41  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 01:11:55 AM
It's just universally stupid to dump shares in the middle of a motion and expect those votes that no longer exist to count for some reason.

If you're going to take someone to court then do it, stop being an immature drama queen on the forums. If you want to make a bet then do it and don't complain that it is 20BTC instead of 200BTC. If you are 100% confident in being right then a win is a win.

For all the bashing on Garrett about being all talk and no execution, I can say it has been even more of a nuisance reading Goat's pages upon pages of melodrama that have done nothing but distract from meaningful discussion to get things done.

He already did. You refuse to call the bet.

It has to do with counting votes. You actively traded ownership of shares in the middle of a motion.

You should have held on to your shares until the motion closed.

Must be nice to have that kind of money to burn. I think that's about how much I lost on this venture.

It seems you gave me way less shares than when I voted

Goat, the vote tally is updated to at least a couple hours ago with regards to who owns what shares FYI. I bought a couple extra shares just a couple hours ago, and it is reflected in my vote count.

Why bother ask his permission. As a shareholder, I'd like to (and raise a motion too, if necessary) see the proof and end this Goat drama so that everyone can move forward with Cognitive drama.

When will overdue dividends be posted?

You are both unprofessional and untrustworthy! No more business for you!

Edit: Given the current situation I'd like to point out the literal hilarity of:
Quote
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: [Not Cognitive Mining]

Also the figurative hilarity that you say "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE" like this is some sort of PR announcement. You don't have any public relations with this segment of customers because you've ruined those relations. A real PR announcement should have been made during the freezing of the asset, and posted under "What's New" of your front page with an explanation of why you would take such actions and your policy on taking such actions. That's what a company with integrity does.

Those links only explain what is going on with Cognitive internally, not why Havelock froze trading. It also doesn't explain Havelock's policy on freezing assets.

No I did not remember where it came from but point taken. In all honestly the way you behave sometimes makes it is easily confusing for me despite that.

Isn't that what your account is for Huh

While you're at it please take Havelock to court for freezing assets.
55  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Havelock Investments - Exchange feedback/comments on: April 01, 2014, 12:18:16 AM
Anyone from Havelock care to explain themselves in freezing the COG asset with zero warning or reason? Is this the kind of behavior I should expect in the future? Do you have a policy or guidelines on what substantiates the freezing of an asset or on preventing a user from taking actions on the securities he/she owns?

Isn't that what a co-op is?

I was involved in funding a project last summer where $25,000 was lost

Double that and put me on salary. I bet I can run the other half of that CT order.

Would it be better to just sell off all our hardware and send out all the dividends to all of us? No point in having state of the art hardware that is not running.

13 week profit @25% bi-weekly network growth => $5600, and that is if they started working perfectly a few days ago.  Currently on Ebay, I see buy-it-now prices of $10k to $12k for CT units in hand.  This sounds like a no-brainer.

If you can sell units for $12K each on ebay you must do it right now.

But less efficient doesn't mean unprofitable. You'd have to show me some real analysis for me to believe it's not worth the time.
