We put the game live last night at 23:10 and when midnight rolled around (so 50 minutes later) all the top scores were held by people we know who helped us test. As such, we skipped last night's payout ... if you think we somehow cheated you, let me know why you think so and I might comp you.

Depends what you mean by this. We will give you 2 weeks of support, meaning that if you want to make changes, I'll tell you where you have to make them and how they should be made. I'll even review your changes for you to make sure that things look OK. However, your changes are your changes and they will not be supported by us. If your changes happen to break something fundamental (unlikely but possible), I'll take a look but won't commit to fixing things for you.

Assuming you're using something like git and are careful, it should be pretty easy to keep track where things went wrong (in the event that they do).

Looking at the transaction log, it shows 2 separate transactions, each at the correct amount. The only conclusion I can draw from this, is that you accidentally managed to click the button twice (my mouse sometimes does that by accident). I'll add some code to disable the button after the 1st click.

We're monitoring the situation and we're pretty sure that most winners have not dumped their coins onto the markets. Even if they did, total winnings from the raffle amount to about 8K coins so far, clearly more than that were sold. We're subject to the market like everybody else and we'll just have to bear it. Like I said before, we're in this for the long haul and have a solid business plan; people dumping their coins now may be sorry a few months from now. For what it's worth, we're all holding our coins and stakeholders are doing the same.

Thank you for your faith. One more factor to consider is that we (the Rubies team) are basically married to the coin in terms of income. Stakeholders receive the bulk of the site's BTC income and if Rubies does not do well, we'll feel the pain directly ourselves. So we have all the motivation in the world to make Rubies the most successful we can.

Rubies is not a pump and dump coin. We're here for the long term and prefer slow, steady & natural evolution to a quick pump followed by a massive collapse. The current price movement is not what we want to see, but it's all part the normal evolution of a coin. We've only been here for a month, give it some time and be patient.

Yes, all BTC bets will be fully counted towards the bet-mining payouts.

This is an option under consideration but no real decision has been taken yet. As such it may materialize in the future or it may not. We are investigating a number of options to expand the BetterBets site.
