I can see that fungibility is a very important aspect of both a money and a decentralized programmable platform.
I think Ethereum would be better off to just let the thief make off with the coin. Try somehow to allow for tracking so they can bust him. But a rollback or software fix is the end but Vitalik has already made that statement. Ouch.
Agreed it hurts but it's true

I think there are two options : 1. Hard fork which leads to l lose trust to ether because every time another hard fork can be happen 2. Let the attacker to have ethers. Which then i will be proud to be a part of this community which holds the rules that made from. But a huge dump will occur by the attacker ... so i choose to sell 50℅ and hold 50% Anyway this is my opinion and I am a newbie to ethereum so forgive me if i am wrong

Suppose 1gr gold as 50$ and investment for 1gr bar as 100$, so 5000 gb must be about 50$ or 0.01$ for each gb. In this regard any price lower than 1500 satoshi for each gb does not worth to invest. Am i right? Or i missed something?
Yes u missed 2 things: First you just missed a fact that price can only go up, (700 sat is funny for 6M total coins in circulation) when we take in calculations, facts and plans for GB, which i suppoused you don't really follow. Second you missed security and shipping cost to your home address, (it's a gold after all) unless you want to receive just some kind of virtual gold. Thanks for asking, its good to have some conversation here. I got your points. Thank U.

@dev The price of 1gr gold is about 46 USD, why should I invest 100$ for 1gr bar?
To make a profit. For the rest you will get GoldBlocks coins. Suppose 1gr gold as 50$ and investment for 1gr bar as 100$, so 5000 gb must be about 50$ or 0.01$ for each gb. In this regard any price lower than 1500 satoshi for each gb does not worth to invest. Am i right? Or i missed something?

Has anyone received any gold at home from this?
Store is not open yet, its 2 weeks old coin. So investing has not started yet. @dev The price of 1gr gold is about 46 USD, why should I invest 100$ for 1gr bar?

what is happening ? 0.8 BTC for 1 BRK is toooooooooooo much! did i miss something? This is a token representing the total amount invested, then the coins will be shared among investors in relation to total amount invested , no 0.8 doesnt mean 1 BRK , it means 1 share. Which is equivalent to 1 btc . but for the first hour there is a 25% bonus , so right now it is 0.8 per share instead of 1-1 to account for the 25% bonus . Depending on total amount invested will determine how many coins each person get and how much that individual bought Thank you . I bought !

Anyone can upload the miner and give a example bat file? Please.
Look at this Here are two methods to solo mine
Method 1
Launchbikercoind and let it sync Launch simplewallet and select G to generate a new wallet Type start_mining at the simplewallet console "By default the miner will mine using only one core. To mine with more CPU cores type the number of cores after start_ mining" Example: start_mining 4 You are now mining with 4 CPU cores To stop mining type stop_mining in the simplewallet console To see your balance type balance in the simplewallet console
Method 2
Launch bikercoind and let it sync Type start_mining your-address number of cores in the bikercoind console Example: start_mining bicksrxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxx 4 You are now mining with 4 CPU cores to the address you specified Using this method you can use any address you want including the address generated with the GUI wallet There is no need to have the wallet open to mine To stop mining type stop_mining in the bikercoind console
Useful commands are:
Typing show_hr will show your hashrate when typed in the bikercoind console Typing help in either the bikercoind or simplewallet console will give you a list of the commands available
Other information:
The blockchain is stored in the same location as other coins. For Windows that will be "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\bikercoin" The GUI wallet will store the wallet file in the same directory as the blockchain by default. If you create a wallet with simplewallet that wallet will be stored in the directory where simplewallet is located You can open any wallet file with the GUI wallet by going to File - Open Wallet and browsing to the wallet file location

merging Bytecoin branches .. Hopefully you have something new in your mind ... watching + a little solo mining

Solo mining is working!

according to explorer, Top 1 has only 1750 TIA and I solo mined 8 blocks (200 TIA) with CPU in about 4 hours. It seems we have a fair lunch with a tiny pre-mine coins. Good luck Devs I will mine TIA when I get my new GPU

Same Error:WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers.

Any news from BYC wallet 1.4 or 2?
|
|
|
Personally I see that as a good distribution but I feel for anyone who bought high and is watching the price drop day after day.
I am one of them but since I learned something (learned painfully of course) I am happy and I will avoid such mistakes in future

I got a weird error I moved my wallet and blockchain files to a new windows. When I tried to mine I got this message! (the first windows was shutdown) " You must use one wallet per computer to mine" This means I cannot mine on my wallet in different windows! If it's true what does the wallet backup means!? If sometimes I enforced to change my windows what should I do?

Pretty sure its 0.01.

thank you POB is pegged to BYC/BTC and BTC/USD value.
If BYC/BTC rise, POB is getting lower, if BTC/USD rise POB is getting lower too.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
you're right
