Just want it launched so I can play with it! I am still amazed that people in the coin world do not get that these wallets need to be able to be open and used to create commerce so that the average everyday person can use them. If that is not made true, coins will go nowhere except the exchanges to be speculated on.
Mass adoption through ease of use is the only path for coins to make it in the world, otherwise they are just play things for geeks and piggy banks for smart whales!
You couldn't be more right, in fact Andreas Antonopulos does a great talk about this on one of his talks. IOC is heading in the right direction, for sure we will see a shake out in the coming years to determine what can felicitate real growth for blockchain technology, and what is simply future speculation. Because at the end of the day the future is just that, the future. We need tools for today and I strongly believe IOC is just that. +100 Joel and the ioc team are way ahead of many in this spa ce, many people are used to only the qt wallets, online wallets or web wallets. DioNS brings something new and exciting in the space The only people are fuddin are the devs from other coins with their testicles in a twist becuase they cant get a hand out so thy can use it on their shitcoin project. Ioc is the real deal. If i was the ioc team i would never open source this. Make them work for it! |

It's the game and the role of databits which gives databits its value. It's going to be easy assessment when the beta comes out.
When beta comes out? I think we will wait for some time for that. First we would love to see Alpha. Also all asset we bought in ICO distributed and what is lest burned. And a More detailed timeline. I did expect We wold get new detailed timeline in April, but I guess my speculation was a bit off. No doubt about it, the guys are working every hour possible, the Team here has been open and also clearly has the best interests at heart for its investors. Alpha is scheduled for June and i am sure we will see Alpha by then, please keep in mind this is a BIG task for the team and the fact it is their dream, so they will want to make everything as perfect as possible. I am sure they will update once they have more solid dates in mind. Till then keep spreading the word for Augmentors! |

Has no clever person at aeternity had the AMAZING IDEA of saying there wont be phase 2?
There was a lot of btc and eth raised, why not scrap phase 2. Youd see a flood of new investment, x50 more than you will see with p2.
And youd gain a hell of a lot of trust and respect.

Fuly agree, i think everyone here is really looking forward to the long awaited DioNS wallet. Like anything in Crypto, when it comes to innovation, they are always going to be "spaners in the works" and things that throw up annoying Bugs, so looking on the positive side, for every Bug/problem that is worked out, is valuable information and skills for the future when developing. So Bugs can also be a blessing in disguise as the developers here are learning new ways to tackle problems, that money simply can not buy. Keep up the great work IOC Team. |

I predict it will be worth 50% on launch.
Will be the most expensive ledger wallet i ever bought, i hope it comes with tissue paper so i can wipe the tears from my eyes.
