42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BustaCoin - Crowd Sourced bustabit-lite litecoin casino on: December 29, 2017, 10:55:25 PM
Since you are not affiliated with bustabit, you might want to change the title of your post to have it say LTCrash instead. Just giving you a heads up.

Not a grammar natzi but for credibility
"Update (28 dec 22:45) In accordance with the owner of bustabit.com (@Ryan) i've decided to change the name for this project to LTCrash.com. This is to prevent people of thinking bustacoin is affiliated to bustabit, witch is not the case. This project is an independent project by bustabit-gamers and -lovers.
"

should be which

I agree with you on credibility. OP, you should look into hiring a proofreader before you post updates / for tweaking content you write for your project in the making. Having no grammatical errors looks more professional and could make your project more appealing to future investors and players. Smiley

If OP is reading, I would love to help out in this regard.

I was a pretty big referrer for betcoin, made a list of improvements for taking the platform mainstream, then they apparently sold.  Improvements would be an assset to this tooooo

48  Economy / Gambling / Who bought Betcoin Poker? on: December 29, 2017, 06:47:36 PM
recently Betcoin poker was sold... Anyone have any deeper info?  I thought they had the  best Bitcoin poker out there, wondering if a competitor might have bought them up to desolve them, maybe a big player is going to enter the bitcoin transaction market, or something?  I noticed a few PR moves regarding old events, perhaps someone has bought them and has plans for a future development?
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin to you? Is it the same as it was when you got started? on: December 29, 2017, 06:45:37 PM
When i got started with  Bitcoin the transaction fees were nothing, changetip was a real thing, i could send $2 for 0.00002 etc.  It made sense for merchants to accept it for B2C transactions and it added value to everyday.  Bitcoin today does nothing like this.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin to you? Is it the same as it was when you got started? on: December 12, 2017, 11:06:31 PM
Good call.  I see it as a platform for development.  I think we will use apps that use the Bitcoin blockchain for functionality in regards to spending and such.  Curious to see how others feel.
51  Economy / Gambling / Re: mBit Casino is Insecure on: December 12, 2017, 11:03:45 PM
Thanks for your input.

That is shady as fuck... Funny part is I run an affiliate site, and all the mentioned URL's above haven't paid a dollar, yet every other listing has.  Gotta love the shady fucks.
52  Economy / Gambling / mBit Casino is Insecure on: December 12, 2017, 09:41:59 PM
I signed into mBit casino yesterday.  To my surprise my password and email were posted into the URL bar.  Not up and up on my tech but having text outline the login information in it's entirety seems prettry insecure, and I am kind of pissed off to be honest.

Anyone else see this?
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: November 14, 2017, 09:23:32 PM
Because it was 1st to market, it's got the widest adoption and that offers it's proprietary transparency.

Bitcoin is used because people use it.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is Bitcoin to you? Is it the same as it was when you got started? on: November 14, 2017, 09:20:31 PM
Curious what Bitcoin is to everyone here!  We all have a personal subjective vision of what it should be, and I am curious where everyone sits.

I used to think Bitcoin was a digital platform for micro transactions and B2C spending.  Back in the day of Changetip and reddit micro tips... I always thought Bitcoin was the online currency that allowed me to send 10 cents, quick and for relatively no fee.

That has changed now, and Bitcoin is moving in another direction which is cool to see.  Its kind of moving away from what I originally thought it was, a tool of empowerment for small sending over large distances.

I now see Bitcoin as a platform for development.  I think in the future we will be spending Bitcoin, but it will be a development on the Bitcoin blockchain. I think we will use it as a store of value, a tool for investment and a way to interact and sell things safely online, but also a means to store information in a transparent, accessible way.

I think Bitcoin is not even close to where it will be in 10 years, but I am curious what everyone elses vision is.  Clearly the Bitcoin miners have a different vision that a merchant processing tool, which is different than the big Bitcoin holders, etc.

What is your ideal Bitcoin?
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Physical Bitcoin Price Ticker for my shop on: October 30, 2017, 10:18:09 PM
You're probably looking for something like this: https://github.com/internetblacksmith/scrollphat-bitfinex right?
It's pretty easy to make, but you might want to buy the new version of the Scroll pHAT that has more LEDs and will be more legible in your shop, and look better overall:
https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/scroll-phat-hd
Not sure what changes you'd have to make to the code to make it work though.

Thanks a bunch for the resources, I will check these out right now.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Physical Bitcoin Price Ticker for my shop on: October 30, 2017, 09:34:21 PM
We accept Bitcoin... I want a live price ticker that generates buzz.

Any idea on where to learn how to make one or buy one online?  Saw these made with raspberry pi before, lost them and not crazy tech oriented.

Thanks!

I won't be back
- snip -

Ok, bye. It was nice of you to stop by. Thanks for letting me know you're leaving, I appreciate it.

- snip -
I will be out of here soon.  This place deserves no participation.

Oh. You're still here?  Ok.  Though you left already.  Well, thanks for stopping by again.  Bye.

- snip -

Oh my.  You're still here.  Did you change your mind and decide to stay after all?

- snip -
Don't worry I am still packing up!
- snip -

Ah, ok. I didn't realize you brought so much luggage with you. I assume you'll be moving on soon to make room for whomever is arriving next, so that they can use the space that you're freeing up with you packing?

- snip -

Still packing?  You are only taking your own things with you, right?  I didn't remember you bringing so much when you arrived.

- snip -

Still here?  I mean, it was nice of you to announce your departure, but I think we'll be ok without you now.

- snip -

This is getting ridiculous.  Perhaps if I leave you some negative feedback, it will make it easier to leave?  I know it's difficult to abandon the nest, but everyone has to grow up and move out eventually.

- snip -

I thought the purpose of this thread was a final "goodbye" before leaving, and yet here you are still posting.  If you had left like you said you would, then you wouldn't even know that there were any posts to respond to.

- snip -

I think you've made it amply clear that we can't believe the things you say. I'll try to remember in the future that announcements from you about leaving are simply intended as a way to grab some attention for yourself because you are feeling lonely or bored.

Thanks for the attention!
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you continue to support r/bitcoin and bitcointalk.com on: September 15, 2015, 03:18:47 AM
I think mostly because this is the most established forum. There are still plenty of new other places to talk also.

Very true!
