Yes, but when I made the original statement I thought it was ~1 day+. 2 hours in my opinion still counts as minutes beforehand. Its close enough. Anything over 3 hours is pushing it "minutes"-wise.

Do you think there's a good chance we'll make it back down to $5 again? $2? I think $2 is a little extreme. Why? Bulls haven't been able to break a high that was put in place a year and a half ago, haven't been able to break this year's high, and have been bumping up against this $13-15 zone since September without breaking through. We've seen decreasing volume since this year's high, with an overall decreasing volume for the year. All this in the face of numerous positive developments. What do you think, myself? Everything, including the fundamentals seems to point down, way down, for the medium to long term. Right? If you're going to take a longterm position right now it should be a long term short. Yes? For the next 3-4 years, we are only going to be producing half as many bitcoins. Which will hopefully keep the price from returning to $2 too quickly? There is nothing preventing us from heading back to $2, but I just don't think demand is going to drop that much. |

Summary:
Smoothie isn't trolling. He is genuinely concerned about how cypherdoc worded his post, and thinks it could mislead people into subscribing for his service. cypherdoc originally thought nothing was wrong with his post, and asked Smoothie to provide evidence (the timestamps.) Smoothie provided the timestamps, but cypherdoc pointed out that many other emails sent around the time had shown a selloff was coming.
Conclusion:
cypherdoc could correct his original statement of, "i alerted my subs during the August selloff minutes before it happened" into something like, "My subscribers knew well ahead of time a selloff was coming in August." I think that's all Smoothie is getting at.
EDIT:
I have now learned that cypherdoc warned his subscribers within 2 hours of the sell off. I retract my statement.

This aggrivates me so much. I just want to find the loser responsible for this scam and give him a piece of my mind. Why don't these people invest their time and money into something productive instead?

Also for others, I added a donation address to the OP since I lost about 1.5 BTC in this process. If I receive more than 1.5BTC, further funds will be used for more double spending attempts. I think Satoshidice owe you a reward. I am surprised that they do not offer a standard 10 BTC reward to anyone who posts a proven double spend on this forum. Well they don't owe me a reward. Also I could have won BTC instead of losing during these tests. Funny that you mention that, since in the process of testing your method I ended up 5 BTC ahead... I think I'm obligated now to cover your loss, so I'll share the winnings. I couldn't pull off the double spend, but I only got 1 or 2 reasonable tests in. They do take quite a long time to execute.
