41  Economy / Securities / Re: Solo Mining Group Buy? on: December 20, 2015, 03:02:35 AM
Sounds great! What's the best way to round up some folks?
42  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Preferred Mining Diff for specific miners? on: December 19, 2015, 10:54:21 PM
When you say network bandwidth, do you mean bitcoin network or the miners own network?  I've got Google Fiber being installed in a month or so. With a 1Gb connection, would it be smarter or benefit in any way to raise or lower the difficulty on my miners?
43  Economy / Securities / Re: Solo Mining Group Buy? on: December 19, 2015, 04:25:49 PM
That would be 425-450 TH/s for 24 hours or so correct?
44  Economy / Securities / Re: Solo Mining Group Buy? on: December 19, 2015, 04:32:47 AM
Thanks notlist3d!  I'll get in touch with Phil. Anyone interested if we can get Phil on board?  I'm willing to put up .5 BTC on the venture.
45  Economy / Securities / Solo Mining Group Buy? on: December 19, 2015, 02:37:55 AM
So I've got an idea, don't know if it's a good one or not.  Wink What would stop someone from getting together a group buy to purchase hash on NiceHash to solo mine on ck's solo pool?  You could potentially, and I use that word loosely, get a pretty good payout if you could get a lot of hash together.

1.  Is anyone interested? We would have to use an escrow since no one would trust me as a noob.. Grin

2.  Would it be smarter to buy a LOT of hash power for a little time or moderate hash for longer time?
46  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mining on an S3 with 51.1 Difficulty - here we go! UPDATE: Block Found!! on: December 17, 2015, 05:30:22 PM
Nice hit! Is ck's solo pool in the US or Europe?  I've never used NiceHash or MiningRigRentals. Which one is better?

49  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Idea to extract hot air for better cooling efficiency on: December 13, 2015, 08:35:57 PM
I saw somewhere that a guy was 3d printing a mold that fit the ends of the 'S' Series Bitmains that you could attach tubing to. I'll look for it and post it here.  I'm curious to see how this works.  I have plans to deploy an S7 in my garage in the next few weeks, but once it's not winter anymore, I'll have to pull it inside.  Don't have a lot of room, so I'm curious on how you are getting the air outside?  Dryer vent 'Y' adapter?

If you dont mind me asking, how much is hosting per miner at Toom.im?  It seems that a lot of people on here use them.

53  Economy / Service Discussion / Google Fiber and Full Bitcoin Nodes/Mining on: December 04, 2015, 10:17:25 PM
Hello everyone!  I'm getting my Google Fiber installed in the next few weeks and was wondering if there was anything I could do to help the Bitcoin community other than running a full node.  I've got an S7 that I'm mining with, that I'm thinking about going solo with. Will the extra bandwidth help with the solo mining? Thanks!

So will this coin be on Bittrex in 5 hours?  What happens when the countdown ends?  Sorry, new to all this. Thanks?
