41  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Best Prices of Gold & Silver for Bitcoins on: June 09, 2013, 07:04:57 PM
Amagi Metals Sound Money Friday Closing Update:

http://www.amagimetals.com/blog/2013/06/07/free-market-update-672013/

Unfortunately we no longer ship to France, details in the update.

Wow, together with their 75% tax on the rich (google if if you're interested) France really is building up a welfare state..... problem being they're driving out all those who's income pays for the welfare.

-And good to see Amagi doing well in the btc community. I have it on good authority one of their recent btc purchases was for 17oz of Gold, nearly $25k worth.
42  Economy / Securities / Re: [BAKEWELL] Action Proposal - Call for Volunteers on: June 09, 2013, 05:41:10 PM
If any Bakewell owners are looking to move on, I might be willing to pickup your shares. Not trying to be opportunistic, so if you are considering selling please be aware of the most recent developments and make an informed decision. (owners of record on bitfunder can get info from Strello, our communications volunteer)

Willing to pay above current frozen price, obviously not going as high as pre-disappearance but message me with offers.
43  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinabul.com, Legit? on: June 09, 2013, 12:46:51 AM
Highly recommend the link in my signature instead. I too have placed many orders with Coinabul in the past. Often the wait was very long and updates/communication quite poor. Numerous people started placing orders at the high of the market and they became quite behind, but I think eventualy everyone got their orders. Has also been a few missing/damaged orders that got some exposure on here, not sure how those worked out. They are in essense just a middle man who take your BTC and then place an order with someone else to send you what you ordered.

Amagi is a brick and mortar store in Denver that started accepting BTC. Much better mix of people/trust and (exept for during the current shortages) inventory.

He posted a full article's length of information on Facebook? Sure.

I agree with the sentiment that you are just trying to make it look like you have a friend.

Way to leave the address bar in that pic.

Gonna be a while before we get to 8.2 considering we're only at 0.8.2 right now.

1.5 good trades so far. Bought some online game currency from him.

Sent half, then received my in game currency, then sent him the other half.
Second time certain game mechanics prevented the in game transaction and I was refunded my initial deposit.

I am looking for 100-150 one Troy ounce silver rounds or bars. These can be off brands. I want to be as close to spot as possible. What is the best you can do on something like that? I guess you could PM me if you don't wish to post here.

Our prices are listed on our website: http://www.amagimetals.com/silver/1-ounce/1-oz-silver-golden-state-mint-bar.html

Those were my choice for cheapest 1oz pieces but I could only add a maximum of 50 to my shopping cart last week... Not sure if that was total stock on hand or some other limit.... But those are the ones to get if you don't want to step up to the 10oz ntr bars (on back order right now)

I just realized I haven't found a block in a LONG time(Edit March 10th apparently), guess GPU's really are on the way out. At one point I thought I'd get into the "hall of fame" on slush's page, now up to 26 blocks found and the threshold just keeps going up.

First http://blockchain.info/block/00000000000000b12837c79d74cf0b9b24d18089ad339e954366701fd3d85a33?site=slush

But I'll keep hashing away until the systems brake or I'm literally making pennies a day.

Would like to report that the USPS international shipping is once again working for bitcoin orders, at least it did for me, and at above the threshold... If that's an error heads up, but please leave mine with USPS Smiley

51  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Largest Selection of Gold & Silver for Bitcoins on: May 22, 2013, 01:36:41 AM
We have been experiencing some checkout issues with bitcoin this last week. We are pleased to announce that the checkout issues are resolved and the bitcoin checkout process is hassle-free again!

ETA on fixing international shipping USPS availability? Shopping cart denominated in $usd under $1k value works, switch to btc and usps is no longer an option.
52  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where is best, reliable, reputable business to buy gold with bitcoin? on: May 19, 2013, 04:11:36 AM
Yep, Amagi.

Pay attention to current market shortages if you are in a hurry, or get anxious when it takes a while.

We've gone through 50pages (at whatever default layout is) in about 2weeks..... most of the last couple weeks has been not worth Slush's time in my opinion.

55  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: AMD stock going up, due to alot of people buying radeon cards for mining? on: May 14, 2013, 02:49:00 AM
Gaming scene as in AMD is the graphics provider for the next gen Xbox/Playstation. That combined market probably outsells their standalone gpu market as far as volume, although the price per unit is significantly lower.
56  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Largest Selection of Gold & Silver for Bitcoins on: May 13, 2013, 01:04:37 AM

Ok something in the conversion, but I think it something other then 1btc = 1usd or I would be able to order 999btc worth with USPS intl. as an option.

Anyone else with connection issues right now? My rigs have been off for 30mins, both by proxy and direct fallbacks get nothing.
58  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Largest Selection of Gold & Silver for Bitcoins on: May 11, 2013, 02:54:20 PM
Make sure you also file a police report.
We have also started using FedEx for international shipments over $1,000. The costs are slightly higher, however the benefits are that we can ship orders more securely to more locations all over the world.

Now I have to split up my purchases to under $1000, I work out of town and my post office holds packages up to 3wks, all the couriers only 5 business days.

After further playing around with your site, it seems USPS is not an option at all when paying in btc. As soon as I flip the order into $ USPS becomes an option.... That on purpose?
59  Economy / Goods / Re: 100 Troy Ounce .9999 Fine Royal Canadian Mint Poured Silver Bars on: May 06, 2013, 11:45:55 PM
if you right click and check the link behind that btc price he is looking for $2900usd +shipping.

The scarcity thing is true, I placed a local order for one of these and had to wait a week for them to get it in, same place was offering silver maples for $2premium or a 4week waiting period.
