASIC-Resistant like Vertcoin/Groestlcoin (CPU Mining Only) - fork of DASH (Masternode Governance Model, Budget Proposals & Voting) - POBh Proof of BibleHash Algorithm, All Nodes are Full Nodes Launched July 23rd 2017, market cap ~1-2 million Love one another, be a good Samaritan, help those in distress, and spread the gospel === 1. Initial distributional method - NO Premine - NO Instamine - NO ICO - Announced on bitcointalk with windows wallet exe and linux code https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2042657.05. Long term commitment and proven staying power- Masternode Governance Model (Voting & Budget Proposal Systems) https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/8585240/Understanding+the+Governance+and+Budget+System- Sadly if project dies hundreds of Orphans will stop receiving funding Learn More: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.0 Thank you for using the format OP asks for. Personally I'm a little uncertain if it fits the criteria or not. My concerns are: 1. Proven development team. Not sure we can conclude a development team is proven after less than six months. 2. Obvious use case. Any coin can be used for charity, and several have it as their main focus. I don't believe that a coin who's only use case is charity has much chance of wide spread adoption, and thus also will fail as a charity coin. Maybe togoshigekata can elaborate on this? Despite my above concerns, I believe it warrants a discussion about adding them to the list or not. Arguments have been made for all five criteria, and unless they are met by counter arguments, the coin should make it to the list.

I would like to stake bitbay and i have raspberry pi 3 but i dont know how i can .I search everywhere but i didn't found exactly information. Someone can be explain ? Can i do stake with rasbery? thanks for helping me with this.
You shoud be able to run Qt wallet on raspberry pi as it is now. We are currently testing a new Qt build that should make it easier to set up. When that is done we will try to get the client running on raspberry as well. If you are not an experienced linux user, I suggest you wait for the new builds to be released (coming soon). We are also talking to someone that wants to sell rasberry pi's preconfigured for staking Bay. Detailed instructions on how to set up your raspberry will be written when we are ready to release the new builds.

I just found out that withdrawel of crypto from C-cex is not possible from December 20th to Jan 20th. They claim the reason is vacation. They did not warn their users with email notification. Does anyone believe that a business that is nomally open 24/ takes 1 month! vacation? I certainly don't. Does anyone have info on this?
It means the exchange might close sooner, they should announce it before they take vacation. They announced it 6 days prior. But even then, it's weird. I mean much smaller exchanges didn't have to do anything like this. Doesn't make sense at all. Has to be a lie. And they never sent email to the users about this. Only posted a tweet. No serious business would do this if everything was ok.

Thanks mate...
BTW, why don`t we try to get listed on Binance?
Because their asking price for listing is totally unrealistic. What about other Chinese or Korean exchanges? Only 2 exchange... too few for our potential.. We are on 4 exchanges. Bittrex, Upbit (korean), cryptopia, and c-cex.

I see you have an enourmous 1 billion coins circulating but what is the max supply i can't find it is it 2 billion or what is it? For POS coins there normally is no max supply. Only a defined rate of growth. For BitBay that is 1% pr year. In reality this means supply is likely to go down because people keep forgetting to make backups or lose their passwords. Biggest loss I know of so far is one holder that lost 18 mil Bay when his HDD crashed. (He did not have backup). So that's almost two years emission compensated with that one crash.

I think that bitbay needs to invest a little more in marketing for the project. A little investment goes a long way. It's all about the presentation.
Working on it. Expanded the team with 7 people the last ten days or so, and will expand more. But it takes time to build a team, teach them about Bay, and find a good workflow. How do I join the team? Any open positions? Open positions are announced here https://forum.bitbay.market/If you have any special skills that are not listed you can pm aletha and tell her why those skills are beneficial for Bay.

Also people where scared that the market place of bitbay (yes it has one) will be overloaded with drugs etc, because of the complete annonymous thing. This won't happen it will be 100% illigal/drugs free. Trusted community members have mod keys. This topic is debated a little here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=890531.msg17782226#msg17782226 Goes on for ten posts or so

If that is the case you can attempt to run it from the command line and rescan. Also, are you running the most recent version of the QT? You are aware we had a hard fork that triggered on the 30th of November. If your QT is from before November 1st then that could be why. Yes, I am aware of the HF, so. I downloaded the QT (BitBay version v2.0.0.0-g32a928e) wallet off their website after the HF date. The sync is up-to-date, and I see the tx on the explorer. However, it still doesn't show up in the QT wallet I am a noob. How do I get into the the command line and rescan??? Thanks a bunch Hope someone can answer you soon. I don't know why it is not showing in your wallet. Also not sure how you do a manual rescan However 100% certain if you see it in the explorer it is there. Just a case of getting the wallet reading it properly. One of the team will answer quickly I am sure. It's probably answered already. We had a similar case in support yesterday. Actually I thought it was this user we were dealing with because I had already told him to go to https://forum.bitbay.market/c/supportThat's where we do support.

It's quite some time ago that I checked how Bitbay is going. I would like to understand what the current stage of development is and what potential investors can expect to happen in that regard over the next 6 or so months. It is astonishing to see where the whole project is today. My congratulations for that!
https://bitbay.market/roadmapLot's of releases over the next 7 months. I'm praying we can release the dynamic peg before any potential cryptocurrency bubble pops. Because it would become one of the most sought after coins in the industry for those that don't want to cash out. What is the dynamically pegged coin about? Is it something like a decentralized Tether? But then there is also Nubits on Bittrex, which is supposed to be decentralized. Not sure how they work exactly. Can you something about that? Would like to understand the mechanism you have in mind and what you want to achieve with it. Thanks in advance! Yes, decentralized. But a very different construction than you find in tether or nubits. There are three main differences: 1. Decentralized, so you don't leave your faith in the hands of a few (possibly corrupted) people. 2. Our peg is constructed to reduce volatility -not eliminate it. The point is to make the coin stable enough for normies to use as a currency, whilst still attracting investors and traders. 3. The peg is enforcable. With Tether you have to trust that the owners are able and willing to back the peg. With Nubits you have to trust that the incentives work. We have already seen they don't always work. With BitBay's peg it can be enforced no matter how much a trader or events push down. It has it's limits if traders or events push up, but we assume most Bay owners willl not mind that.
