42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Activation of segwit via BIP141 = $10,000 overnight on: July 09, 2017, 02:45:35 PM
This is a bit unreal to be calling for, for one you're going to be asking for the miners to fix something that they do want to fix though when you think about it they're only going to be seeking the money. With the current congestion in the market it's best for them to just sit back and reap in the profits of HIGH TX fees alongside the 12BTC which is given per block. Also, even if we were to see something like this be activated with the miners blessing I just can't see the price going that high, seems A BIT insane and I can't see buyers still being around in droves for that.

44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why doesn't crypto have prediction markets yet? (Yes, I know Augur and Gnosis) on: July 07, 2017, 12:56:00 AM
In my opinon here, I'm going to be thinking the only reason that Bitcin / Cryptomarkets don't have prediction markets is cause you're not going to be able to predict these markets, think about it like this -- most of the coins that are big these days are going to be insanely premined already so predictors can only say that these people re going to be able to sell, they don't know when these people are going to make the big move to be able to go and sell. So to put it in short, you really can't predict this market.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: July 07, 2017, 12:41:07 AM
I think Bitcoin is going to be the most popular one due to the fact that it got to the market first, I know some are going to turn and say that other markets haven't been so keen on the first people in the market (thinking of IBM, Yahoo, AOL, etc and so on) but in the crypto world people are going to be very skeptical to be going into new markets. Bitcoin in itself is in insane thing to join in on, so you can't expect people to want to go anywhere else than a coin which is already insanely volatile -- other coins are even worse. I just hope Bitcoin innovates so we're going to be able to last.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 07, 2017, 12:24:30 AM
That's one of the questions that's going to be highly subjective, so some people on here who are already in on Bitcoin are going to be the ones that come out and say that this is going  to be the time before the moon blast off, the only people that are going to contradict these people are going to be the ones which want to see Bitcoin come down a bit so they're going to be able to buy it. No one knows the answer to that, this is going  to end up being the worst place to seek advice on this. Never know bud!
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: July 06, 2017, 11:12:02 PM
While more and more people are going to be using this line, it still isn't going to be true. Bitcoin can't keep going up and up like it has been for the past couple months, I just can't see an area where there are buyers who will continue to allow for this STEEP fucking incline to occur and for people to keep buying into it, it just doesn't make sense when it comes down to it. If we all want Bitcoin to succeed in terms of people adopting it and and not just a few select people making some good money. We're going to need to get the volatility down, cause once that's down people are going to want to be involved in Bitcoin as they feel whatever they put in is going to be able to be used for that same FIAT amount, not like they're going to lose 30 percent of their investment in an instant which is the thing that scares MANY PEOPLE AWAY from involving business on here.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to regulate bitcoins? on: July 06, 2017, 08:29:16 PM
Governments have the ability to regulate anything, some of you on the forum may think we'll the government cant stop the tech and the miners from doing their jobs. Well that's not the way government would attempt to hurt us, they'd be doing scummy thing such as making buying harder, more regulations on the businesses that conduct the buying and selling (exchanges) which would fuck them up very hard and could cause these companies to just leave the entire crypto world. It's tough to think about a government doing that, and I do understand that it is-- but if the government is being faced with losing a lot of it's power they'g going to use some insane methods to be able to hold onto it. So yes, it is.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Toxic Blockstream/Core/Segwit are done. on: July 06, 2017, 06:26:35 PM
Yeah you can't just come on here and make such ab absurd claim like this, and even if Satoshi did come back (which he won't) I highly doubt he'd be disavowing these projects anyway. He'd probably have a lot of catching up to do and he'd note that Bitcoin has gone through a lot since his departure and he'd leave it to the community, like it was setup to happen in that sort of situation. So, this is FAKE NEWS and I'd just ignore it if you're a normal person / newb who is trying to get their news from this shitty source. YOU'RE DUMB KID.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: July 06, 2017, 05:46:42 PM
The risk in investing bitcoin is almost the same as in other types of investments. The main rule is not to put all the money in one basket. But bitcoin has a very good feature in the form of a fantastic price increase and you do not need to miss this opportunity.

investment always has risks. But investment in bitcoin has a very high risk, but profits are also very high. While gold the risks are very small and profits also not so great.
I think investment in bitcoin as gambling due to the fluctuating price. but for the long term is good and so far, the price movement of bitcoin is very positive and continue to rise

While this could be true, it may not stand true for a long amount of time. Think about it when it comes to Bitcoin, it's not like we've always seen price rises. So depending on the time in which you bought in, it could HIGHLY risky. Though it doesn't really matter, the biggest problemwith Bitcoin is going to be the volatility every single day-- and I'm not one of the many people on here that think that this is all going to end up with a net positive. I personally think that it would be better for Bitcoin to hold at a certain price, though that's not something a lot of the traders and others that are in here for the money want to see.
51  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: when I invest in genesis-mining on: July 05, 2017, 01:33:42 AM
At this time dude, I wouldn't be doing anything along these lines with your money. Everyone here says that Genesis is one of the companies that is trusted, and I'm not going to try to refute that notion but think about it for a second. Genesis is a company which has miners, we all know what they want to make as much money for themselves-- their a business with investors in the end and they're only going to cater to their investors. So you may think buying a lifetime plan or whatever bullshit from them is going to be able to make X amount of money, and it's just not going to do it, cloud mining is going to not be profitability or it's going to be a scam. Pick your poison I suppose.
52  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin making people an Introvert on: July 05, 2017, 12:23:23 AM
I don't think a currency in itself should be changing how you are as a person socially, I label myself as somewhat of the two. At some points I'm a bit of an extrovert and at some points I'm an introvert, though I still use Bitcoin and all that. I don't use it as much as I used to, but it's not like I'm not involved in the community itself. So to make a bold claim like this you should have some sort of study backing you up, as this is something that isn't just going to be able to be unanimously consented by everyone here to be true as I doubt everyone on this forum is an introvert. Nor do I think everyone who uses Bitcoin is one either.

I don't think introverts are bad and extroverted are good. If you give the introvert the right attitude and the knowing why things work that way,  you would see there is not much difference between the two.

Introverts tend to be views as quiet and reserved and having closed social circle,  but that is still socialising. I considered myself an introvert and hated parties and big groups. But I changed, I seen that it's kind of easy to be extrovertita if you want to...  but there is a good trait in being silent and reserved, as is a sign of being smart. Bitcoin giving a new vision for everyone.

Also this, I don't think one is better in the least. Both personalities are good in their own ways.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner: Where to move forward on: July 04, 2017, 11:27:29 PM
Here's the biggest thing when it comes to cryptos, the money that you put in now could be worth nothing in an instant. The amount of volatility that you're exposing this money to is actually insane-- like comparable to the 2008 mortgage meltdown when the stock market crashed insane amounts in one day. So if all you're going for is around 5 percent (guessing yearly?) you could just go ahead and setup an account for an index fund which is going to be following the US stock market. Given you're going to be up for selling that Bitcoin and going into the stock market, you're going to be getting less risk and less reward but I'd rather do something like this then get into a red hot bull market which is probably just going to come crashing down at any instant.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Biggest problem you have with trading / exchanging? on: July 04, 2017, 10:47:04 PM
My biggest problem is going to have to be managing emotions, it's been something that I've had issues with for awhile when it comes to my money. It's tough for me to see losses and I try to minimze them and fall into the shitty trade trap of buying high and selling low, which is someting that a lot of others do when they're trading as well. I miss the boat on a lot of good trades and it really fuckes me up when I notice what could've been out of all of this. Another one of the minor issues I had was accounting for the exchange fee which is bound to be there, you're going to have to notice stuff like this to be able to be a good trade, handling emotions and allowing yourself to lose a little with the chance to win  out on a lot is also FUCKING VITAL. There ya are bud, good luck!
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better: Trading Forex, Stock, Metal or Crypto? on: July 04, 2017, 10:09:14 PM
All of this is going to be something that's based on personal preference, you can't seem to like one of these more than the others as you're going to be a bit biased when it comes to picking the one you like the most as you're going to be making a little bit more money off of one of them, it's something thats bound to happen. All of these are going to be open to a high amount of risk though, I think the highest in the list itself is going to have to be Crytpo and Forex (given with Forex you're using some sort of amplifier) Stocks and metals are things that are going to be safer, this is dependednt on the ones that you're picking but across the board this is a safer bet for people who want safer rewards, and less risk. PERSONAL PREFERENCE BUD
56  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IT'S OVER: NEW REPORT JUST EXPOSED UNBELIEVABLE IRS FRAUD,IT’ TRUMP IS GOING ... on: July 04, 2017, 09:16:11 PM
I'd be hoping that something of this caliber is going to be coming from a trusted source in news, I'm not saying there is much really there when it comes to trusted sources in the Mainstream Media these days but it would be nice to see this from a non youtube small shitty channel. Also, you're going to be pushing people away with the really clickbait title here. This is going to be something that should be vetted by people that actually know about the subject matter, throwing Trump into the title is going to get some clicks but it's not going to get you anywhere when you want to be an established news site. Gosh, get this garbo out of this section.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Milestone for bitcoin?? on: July 04, 2017, 08:44:33 PM
I think the only milestones that people on here and the entire bitcoin community should be worrying about is going to have to be expanding in general, at the moment we do have a lot of users -- that's not something I'm not even going to try to deny that. But if we're going to be comparing ourselves to Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Paypal, and so on and so forth we're not even going to be making a dent in their stuff. We're going to need to fix bitcoin and innovate to be able to get more people along with it, people aren't just going to come cause we say it's cool and all-- fees need to be lowered, continuing to fix the network congestion, faster tx, and so on and so forth. That's all from me.s
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many country recently accept btc? on: July 04, 2017, 06:12:10 PM
None of the governments of the world actually go forth and accept Bitcoin, they may allow it to be used within the country or just not be involved in regulation altogether over it but they still don't accept it for any governmental usage. You're not going to be able to pay your taxes in bitcoin, police fines, court fees, and so on and so forth. That's the big difference between a country ACCEPTING bitcoin as a currency and accepting BITCOIN as a payment for governmental usage. The government is never going to accept Bitcoin, the only way I could think of them thinking about is if they note that they could be making more revenue with Bitcoin and it isn't going to cost them more then the revenue being brought in.

59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: July 04, 2017, 05:41:48 PM
It could, and in theory anything could go ahead and achieve this goal. Though I can't actually see anything like this ever coming to fruition in the near future. I know that there is a ton of money and business behind crypto succeeding, but have you ever seen the amount of money that is behind FIAT currencies and everything surrounding them, we're not just going to be able to tap into that market without an issue in the least. And lets just say we're able to get some people to join in on the train here, Government is going to be bought and paid for in order to regulate the living shit out of us. They're going to make all the casual users run, and run far away they will. So no, it'll never happen.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 August 2017, Does everyone think it is effect to bitcoin price or not? on: July 04, 2017, 05:07:56 PM
Bound to see anything like this affect the price, no one is going to know the scope of what is actually going to happen as the miners could just be the ones to step back and not actually end up doing anything, this could've all just been a hoax to be able to make some good money for some people who would love to see the community panic / shake in their boots. If something does happen and it very well could, we could end up with a major price shift up and down all day for the next couple days, we're going to see some insane volatility - like more then usual when it comes to Bitcoin. But who knows, we're going to find out in less than a month now, good luck!
