41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin report from Citibank- Bitcoin will die on: January 15, 2018, 06:28:18 PM
Do not click the link guys, no one knows if that link could have malicious code inside, and nowadays, it is very risky to click on external links, specially on this forum, where there is targetted traffic.
Just an advice, if you want to post it, just quote.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: transaction fee on: January 15, 2018, 06:11:41 PM
Well it is true that the fees are very high right now, but we can not do anything in order to avoid them. Or just use poloniex or localbitcoins, you will have to pay a half of the total fees (polo ; 0.0005 for fees - lbc; 0.0003 for fees)
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY 2.0][ICO] Spectiv: VIRTUAL REALITY STREAMING + DECENTRALIZED ADVERTISING on: January 01, 2018, 03:53:46 PM

44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoins taxable? on: December 28, 2017, 07:08:27 PM
Of course that they are taxable, but it all depends on how are you going to withdraw your bitcoins.. If you are in the US they are going to tax you all your bitcoins with aproximately 15% of what you cashout (max 25k per year)
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fever on: December 28, 2017, 06:57:51 PM
The most exiting part is when you are talking to someone and you can tell him that you bought bitcoin at the early stages, not when it was at $1000, much more less than that..  Wink
46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to secure and maintain Bitcoin accounts an wallet ? on: December 28, 2017, 06:47:48 PM
As I am a new user of bit coin so I don't know how to keep it safe....
Expecting suggestion from seniors  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Yeah, just use hardware wallets, that is the best thing that you can do, maybe they are a little bit expensive, but it is worth it. Or just print a paper wallet and keep the private key safe, it is free and safe too.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos vs Government Currencies and deflation vs inflation on: December 28, 2017, 06:38:17 PM
The inflation of the united states will always be the same, i do not understand why you all are worried about it.
They say that bitcoin is not backed up by anything, but their fiat is the same, they are just printing and printing.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a store of value on: December 28, 2017, 04:30:52 PM
It would be a  store of value if the price wouldn't be so volatile as it is right now.
But actually, the price is moving between $1500 and $2000 a day (in both sides; down; up)
So it makes it impossible to be a way to hold money
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: December 28, 2017, 04:22:15 PM
That it will always be the number one because it has been the first crypto that has been introduced in the market, and there is no other way to explain it, almost all the other altcoins are purely based on bitcoin technology.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of bitcoin with these high fees? on: December 28, 2017, 04:11:42 PM
$20 ?  You are still on the past my friend, the fees are much more expensive that just twenty bucks, they are 0.0017 btc, aproximately more than $28 at this moment. It really needs to get lowered asap.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All eyes on Japan in 2018 on: December 28, 2017, 03:59:11 PM
It was true, they want to ban everything that is related at some point with bitcoin and everything that concerns about it.
It will be a bad year for the Japanese holders, of course.
52  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Generate wallet address any time you want ? on: December 28, 2017, 03:44:49 PM
Use coinbase, they are going to create a new address for you almost every six hours or so. Or if you do not want to do this process, create addreses on bitaddres and then expor them all to electrum or just to blockchain.info
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much money have you cashed out from bitcoin on: December 28, 2017, 03:34:06 PM
I have cashed out probably more than 2/4 of everything that i made with bitcoin on the past, and i am still doing it.. anyway, this thread is more than four years ago, i dont understand why you all are bumping it.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: «Envion» Highest ROI crypto infrastructure | $2M Bounty available! on: December 28, 2017, 03:32:29 PM
Interested in this project, it seems that envion will be a game changer during the next year, looking forward to join soon.

I have invested $1000 already, looking to buy more as soon as possible.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be more profitable in the upcoming years? on: December 28, 2017, 03:14:56 PM
It depends on what profitable means for you.. In the upcoming years the price will be much more higher of course, not it doesnt mean that it is much more "Profitable" than what it is right now.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's design is severely flawed on: December 28, 2017, 06:21:25 AM
It's perhaps one of the worst currencies in the world for everyday transactions. It's only good for transactions greater than $10,000, for now. As time goes on it will only be good for TX greater than $100,000. Any small TX would be useless to make with bitcoin.

I agree with those terms over the fees, you are right.

But Amex and Visa really need to stop their monopoly, and i really believe on the power that the lightning network has, it is just matter of patience.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions fees so high on: December 28, 2017, 06:10:29 AM
They are extremely high right now, but with my Ledger Nano i had to pay aproximately $15 worth of fees a few hours ago and it went through very fast, it seems tha tthe segwit addreses fees are pretty cheap right now.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin valued so much when there is infinite supply of crypto ? (Sorta) on: December 28, 2017, 06:00:33 AM
Almost all the altcoins and cryptos in general are purely based on speculation, fear, hype, and nothing more than that.
The price is "priced" by the people who invest in there, nothing more.
And no one cares about the supply when they invest, only on the price.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2017, 05:48:44 AM
I think that the only foolish people in here are the ones who haven't invested before, no offense, but that is the real truth. There is a lot of people always talking crap about bitcoin, but they do not realize that they are missing a huge opportunity in here.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not Money, is Faith on: December 28, 2017, 05:40:48 AM
I think we should not value Bitcoin by Money, but by faith. Just hold and let it change the world.

It is faith, and it is money too.. You can still buy a lot of things with bitcoin, and it is the same as altcoins, you can use it everyday to make multiple payments. You have a bad concept about it, obviously
