Dev we so you're online.  Please give an update on the exchanges.

Thanks.

yeah, but they do have massive pumps from time to time.

With a legit coin like VIDZ, expect big things on launch.

 Grin

I hope not. I want to see a slow growth so its not just a pump and dump and hold for a few years. Smiley But I just checked yobit again and I think the devs also need a block explorer first before they can have the listing.

Devs do you have a block explorer yet?

As long as the site is frequently updated and new content added, I expect a slow upwards growth.  When porn is added expect the value to triple, mark my words.

One more quick question for the devs. https://blockchain.info/address/351QpGDfzEW2H51tCCDn6qvUPfZZnTGuSg
How come money is already coming out from the escrow address? Huh

Looks like the escrows are helping themselves to their payment.

Maybe. I still want to hear it from the devs first. Anxious!

I've done the math.  It's just the escrows taking their fees out, stop worrying.

Moved my vidz to wallet, password protected wallet, can't open wallet because password is wrong. It was a copy paste for christ sake. Fuck my life

Damn.  How many?

Any exchange will do. Just no C-cex please!

Yeah C-cex and POS coins are a big no no  Roll Eyes

C-Cex is definitely better than Yobit. At least C-Cex keeps wallets open, and does not enter into fake "maintenance mode" to manipulate markets. And it has real responsive support, unlike Yobit. Half of markets at C-Cex have lost any relation to the real blockchain!

Regarding staking coins and C-Cex Grin Well, you know, at least that provides some liquidity for some markets  Wink

I disagree. I would trust yobit over C-cex anyday.

I'm with drays on this one C-CEX over Yobit. It seems like the guys running Yobit don't give a shit about their exchange or are being deceptive and manipulating markets.

So does the dev need to buy both of the listings?

I assume he will use the ICO funds to buy the listings.

Would one recommend windows or mac?  My windows machine is at home (I would have to remote into) but is always on, my mac is more secure, but wouldn't be on 24/7 (not staking 24/7).  What should I use?

I personally would use the machine which is always on. It allows you to have access to your coins at any time. Plus you could stake 24/7. Just make sure you secure it Smiley

In fact you could have the same wallet on both at the same time Smiley

I ended up having the same wallet on both machines.  Windows will be always on staking with a very long passphrase that is hardly used while mac will be actually used for transactions.

Quick question to have my wallet actually stake do I need to unlock it?  Also where does it say it's staking properly.

Webtorrents for adult entertainment actually sounds like a traffic magnet. Admins, please promise a place in your roadmap for this, maybe with a different name or just a subdomain but with purevidz, like - xxx.purevidz.net

I dont think purevidz.net should carry porn but I do like the xxx.purevidz.net idea a lot. Devs can it be done?

I third this.  It's heavily frowned upon (mainstream) to download porn (via torrent or websites).  Adding xxx.purevidz.net will allow premium porn content (via torrent of course) to be easily viewed by people that want the content but don't actually want to download a torrent to their computer. As long as it's curated and kept high quality I could see the popularity exploding.

Movies and TV shows are one thing but adding xxx.purevidz.net could triple our potential audience.

Porn is a huge audience and money maker.  This needs to be done.

Is porn really a money maker these days or it it just the live web cams girls that make money. Not talking about having free porn and making money on advertisements, strictly talking the porn industry, leaving purevidz out of it for a second.

The big money maker is the websites that host the porn.  The porn industry for the actors is not a very lucrative business (unless one is a porn star) it's the big sites such as pornhub (and purevidz?) that make a shit ton of money because of horny people looking for a quick nut.

They go to a place with ads and maybe even will pay a small amount of vidz to unlock some new high quality porn content (even though people could download it for free.  Then again idk the number of people that have the knowledge to obtain vidz, considering if one does have the knowledge to go on an exchange and obtain vidz they also most likely have the knowledge to just download the torrent.)

So I'm not to sure of paying for premium content using vidz would work too well but the mere addition of porn will undoubtedly increase ad revenue and make vidz even more useful (this increasing value).

When wallet Windows will be ready to download?

pretty sure the devs are asleep currently.

probably when they wake up....

Time to wake up!!! Smiley

They have 6 hours to release the wallet (according to their 24 hour timeline).  Lets not bug them unless the deadline is passed and no wallet is released.

Congrats dev!  Can't wait until the wallet is released, looking forward to getting my Vidz!  What is the timeline for bittrex?  Also I know poloniex is much harder and will only happen with higher volume but do you have it in mind/ have been talking to them?

How about everyone whining to end it right now shut the fuck up?  The more you post, the more attention this thread gets, the more bitcoin rolls in.  It's not that hard to understand.

Current vidz price is only 42 satoshi. That's really cheap if you ask me.

Well here comes the whales... will probably triple in these last hours.  Hopefully not Wink

Thanks I was wondering about this too, I think 2fa on any site where you may be storing something of value is an absolute must!

We will be avoiding allowing users to store coins on the site as much as possible. For example when placing a bounty on something, it will give you an address to send the coins to which will then process either returning to sender if not filled or sending to the user who fills the bounty. The site is not intended to allow users to store their coins on it.

I thought that bittrex were not adding assets that pays dividends (for some legal reasons) untill they have location based blocking for markets, it's why mineum or mycelium tokens didn't get in. Not sure if this counts as one though.

We do not pay dividends but rather have a policy in place on how fiat earnings are used to fund buyback and burn programs. There would be no policy in place that would block bittrex from listing the currency.

Question for the dev:  Will there by an actual client side wallet where we control the private keys?  You mentioned paper wallets but I find that impractical, are there plans for a windows/linux/mac wallet application?

Also have you talked to exchanges such as bittrex about getting approved on their exchanges?

We expect all users to use a private wallet. We will not be allowing users to store their coins on our site in the long term.

But you didn't answer my question.  Is a private wallet being developed?  I don't even see it mentioned on your roadmap.

You vtr fanbois are kind of dumb and sorry I just can't say anything nice because there is nothing. Read the post!!!!!! He clearly said, I quote "We expect all users to use a private wallet" unquote. Anyone with anything going on upstairs will take that as a yes there will be private wallets lololoolol

So mean dingle, such troll, such anger, such bla bla bla, idiots.

I just want to see a pic of the windows client sometime soon.  If the coin is being released right after ICO the windows client surely should be done by now no?

Very nice little trojan horse action from you here.

Pretending to be supporting both projects but at the same time fudding at every occasion.

 Roll Eyes

Lol what?  I have criticized VTR with the long development.  I don't blindly support anything.  Yes I am invested in both but I don't put my emotions first, unlike you.  I will not blindly believe in anything.  As an investor it's not crazy to ask for a picture of a wallet that is supposed to be released in 1 day.

seriously mate, go fuck yourself.....

you're just a fucking attention whore and those with 2 brain cells can see right through your little fucking game....

bitch...
"seriously mate, go fuck yourself....."

Wow very intellectual.  Yeah I guess "my game" is complete after I asked for a simple screenshot of the wallet and the dev delivered.
You're a very emotional person and I suggest not dealing in the crypto world.  Emotion will make you go broke..fast.

Take some advice:   Leave and don't come back.

Its got to have a regular wallet otherwise they dont get their money from the ico if I understand correctly.

Yes, there will be an actual client side wallet for you to have full control over your private keys. We highly advocate you use this and keep the majority of your VIDZ on your own infrastructure rather than on site.

Here are some screenshots,

A mac, and windows build will be provided when we're ready to launch everything.

Thanks for the screenshots!  I'll be investing more into this tomorrow.
