41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: July 18, 2015, 07:53:14 PM
After the BOOM of bitcoin, what was the low price it ever was?
I saw it was $124 going through all the threads from the past 2 years. Earlier than that, I wouldn't want to guess. Remember it being said it was $50 but that was at the btc rate increase.

State the country you are waiting for this to happen.

45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Modern Easy to Comprehend Explanation of Bitcoin on: July 18, 2015, 05:58:25 PM
I digress. Was introduced to it over a year and a half ago and have been using it for less than a year now. I have to say that I am a firm believer in it's success. But yes it is addictive because you are constantly watching the tickers.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your last purchase with bitcoin? on: July 18, 2015, 05:04:11 PM
I don't purchase anything with it. I try and save it, that is when I don't head to the casino to see if I can bring in an extra 0.005btc each visit  Cheesy
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay Forbids Bitcoin for Payments on: July 18, 2015, 04:59:59 PM
On Tuesday, Andy Shroder posted on Reddit that eBay Inc. had removed his merchant listing  because he accepted bitcoin for his products.

Quote from: ebay
Please understand that you mentioned you accept ‘Bitcoin’ as a method of payment. Some online payment companies are fairly new and inexperienced and they do not provide sufficient fraud protection to members. When we review payment methods to determine whether they are allowed on eBay, two key factors that we consider are ‘Security and Safety’ and ‘Ease of use.’ Please do not offer this payment method.

So, 'Hard of use' payment processor is guaranteed for the 'security and safety' and make all customer is comfortable Huh eBay must consider this, again.

In 2013
Quote from: John Donahoe CEO of eBay
It’s a new disruptive technology, so, yeah, we’re looking at bitcoin closely. There may be ways to enable it inside PayPal.

Roll Eyes

Your thought?

The answer is obvious. They are trying to protect PayPal market share. In the long run they will die like Blockbuster after not properly responding to Netflix

Innovation ensures a company's success. But the innovation has to continue or they could be in danger of being bought out by the competition.
Paypal seems to be stuck in their old ways and are susceptible to continue on into their downward sprial. It is just a matter of time before they go under.
They keep sending me promotions for $5 off your next purchase all the time, but I don't fall for their ploys for gaining customer loyality  Roll Eyes
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Why on this earth most of the post only related to Greece Crisis ? on: July 18, 2015, 04:49:06 PM
ok first of all, the OP and i are emphasizing on the point that the posts about Greece EVERYWHERE are annoying.  more than 80 percent of  the posts are about greece. I'm not saying do not discuss about it. But there is a llimit. It has been discussed  about a lot and it needs to stop. I think the threads have come up with enough solutions for Greece for a lifetime. There are many other topics to discuss about.
Well that is true. There are way too many threads/posts about it everywhere. I do agree with that part, and this hasn't even stopped yet.
However, there are no indications that the Greeks are buying a high amount of coins. Interest has been growing, but it is not like the Greeks currently have money to invest into Bitcoin.

Agree. In the forum there are to many threads about Greece and its crisis. I wrote in several on them. Agree too that this might be important if connected with the bitcoin. Seems that this is not relevant. Greeks wants the euro and Eurozone. Good for them. Maybe it is the time to end this discussion. Them had their money and will begin to correct their problems (if). That's all.
I see what your saying. If not bitcoin related then shouldn't be discussed further on a forum that should be for bitcoin only discussions(although if not in the right section). I agree there are too many topics on this and their fate has already been settled, and it is not in the future of bitcoin.

50  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] BTC for Perfect Money/OKPay/Paytm/NEFT on: July 18, 2015, 04:40:54 PM
Thanks for that update. It just makes it clearer for the buyer of what they are paying upfront before transaction takes place.
51  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Hardware or Scam on: July 18, 2015, 04:37:01 PM
I will go with the majority on this and say it is a scam.
Https is a secure way to make sure a company is legit because they pay hundreds of dollars($600+ from what I remember) to obtain that status every year.
52  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] BTC for Perfect Money/OKPay/Paytm/NEFT on: July 18, 2015, 04:21:02 PM
Will you take care of the fees if payment is sent by pm?
2% fee on $16.38, the seller will need to pay $0.33 on your 10% you are asking for of the current btc price=$276/BTC1 which the buyer will have to pay about $16.71 in total after perfect money takes their fees.
Change your original post to include this.
Most sellers do include this in their quotes in this subsection.

54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC business that exists today would make it easiest for WalMart and others? on: July 18, 2015, 04:35:57 AM
Bitpay because it works seamlessly. I tried a purchase and it went like this:
A bitpay window should come up where it will tell you an address to send your bitcoin to as well as the amount. It doesn't come up on your bitcoin wallet for you and complete the transaction. You have to open your wallet and copy+paste the values for the address to send to as well as the amount. No matter which wallet, as long as the bitcoin is received to that address on bitpay's end, your purchase will be completed.
How simple does that sound? I hope the bigger retailer such as Walmart and Costco will use this on their sites  in the realm of e-commerce going forward.

Waiting up to an hour for a BTC transaction in line at WalMart isn't ideal. Even minutes isn't good enough in todays fast paced world.

Do you think they would ever adapt if it means holding up lines? Not a chance in hell.
Why do these bitcoin debits card work then?
Just incorporate them together problem solved.
I would imagine the bitcoin Debit cards use the same network as how the credit card transactions are handled.
So yes it will work.
I send bitcoin from my wallet to a bitcoin casino, it is automatically there in as soon as I hit send from the wallet I see it is ready to use in my casino window. I start placing bets right away. Even if it is in a pending status, they are still usable on the site. You just can't withdraw from the site until it is out of pending state which makes sense.
When you make a purchase using you credit card, it works in the same way, sort of. It is in a pending state, until it is processed but the transaction has happened already. I call my credit card company and they say their is a charge but nothing is set as a purchase until it has been processed, can take 1-3 days to show up on their end as a completed process, or transaction.
Gas stations even put a hold on funds on your credit card if you pay at the pump to cover their losses if you decide to pump and run with out paying, they got you and put a hold of up to $150 on your card. Had this done to my card because the 1st pump didn't work (hold of $75 max of gas) so went to the next one, same thing a hold of another $75 was put on my card. Only found out when I got home and called the card issuer to see if they charged me because I heard about this happening on forums similar to this one but about cars.
They put a hold on funds of $150 for 3 days but nothing was processed in other words nothing was charged to my card. I didn't get anything from that visit.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the top at 309, then crash to 123 on: July 18, 2015, 04:14:27 AM
Well look how it has tumbled in a span of less than a week, just under $30 sitting at $280 for along time now(3 days is a long time on the bitcoin clock Cheesy ). All markets are down. Gold is at $1130, which I haven't seen it go that low in like a year. It seems that bitcoin does have a correlation to these markets after all.
Will expect it to keep tumbling until it reaches $200, $123 is too far fetched at this time.

Because it is the only country to default since Iceland declared bankruptcy and then Argentina before that. It has been over 10 years, and how it was handled it looked they were going to join that noted group.
Lucky for them they are in a union that has come up with a way to get what they have on their own best interests in mind. So they will get away with good amount of money on the backs of the mule Greece.
Again in 5 years you will see them in the same thing begging for more money and time. It is a vicious circle being in debt.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fixes a Greek problem – but not the Greek debt problem on: July 18, 2015, 03:56:29 AM
Countries that have the limit restrictions of how much is allowed out of their country is many. Even in 1st world ones, the limit to travel is $10,000. If they see more, they say you are trafficking or money laundering so they red flag you and confisiate that money.
The Phillipines  come to mind of which country uses the ease of the bitcoin network for transferring more than their allotted amount allows to their families.

Bid increases by 0.08 BTC so this is invalid. The next bid should be 0.51 BTC.

This bid increment is fine by op as op did not say anything againest of this bid and also he did not asked you to manage his thread

according to me this account can be soled at minimum 0.7 BTC to 0.8 BTC as the activity is 650 and it can become legendary adter 6 monthes  it is not guranted that i will become legendary exact after 6 monthes because you can become legendary between 700 to 1000 activity but atlest this account have a change to become legendary soon.

Either bid 0.7 BTC or stop post

I am already hero and i dont want to buy any account , if i wanted to buy i pay the amount i suggested above for this account and i share my openion so dont post crap to increase your post count

Don't have answers to any of the questions asked by OP becasue he hasn't been online since he posted.
In my eyes, this auction is closed. It is officially the 17th now, past the auction's close date. So the invalid last bid is not eligible?
