If you have a LinkedIn account and use the same password for other services (such as mtgox), please change your password. If you are unsure, visit LeakedIn to check. Seriously people: don't go to LEAKEDin and type your password. Whether it's honest or not, you gain nothing from potentially handing your password over to some random site on the Internet. "Just provide your password ( which we hash with JavaScript; view source to verify) or a SHA-1 hash of your password below, and we'll check." browser hashes password -----sends to server-----> server replies if hash matches.

This morning, a dump of unique passwords from LinkedIn databases had been posted. From the dump, it is revealed that password hashes did not include a salt. This allows the attacker to generate a rainbow table that is valid with all the hashes. So expect your password compromised. As you can see in this screenshot, I have clearly identified him as a dedicated troll. The last post was 10 days ago. There hasn't been any Microcash-related threads active in this forum for the past few days so he thought it'd best to bump an old thread, to stir it up again. It makes me question what he does with his life. I kinda feel sorry for him.

I wanted to do an in-depth analysis of one of many LoupGaroux's responses to my posts. As we can see here, I have carefully labeled one of his recent posts: His post makes little to no sense. As outlined by the blue brackets, the text enclosed is the only portion of his whole reply that contains anything remotely coherent. The fact he upper-cases the 3 letter acronym 'LOL' impresses me as it reveals he has commitment in producing humorous content, such that relates to trolling unfortunately. Those who seek elaboration to his initial thoughts are soon disappointed as the text followed in the red brackets are filled with trolling nonsense that clearly does not relate to the text above. As expected, it is diluted with personal attacks difficultly placed between every other word that tries to make his ego feel better. Profanity is used to direct the reader's mind to create a humorous tone that attempts to make the reader laugh, while redirecting the the mind from marking him as a troll to a sad sad basement-dwelling 10 year old. It's not a surprise to anyone LoupGaroux is a sock puppet of BitcoinEXpress.

RS Quote from solidcointalk.org:
"MicroCash is on a new codebase so the code isn't compatible with Bitcoin anymore. Also our license strictly prohibits using our code directly (but not the ideas in it) in other digital currencies. We have no problem with the Bitcoin developers getting ideas from our source but they can't use the source directly. "
Isn't that just awesome that he could steal the entire bitcoin source code and use it and not include the MIT license in it then say the quote above.
Wow ....lol....just...wow
Newsflash! Cosbycoin lacks reading comprehension!"MicroCash is on a new codebase"

Well.. those awful lot of claims.. I have seperated them into facts and rumors for a reason. Please.. The first 4 points were facts so far. Please proove me wrong there. The parts about the Botnet are just made by comparing data available at that time. I spend a while on Ahimoth's Block explorer, but it seems he just substitutes the miner IDs for all Solo Miners with just "Solo Miner" - therefore the dickminer IS no longer simply visible. If it was it would be simple to compile a chart where it is possible to spot the correlation between Appearance/Disapperance and DDOSs of Bitcoin Pools. The way it is now it is NOT possible to proof. But not due to the lack of evidence but by obfuscation of evidence.
Also SC2 has shown lack of security in the past. I have to admit, that i dont have a thread at hand right now, but afaik several key scurity mechanisms had been compromised in the past: - Trusted Nodes were mined by "untrusted" miners - People were able to inject falsified Block Timestamps in order to toy with the difficulty

I have a question for GPUMAX users:
Does GPUMAX give you more earnings than a traditional pool? I have around 4 ghash and wanted to get the most Bitcoins for my hashpower.
GPUMax isn't a pool. Your miners connect to GPUMax. GPUMax then sends your hash power to your pool of choice. Whenever GPUMax can lease your GPU for more than your pool is paying you, they do it and pay you more. Therefore, GPUMax has to pay you more, as it only actually kicks-in whenever they can pay you more. Alright, that sounds nice. But has anyone ever rented your hash power? I don't see the reason why anyone would want to rent, they would have to pay more including the markup than what they would earn. My hash power is rented 70-80% of the time (for around 20% more than solo mining would pay). There a few different reasons to rent hash power, most are nefarious, and the two big ones are to wash money or hop proportional pools (although pool hopping isn't possible for those renting from GPUMax). Somebody is profiting off your GPU in some way or another. Some people do use it as an easy to to buy Bitcoins (Ie, rent GPU's via PayPal and use them to mine), but AFAIK GPUMax only allows people to rent using Bitcoins, so that one doesn't apply to GPUMax either. Another legitimate reason is to use your GPU to merge mine, so they actually get the Bitcoin's mined + other crypto-currenices mined. This is usually only 1-2% more profitable though, not near enough the rates GPUMax renters are paying. Lol, so this is a great way to launder tainted bitcoins.

why do you rape bitcoins and how??
We all have our stories for our handles. Mine comes from the reddit user "I_RAPE_CATS". And how? You don't want to know...

|

why do you advertise this micocrash all the time when there is not even a software out???
You should seriously ask that question to BitcoinEXpress and his sockies. I don't want to say this, but the responses to this topic are quite polite. None of the bashing and trolling I expected for being on the other side of BCX.

Are you saying BitcoinEXpress and CoinHunter are in a joint operation?
Their interests are totally not inline.
I'm not saying that. I'm saying that either of them might have written that thing for different reasons. You sure know a lot about CoinHunter's interests for someone who claims not to be CoinHunter Just take a look at their posts, I'm sure you'll notice more than one difference.

No rational person, after reading that article would ever 'endorse' it. So we can clearly conclude BCX is the author of those two articles. It doesn't follow. You don't seem to have any reason to suspect BCX any more than any of the other MC haters on this board. It could have been CoinHunter as some kind of strawman thing to dismiss arguments against MC or some stupid exercise is getting publicity from someone in the MC camp. Are you saying BitcoinEXpress and CoinHunter are in a joint operation? Their interests are totally not inline.

Am I right to believe the bitforce singles are the best bang for your buck? Although the other FPGAs are attractive, I think they're a bit pricy. Thanks

so what?
Thanks for your helpful feedback! I have updated the topic of the original post to reflect the interests of this board.

I don't know what's funnier, him endorsing those articles as reliable sources (as he clearly wrote them) or trying to impersonate Gavin on RipoffReport. That's right, INTERPOL IS AFTER MICROCASH. LOLOLOLOL.No rational person, after reading that article would ever 'endorse' it. So we can clearly conclude BCX is the author of those two articles. He sounds quite concerned in that post. Unfortunately his tone is not enough to convince anyone.

At 3:21:29 AM Bitcoin Forum Time, bitlane called out BitcoinEXpress. Shortly after, BitcoinEXpress replies with a childish, personal attacking rebuttal. He then locks the thread to prevent anyone else from replying! These actions clearly shows that BitcoinEXpress knew his slander operation was in peril and had to lock the thread to save his ass.

Microcash is just a rebranding of SoiledCoin. To claim otherwise is to contradict the current marketing material which claims every SoiledCoin will be migrated to Microcash. In that sense, it is just an extension of SoiledCoin.
Microcash is not just a re-branding, there are significant changes. The widely feared trust nodes are gone. MtGox does not control the license to Bitcoin. MtGox does not control the source to Bitcoin. MtGox does not control the block chain of Bitcoin with tyrant nodes. MtGox holds those Bitcoins in escrow for their users, they cannot decide to spend them as they see fit without breaking the law. The CPF and tyrant nodes were under your total control. That is the difference.
Do you read my posts in the context they are written in? "the joint" claimed that Coinhunter having "1/8" of the coins in the entire network harms the decentralization of Microcash. I responded with the rebuttal that any amount of coins does not relate to the decentralization of the network since there are no trust nodes. And here you are rambling something completely remote. The code is still not open-source. It is proprietary, licensed and controlled by Coinhunter. We can see the source for the client nodes, but not for the tyrant (server) nodes. Client/server architecture where one party controls all the servers is not "decentralized", nor is it peer to peer.
I never said it was open-source. I said the source code is freely available on their website (he was talking about SolidCoin). The Microcash source has not been released yet, how can you claim to see the source for the client nodes and not the server nodes? Anyone can run a server. Clients are only there for the average joe and those who don't want to download the blockchain. I guess you should add "Purportedly," to the beginning of your claims.
