45  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Only one user and already trouble! Should I pay the extortion? on: March 13, 2015, 04:45:58 PM
Also you can see that Small is still spreading misinformation claiming that Gebbit was hacked when it was never hacked.

Small, the only legible name is your signature and this is the picture you only sent me today well after this thread was made. Also, I am sure with your previous payments having made a lot more per hour than the average person in your country you can afford to go to a prints hop as we've suggested to you for days now.
46  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Only one user and already trouble! Should I pay the extortion? on: March 13, 2015, 04:42:43 PM
There was only 1 person who actually sent payment aside from the liquidity provider. However, that is at all not the accusation. The truth is Small was caught lying about his work. He had been paid already for the previous 2 or 3 weeks prior. At first he did do good work but it became evident that he was not following instructions and was only doing the type of work which was unverifiable. I had my suspicions but no proof. However, when I caught him lying red handed I can only believe that instead of him being such a terrible worker that he indeed didn't do other things that he said he did. If I had to guess his time theft in total significantly exceeds the hours he's requesting to be paid for now as the time theft started before the previous week.

I know someone justified not paying because he didn't actually cause the site to gain any traction but that is not at all something gebbit would do. We had an agreement and we will keep that agreement. Since we know that he lied about having fulfilled his end of the agreement and that we cannot take his word any more we are in a sticky situation but only because we are not impartial in the matter. However, I can't imagine an impartial party thinking we should pay for services not rendered. We have no idea however exactly how much time theft Small is responsible but if I had to guess it would exceed the amount we owe him.
47  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows [Updated Daily] Trade Safely! on: March 13, 2015, 04:31:23 PM
can you escrow for this campaign?

48  Economy / Services / Re: [BB] Signature contest for Gebbit.com - 0.25 BTC bounty on: March 13, 2015, 04:30:15 PM
Escrow seems to be standard practice so we're happy with that. The scam accusation with Small is bunk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=986642.0 so no need to worry.
49  Economy / Services / Re: [BB] Signature contest for Gebbit.com - 0.25 BTC bounty on: March 13, 2015, 04:13:47 PM
I don't do Signatures but i'd like to say that I love the website layout. It looks amazing.
I hope your site does well!

Thank you! Feel free to sign up!
50  Economy / Services / [BB] Signature contest Gebbit.com - 0.15 BTC bounty for just 2 signatures ESCROW on: March 13, 2015, 04:11:41 PM
UPDATE  Escrow is on and competition will end April 7th as per and earlier statement I had made that after escrow there will be 10 days.

Dear designers,

Gebbit.com is a place to buy and sell Bitcoin.

We would like to have a signature campaign that promotes both our main site as well as our Bulk Trading Feature. Here are some of the benefits of Gebbit

0% commission on Limit Orders
Bitcoin payments go straight to cold wallet
Insured live wallet
Fast processing times
Very Low spread

The benefits of Gebbit's Bulk Trading can be found here

https://gebbit.com/BulkOrders

Unlike Coinbase, trades only occur once the user accepts a rate. If the user is not happy with the rate given they can wait for another rate or they can have their payment sent back after a small processing fee. There are no surprises.

We need signatures to be made for :

Hero Member
Member

All contestants are asked to provide a signature which includes the 2 features of Gebbit. Screenshots for submissions are of course accepted.
The best design, as voted by us, will receive the bounty of 0.15 BTC upon delivery of the BB source code.

To design your signature, please take color, fonts and ideas from our site Gebbit.com

Our logos

and a couple gifs

Everything must be clickable and redirect to the appropriate website url.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage on GitHub: ~2% monthly return, market-neutral long/short on: March 13, 2015, 12:26:36 PM
Is that 2% on the fiat or BTC side? If Bitcoin doesn't die it seems hard to believe that bitcoin returns from HLODing won't exceed the returns of this program. The arbitrage would have to make returns on the current bitcoin price and exceed the fact that the funds are not always in BTC. Finally, it would have to account for situations where users get goxxed.

It's hard to believe that this isn't a waste of time and a losing proposition when compared to simply HLODing.

Please explain to me where my logic falters.

I'm looking for someone to manage a signature campaign for gebbit.com would you be interested Mitchell? If not I'm also willing to consider other members.

Also, it is worth noting I have a low trust rating because I got scammed not because I scammed anyone.

I'm interested if you send me the details. I currently run the Bitin one and previously operated the Eden Dice campaign until it closed.

Please email support@gebbit.com in that case. That way we won't muddle up this thread. Anyone else that is interested can email support@gebbit.com as well.

54  Other / Meta / How to change trust rating on: March 13, 2015, 09:30:49 AM
Gebbit.com was scammed by the user Small as already detailed here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=986642.0

Because he was angry at being caught he decided to lower my trust rating. What exactly do I need to do to fix my trust rating?
55  Economy / Reputation / Re: a Small Reputation Thread + PGP KEY on: March 13, 2015, 09:29:02 AM
Be careful, Small scammed gebbit.com

Here is a link to the thread which includes his picture. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=986642.0

Any new provable information on Small is being rewarded.

Was this the last auction or will there be one more? If there's another when is it, will it be the last and how many BTC will be sold?
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: help needed - txn not get confirmed - on: March 13, 2015, 09:12:53 AM
Also I sent you an extra dollar as a tip. I sent .01BTC but only asked for two banners to be made so there was nothing shady going on here in case you are wondering.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: help needed - txn not get confirmed - on: March 13, 2015, 09:11:51 AM
I'm sorry about the wait superstar. I'm glad it finally confirmed though.
