41  Economy / Lending / Re: Would like a 5BTC loan on: March 25, 2012, 10:46:45 AM
Instead of making a beeline to the Lending section right after you break out of Newbie status, like every cookie-cutter scammer does, why don't you head over to one of the technical discussion forums and learn a little more about how Bitcoin works before risking your money (or worse, someone else's)?
I had no idea that the method you described is used by scammers. If that's what it takes to prove that I'm not a scammer ,then so be it. I just figured that a smallish loan would be low risk for everyone and me to help establish credibility.

I don't know about the shoe thing (as I'm rather new here), I plan to pay off my debt by selling things to pay that off.
42  Economy / Lending / Would like a 5BTC loan on: March 25, 2012, 12:09:28 AM
Hi
I'm a relatively inexperienced member who wants to give bitcoin a go.I'd like a 5BTC loan just to get started.I can pay back within a week.I'll need this to be interest free (as I have no real experience with lending/taking out loans) .I want to show that I can handle loans properly (not be a scammer or be late) by taking out small amounts to try out the lending system here and see how it differs from a traditional bank.

Send to the address in my sig for now if possible

44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wanna get to grips with selling on here on: March 24, 2012, 11:31:20 PM
Frankly, the pre made Dropbox accounts are useless IMHO. People are selling fully loaded Dropbox accounts for about the same price as yours, with around 10 fb available. Anyone could create a anonymous Dropbox account for free.

Guess it's time to lower the price then.Maybe around 0.4btc instead per account

I want to sell some Dropbox accounts I was given.

For more info,read this:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=73676.msg817469;topicseen#msg817469

Prices are typically around 0.5 to 1 Bitcoins.

These accounts have 2.25GB as standard and can be easily expanded.
These accounts are pre-made so no need to give up personal details to make one and enjoy Dropbox while being anonymous Smiley

Update-Prices are now 0.4bitcoins (ignore the old pricing in my main thread). Sale ends soon

I'm currently selling pre-made Dropbox accounts so that people on here can have (as close to) full anonymity as well as having online storage with the same benefits as a normal user.
Read more here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=73676.0

If youo like it please buy by PM'ing me or by posting a reply in the thread above and I'll accept payment and give the account details via PM.Please spread the word Smiley
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [gauging interest] Selling pre-made Dropbox account for Bitcoin on: March 23, 2012, 08:20:02 PM
I've never used Dropbox. Are they hard to create using fake information?
What kind of storage do yours have? And what do they normally come with?
And is it easy to change the password and change the reset method so you can't ever access it again?

They're not too hard to create with fake info. For your convenience,I'm selling some pre-made ones. All the accounts I sell offer 2.25GB.Normally they have 2GB.
Yes,you can change password and email so it cant be accessed again by me as I won't need access once sold. To change these details, click your username in Dropbox, then click settings and follow the on screen instructions. It's actually quite straightforward.

Benefits to my service:
1.You will already come ahead of people who signup for free (as these Dropbox accounts I sell have 2.25GB to start off with)
2.You can have (almost) complete anonymity while enjoying the same convenience of Dropbox without divulging any personal details of yours.

I hope this helps answer your questions. If you wish to buy,PM me and I'll give you a bitcoin address to send funds to,agree on a price (within the range indicated in my OP) and then give you the login to your pre-made account

54  Other / Beginners & Help / [gauging interest] Selling pre-made Dropbox account for Bitcoin on: March 23, 2012, 07:52:03 PM
Hi,
I may be a new member but I wish to do something interesting and sell pre-made Dropbox accounts so that people who want the space but don't want the hassle of making an account or giving their personal details can now have a Dropbox account without giving away personal details. How is this possible? Well I was simply given them from before as they were once donated to me.

Well enough of that, would you be interested in buying these if you could have your cake (online storage space) and eat it as well (be anonymous)?
What price would seem reasonable to you? I'm thinking anywhere from 0.5 to 1 Bitcoin.

If interested, please PM me to buy, thank you. Smiley
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Bitcoin Interface/GUI - Feedback Wanted! on: March 19, 2012, 10:22:41 AM
Too big with too much white space. The same complaint I have with the Qt version, it can't resize

which part of this photoshop mock-up makes you say it's not intended to be resizable?

it's easy for me to imagine the menu sticking to the left and the right hand part stretching to fit.

Now I might think it's resizable:

I like this design. It's beautiful and resizeable.

As long as bitcoins aren't recognised as a currency, why worry about tax? I'd say,sit back and njoy the ride. Smiley
