exact same thing happened on saturday may 7. this site is an absolute joke. it makes me wonder why anyone plays here. the amount of technical errors in the live sportsbook is laughable. it takes them 30+ minutes to grade MLB games when they claim it is automatic. their live chat support agents have no ability to actually DO anything other than say "open a ticket and our team will address it in business hours".
There are so many better options like Nitrogen.
When something like this happens, Betcoin should have all of their IT guys on it immediately. Instead, they don't realize anything is wrong because their staff and management is a bunch of fucking monkeys.

Major problem with this site. Bet on a live soccer match (bet was for over 5 goals. game was in 72nd minute. game ended up with 6 goals) Attempted to place the bet 5 times, and funds were taken from my account. (Funds for only 1 bet were taken). As you can see in my list of transactions below, 4 of them were marked "canceled" and the other was marked "pending". All bets that are in process are marked "pending". So, I figure this bet is good....right? Wrong. Betcoin now claims that this got "stuck in the system" and my funds will be returned shortly. That's convenient, considering the bet won. See the 3rd line item from the bottom below. Bet shows as pending, whereas the other 4 show as canceled. So, as the paying customer, I get screwed because of a glitch in the system? How is that fair? http://imgur.com/lTyVHjZFYI - Betcoin made good on this and honored the bet. Thank you! No complaints. |

Any cliffs on why you assume its a scam?
Many times, they will offer only one side of a bet. They also offer odds that aren't "real". They are completely inflated. Take for example the tennis match above where they offered -1667 on the favorite and +250 on the underdog. Bet365 was offering +300 / -475 on the same match. Directbet uses the same odds provider as Bet365. But, they are able to adjust the odds based on the amount of money they have on each bet in order to ensure a profit. As mentioned above, many times they will even stop offering one side of a match and pigeon hole bettors into betting on the side that is advantageous for DirectBet. No, us bettors don't have to take that selection, but a lot of people do...it's the gambler's nature. DirectBet is an unlicensed shop, which is why they can get away with this. |
