Just installed the new wallet. The "synchronising with network..." and "blocks remaining" windows are floating on its own.

But if you look at first btctalk pages of dead coins, you will see a lot of similar comments.
“To the moon”, “next BTC”, “in a few weeks”, etc.

Followed by “dev, where are you?”… then “any news?”… then “dead coin?”…

There is one difference however, usually the dev is more active in those threads.
So perhaps having the dev work on features instead of making hype is a good thing. [Unless he is creating yet another coin of similar nature under another newbie btctalk account]

It is interesting because there are no news, no roadmap, dev has a newbie account, while yet the price is pretty high and sale volume is high.

So I guess some people know more than me and are accumulating ASN preparing for huge news or are stupider than me and will be sorry in a few months.

Just look at what my dumping did! Lots of posts and serious buy walls.
Even the dump... Now there are some happy people who got cheap asn and the trend seem to be upwards now (if the walls temain)

All I want in return is transparency. Who is the dev/team, what are you working on?

And one last thing... The source code review is good... That doesn't necessarily mean our dev is a genius. Only that ASN is forked from a good stable wallet. I did ask what the coin was forked from, but this seem to be another secret... :-).

The coin price will decrease sub 100 in a matter of days/weeks.

What does this coin has to offer?

I don't know the dev, there is no roadmap, there is no community trying to push this forward, there is no hype, there is no transparency. Who is going to buy it? Right now there are some small buy walls from investors trying to sustain the price, but that will not hold without the news.

People will be selling it big time. Then I'll rebuy and go long term on this hoping for the best and probably will get more ASN than I had before selling.

My understanding is that ASN team is going to show new features only when they are ready. That's a good thing. I like it. But... it takes time to implement such features. So there will be long waits with this thread completely silent and that ain't gonna increase the price. Let's hope ASN will not get delisted from Bittrex due to low volume while we wait for the new features.

And most importantly, I feel deceived with the "news over the weekend" announcement so I thought I'll be nasty for a bit.

This info was not published until pow phase is over, so I think people where hoping for something substantial. Now that they know itis not going to happen, they will be selling cheap.

There is a possibility that devs are deliberately not making any hype to buy cheap. That is what I was thinking before. Now I am not sure. Perhaps there is really not much there. I don't even like the logo.

And the thread is really quiet. How would other investors will know about this coin if there is no hype? They wont.

There was no announcement at all (the wallet facelift was posted before the “this weekend” statement was announced, so it does not count)

We don’t even know who the person is behind the “Ascension Dev” is. We don’t know the goals of the coin. We don’t even know what’s in the works. How many people on the team?
What are short and long term goals? I’m not asking for the dates, mind you.

Today I bought 600k for 270 satoshi and dumped it down to 80 satoshi.
Lost about 1 BTC on it.

I am still supporting the coin, but I don’t like that there is no transparency. We don’t know anything…

However, keeping the promises is a really important thing.
It shows dev attitude to the project. And if promises are not kept at initial stage, when dev is usually quite active... Then what's going to happen later?

That's very fine with me. I am planning to go long term on this one.

What I'm mostly waiting for is the introduction of the team. I have some ideas on what projects some of the team members were involved in and so am hoping that there will be more dumps on my order before the announcement...
