41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 450k NWC tokens (10k $) BigONE competition on: November 04, 2019, 07:13:10 PM
https://bigone.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038232113-BigONE-Will-List-NWC-USDT-Trading-pair-Trade-to-Get-450k-NWC

The competition has only started for 3 days, and currently the NWC coins are being pumped up to 566% which is very amazing but I just said that only at the beginning of the first launch, but it won't be like that in the future.
yeah ... usually a week after being listed on the exchange, most of the altcoin prices will skyrocket, but after the hype disappears this will free fall and asleep on the floor for some time. Before that happens, just take advantage of this moment to gain more profit. But remember, never have a plan to hodl in long term.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover on: November 04, 2019, 06:14:31 PM
You can't judge projects by how they look, what matters is what they are here to fix in crypto space,i introduced a good privacy altcoin to my friends weeks ago and they neglect it because of its look, the name of the project is sero

~snip image~

How can someone judge a project because of its white&black inky look?the fact is sero is just more than its logo looks and its already trading at a very good price 0.33$ i think, while its ICO price was 0.01cent.

~snip image~

Crypto is full of mystery! sometimes what looks professional is scammer, but this is the opposite.
Dont know if youre updated still op or not but this sero coin is going zero to the floor.  Grin
~snip image~
If viewed from the history chart, it looks like this is pump n dump coin, of course the price is manipulation so there is no reason to buy this coin
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KRATSCOIN (KTC) new coin with serial number on: November 04, 2019, 05:46:12 PM
I just want to give a little explanation about new coins. it is KRATSCOIN (KTC). But only a little explanation, because the information does not yet exist. and I think this is still under development.
Kratscoin is an altcoin variant of bitcoin development. and have basic differences. if bitcoin is anonymous, KRATSCOIN will have a serial number on each unit. the main goal is to make tracking easy. because so far the main problem of bitcoin is anonymous. and Kratscoin will cover that. about the other that i read is. similarities in the mining system (ASIC Miner S9), a total supply of 21 million, and halving every 21000 blocks is the same as bitcoin. I hope if anyone has more information, please write here. because I also want to get other information about Kratscoin.
news source https://blockchainmedia.id/bitcoin-btc-tak-bernomor-seri-kratscoin-ktc-punya-solusi/

Kratscoin explorer: http://3.0.49.178/
Just add it together with the owner's personal data, so that it will make it even easier to track it, because if there is only a serial number it is still anonymous  Tongue
where can get this coin
Looks like this coin has not listed yet on any exchange, because I have try to search on coinmarketcap the results are nothing. Even browsing was not found.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Should Ethereum Add the "Frozen Wallet" Feature for Certain Adresss? on: November 04, 2019, 05:11:29 PM
As we know, there are currently many cases of crypto hacking, especially this often occurs in ERC20-based tokens. So to anticipate this, should Ethereum add the "Frozen Wallet" feature just for certain Adresss to their smart contract? I think this way can prevent the hackers to selling their loot. Although this method will change the crypto vision from "decentralization" to "centralization", but if this method is effective I think it's no matter.

What do you think?
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: November 04, 2019, 04:36:29 PM
As an investor or bounty hunter, you have dedicated either your funds or time for a pjoject and it turns out to be a fail project, what next?

Many at times we have come across this situations and I see a lot of negative posts from different bodies about this projects, y? Because people are hurt and have lost precious time and capital.

I suggest that whenever this situations arise, rather than telling the whole world how you messed up, tell yourself never again and pick up your pieces, go back to the drawing board and never repeat 🔂 that same action that lead you to following and supporting a failed / scam project in the first place.

Beware guys!
As you know, the most members in here joined in several bounty campaigns. So if one of them are scams, I think that is not big problem because they still have a chance in another campaign. On the other hand, even though a lot of time is wasted but it seems they don't care, because it's about free money, so everyone doesn't really think about it.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: November 04, 2019, 04:16:37 PM
Why China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time
~snip~
What's your thought on this?
It because China Coin is fully supported by the government, while Facebook isn't. If look at the Libra case, it seems that regulation is not the main problem, because I am sure they can easily to overcome this. So in my opinion, Facebook is always dealing with problems because it is related to business or personal interests. Considering that Libra is product of private company not government, so they will have trouble to control it if one day Libra is more attractive than the USD.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: November 04, 2019, 03:53:06 PM
With recent happenings in crypto currency regarding token sale, i think icos are beginning to find their feet because binance conducting the crowdfunding event for BitTorrent and Fetch.AI has raised the hyped again. And now, Bittrex has also announced a crowdfunding event too, an IEO, so can you give your opinion on whether IEO or ICO will survive on the long run
I think ICO / IEO will never die, but it will continue to evolve, considering the cryptocurrency industry is very much in demand.
My thoughts about initial exchange offering is that it will continue to excel and bring success to the crypto space. Unlike initial coin offering, where an investor will have to wait for a long time before trading his investment. There is also some sort of security because most big exchanges do their due diligence on a project before launching  it.
Although IEO is currently better than ICO, but there is no guarantee that it will last forever. Because there are plenty of cunning people out there who always take advantage of a few gaps for personal gain, and in the end IEO will be smudged like ICO.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lowest Deposit/Withdrawal Fee Exchange? on: November 03, 2019, 06:42:46 PM
BTC 0.0005 withdrawal fee in my opinion is standard and the same as some other exchanges. So it won't be a problem for me. If you want to get a cheap fee, you can use Altcoin like DOGE or XLM, because the cost is very little and faster. XLM withdrawal fee in binance is only 0.01 XLM, very cheap.
https://www.binance.com/en/fee/schedule
Why is the fee for withdrawing btc on the exchange not determined based on btc prices? even though it is only 0.0005 BTC, but if the price of BTC is equal to $100k, it is very large when converted to Fiat. Although this can be tricked by withdrawing using altcoin, but if the amount of withdrawals is very large this does not mean anything  Undecided
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 03, 2019, 06:25:05 PM
This is the reality nowadays, but I don't know if you agree or not.

As what I have observed since last year, lots of ICO investors are more excited and making some noise when a crypto startup announced that they will be listed in some exchanges.

I have browsed a lot of Telegram groups coming from various ICOs, IEOs and other forms of token sales. When they announce their partnership with a "XXX" company or they have launched their v2.0 of their product, it seems that the community are kind of less impressed and not excited about that.

Last year, there's an ICO where until now, they haven't listed in an exchange as they focused more on product development. It's like almost 2 years and they haven't listed their token yet in exchanges but they only give us a quarterly report on what they're doing with the product. It results for most investors to become impatient and demand their money back or getting listed to exchanges at least.

This is what I've been observing for now, the behavior of most investors who are expecting their returns or gains after the ICO is complete. What do you say guys? Agree with this or not?

Yeah right, even after the tokens are listed on the exchange, they are still angry because the price is very far different from the ICO. If like this, they should not choose to become an investor, but rather become a short trader after the token is listed on the exchange. Because basically, an investment requires a long period of time to return the capital and get a profit.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency on: November 03, 2019, 06:06:06 PM
China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency
The Chinese government is on a mission to keep people dependent on government-controlled currency.
China’s government has now devised a cockamamie scheme where they will use their central bank and commercial banks to distribute a newly created digital fiat currency
in an attempt to trick citizens into believing that they have cryptocurrency all in hopes that the people will use the digital fiat instead of real cryptocurrency and stay government currency dependent.
The fiat digital currency will be totally centralized and the plan is to replace the current currency, the yuan,
with the new digital currency which right now is being referred to as Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). The digital currency will be issued to commercial banks via the central bank, and the commercial banks will, in turn, be able to distribute it to the people.

If China made a digital currency with the aim to cancel out the cryptocurrency so that it could continue to be controlled by the government, I think no one will be interested, even to supporting it. Because basically, people choose the cryptocurrency because they want financial freedom (decentralization).
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eth is hacked ........ on: November 03, 2019, 05:47:00 PM
This is one reason why every exchange requires its users to verify KYC. In addition to avoiding money laundering also to prevent the sale of crypto assets that was hacked. Although this method is not fully effective, but at least can reduce the hacker's space.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: November 03, 2019, 05:12:06 PM
I have seen many exchanges have launched their own token like Binance with BNB, Idex with IDEX, Hotbit with HTB, Yobit with YO etc. where exchanges use their own tokens as another way to pay fees to support token. In addition to it, different strategies are used to create a hype like decrease in supply etc.
But if an exchange goes through a hard period of time and shuts downs then ultimately that token will come to its end because there is no community other than that exchange supporting the token simply because it has no usage outside the exchange.
According to me exchanges should promote the usage of their coins/tokens outside the exchange to build a community in support of it. If your community consists of huge individual entities who believe you then a great community can be formed. Otherwise lack of applications would lead these things to disaster.
There are many tokens out there that have no usability, even some of them have been abandoned by the developer, but the tokens still have value. So in my opinion, having "usability" or not, that's not the main problem. Because the value of the token is not determined by its usability, but by the community that is in it.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: November 01, 2019, 05:48:37 PM
As you know IEO trend is growing but i feel IEO is profitable only for those who invested in token sale but who have purchased altcoin after launched they suffer loss majority of the investors ,as the BTT and some other altcoin examples of IEO.
Both IEO and ICO not profitable today, IEO always have lower price after listing and ICO always delays for listing their coin after ICO sold out, now only trading altcoin or bitcoin and holding both them to get profit, left for investing with IEO and ICO because always dump price after both investment kind listing with exchange market, maybe have other investment kind at the future.
For this reason I stopped investing in ICO/IEO. Now I prefer to trade altcoin that was just listed on the exchange, because the hype is bigger so it's faster to get profit. e.g. like TCO, when it was first listed on Digifinex the lowest price is 27 sat, because have a big hype, a week later the price is rise up to 2600 sat. Just imagine how much profit you can get in just 1 week? Although there is no guarantee of profit, but at least my time is not wasted just for waiting until ICO/IEO ends and their tokens are listed on the exchange.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO exchanges not required KYC on: November 01, 2019, 08:55:08 AM
I like the cryptocurrency due to the privacy, i do not like to send my IDs to anyone even if it is popular and trusted websites, requesting KYC to participate in IEO is against privacy why i have to send my ID to participate in IEO!!
Most of exchanges launched their IEO platform required KYC.
Is there any exchanges run IEO and do not required KYC.

It seems nothing! But if you really want to take part in IEO without having to verify KYC, you can try it by participating in consortium (entrust funds to trusted people). This method is usually used by investors with small capital and investors who are concerned with privacy like you. Good luck  Wink
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto hell: the exchangers manipulation. on: November 01, 2019, 08:38:18 AM
Manipulation of trading volume is indeed a mistake that has not recently occurred. The real purpose I also do not really understand because there are many possibilities such as, want to raise the prestige of the exchange, want to ride the prestige of a coin, or may want to cheat someone. Whatever the reason, I think this is a mistake that should not be done.
Im joined project a month month ago and the dev do this manipulation. The price is raising but no buy order. Before they do this not much investor interested with this project but after people know the price raising at cmc they joined group. I think manipulation also they use for marketing strategy.
I think this is not pure manipulation, because the distance among buy and sell orders can be very far (this usually happens on altcoin that have low volume). Except, if the order book does not change, but the trade history continues to run, definitely there is a manipulation. Cases like this can be found on the p2pb2b exchange.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - ICO] ThinkCoin: Peer to Peer Multi Asset Trading on the Blockchain on: November 01, 2019, 08:09:03 AM
I have withdrawn my token from the dashboard, but until now I haven't received it. I have waited for 2 weeks, and there is no confirmation from them. Is there a solution for bounty participants to receive rewards? I have passed KYC.
Have you waited two years to get the earned tokens in the bounty campaign? I think it's a little weird...
Why ? I did this too, especially since the token was not traded anywhere ... Now I’m also thinking about when tokens will come to my wallet ...  Angry
Are you talking about bounty distribution? just watch this wallet, because all rewards come out from here https://etherscan.io/address/0xd88c0bbf10d53963e3b48344077e8d54a1954462. For those of you who have already claimed and verified the KYC but have not received yet the TCO, please be patient, because the distribution is done regularly. Even till now investors haven't received a purchase bonus, so don't worry about this.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your favorite trading movies? on: November 01, 2019, 07:53:29 AM
Does anybody have any awesome movie recommendations related to trading? These are the ones I've watched and really enjoyed

Trading Places
Wall Street & Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
Boiler Room
Rogue Trader
Trader (Paul Tudor Jones)
The Big Short
The Wolf of Wall Street

I think I've watched each one at least three times! if you have any others you suggest please let me know!
Thank you for the reference! Although I have never watched a movie like the one mentioned above, but I often find films related to "Bitcoin" One of them is the Korean drama movie "Voice 3", in one of the episodes there was a case where a Bitcoin trader killed himself because of the big dump like what happened in 2017 ago.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did 95% of traders fail and lose money? on: November 01, 2019, 07:20:21 AM
Here are 6 of my reasons, what about your thoughts

1. 80% of day traders give up within the first two years;
2.-
3.-
4.-
5.-
6.-
Point number one is the results of survey or just your own assumptions? Logically, if 80% of daily traders give up in the first two years, i am sure most of the altcoin would be to zero value. But in fact, there are still many altcoins who continues to growth until now, although there are altcoins that lose a lot of value, but not until zero (dead). On the other hand, when viewed in terms of daily volume, there seems to be no significant decline from the previous year. So, please stopped making fud.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: November 01, 2019, 02:56:44 AM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.
Actually in crypto space there are many good projects, but unfortunately there are not many investors who are interested, so the project failed and died due to lack of support. This can happen maybe because investors are frustrated, and prefer to invest in projects that are already running and proven performance.
