Segwit was a good news story, which is why it pumped. But... no-one uses Litecoin. There were only 9,753 transactions in the last 24 hours: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/litecoin-transactions.htmlThat means that people arn't switching to use litecoin, even though there is a transaction backlog on bitcoin. If this continues and no-one uses it, there is no reason for the price to rise. Interesting, you have just given me an idea for a website that lists TPS rather than market cap.

The LTC developers seem to keep information closely held and don't seem to talk about their projects as much as the developers of other coins. Or that may just be my perception. To be honest, I took that as being evidence that there was very little Litecoin development going on. Happy to have been proven wrong given recent developments.

It would help if you could link to what Satoshi Buttons is or explain what service they offer.
The more information, the more people can be prevented from sending their BTC to a black hole.

I'm not sure why, but something is telling me that Charlie Lee isn't going to act as escrow for this transaction.
Perhaps I'll be surprised.

It can definitely be a profitable strategy, but you need to find the right amount of volume to enable it to be worth your time.

then that is a good news for us fanboys here. regular people leaving > less transaction spam from them > lower fees for the fanboys > hooray. So fewer people sending bitcoin transactions is a good thing?

I agree that it is a very poor user experience.
A friend recently sent some BTC for the first time and was very frustrated when the recommended fee caused him a 6 hour wait for confirmation. This was also with Blockchain.info

Thanks for responses.
Once I am in a position to purchase, I will come back to this thread.

Thanks for the replies.
I saw that one - I think 3 BTC is a little pricey for me, so was hoping to see if any offers came in.

Looking to buy one of these for a friend sometime this summer.
Please let me know if you have one for sale and what you are looking for it.
Graded / Ungraded is fine as long as it is in good condition. Pictures are a must.

That's the first time I have seen anyone name him as Satoshi and for good reason.
The video did not really have any relevance.

Why the hell would you bother surviving an alt crash by buying even more alts? Knackered old Bitcoin is looking rather buoyant right now.
Agreed. I think Bitcoin and Litecoin are the way to survive an Alt Crash ! The litecoin might not survive. As soon as SegWit starts getting acceptance on Bitcoin, Litecoin will drop like a stone. Until the next technological hurdle anyway.

Rest assured that your money is not lost.
The transactions will either be confirmed or, given enough time, they will be returned to your balance when they are dropped from the mempool.

I can't speak for Bitcoin, but cryptocurrencies in general surely have a bright future in terms of market cap.
When we the stock market crash and a massive recession, the speed in which money flows in will increase.

You'll need to describe what exactly you want this website to do. Just saying you want a script will not get you anywhere.
Nowadays it is pretty easy to make your own website using a site like Wix or Webflow.

Ethereum is a threat to Bitcoin's supremacy, though its different attributes mean it will probably not replace it. Ethereum is not meant to be an electronic cash but bitcoin is.
I'm pretty sure the line has changed to Bitcoin now being a settlement layer, rather than e-cash. I wonder what it will be changed to next?

We are definitely in bubble mode, though who knows if it will pop tomorrow, or inflate many factors more.
Better to let your profits run... for now.
