bitcoin dollar is a mouthful, and you are forced to say the whole thing to avoid confusion with either bitcoin or dollars.
How do you say uBTC? 'u-bit'?
We should keep it simple. bits.
1BTC = 1 000 000 bits
It's easy, it has historically been a unit of currency, and it's already in the name!
'Do you accept bitcoin?'
'Yes, it's 250 bits'

If people decide to use uBTC's, call them 'bits' instead of uBTC.
1 million 'bits' in a bitcoin.

According to my experience TAT AM transfers are usually done in 12-48 hours.
He's talking about transferring to direct, which is actually contingent on both TAT and friedcat processing the request. Even if TAT initiates the request within 12-48 hours, one would still need to wait for friedcat to process it, and these days he only seems to be processing transfers once per week. (But typically he clears outstanding xfer requests befor processing divs.)
I'd day, it's best to not push shares on the day of divs or the day prior. (You prolly won't lose them, it just might get muddled.)

Ok, thanks.

Bitcoin was on This Morning? Haha, time to sell
Edit: Just saw it on +1. Amazing
The dark web, hidden from the google. 'You can use britcoins', she then gets corrected.
'Surely you can't buy these bitcoins with a credit card? Crime is getting out of control.'
On a plus she at least knew about cold storage: 'You can keep them offline, not even connected to the internet.'

How long does a push to direct shares take on average? What happens to dividends in the time between the transfer being initiated and the direct shares being confirmed?

I don't understand the logic in keeping it all in one address

How long does converting from AM1 Havelock to direct ASICminer shares take on average?

They're helping us by propagating bitcoin regardless of their personal goals. Not everyone will see the full potential of bitcoin, or see it as more than an investment tool, but that is fine. I still find the fact that people are getting it at all to be amazing. Let people get familiar with it, let it's use normalize in whatever sector they are working in, as long as they are pulling for bitcoin i don't think it's a problem.

1,500,000 more shares were released. When supply goes up and demand stays the same guess what happens?

Didn't that guy that lost 900k on just dice disappear? I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up as a floater.

What is the capital to be raised in this IPO needed for?

His written English isn't consistent with that of a supposedly impoverished pole. There are easy (i.e. forced) spelling mistakes in sentences that are grammatically correct. Also 'not a penny' is an English saying, which he probably would never have even heard in Poland.

At least you'll be used to the swings.

So does mtgox use mtgox to sell their bitcoins?

People are suggesting TW because it works. You can't have it both ways, you can have speed at a premium, or cheaper transactions that take longer. Before about a month ago my transfers (Bank->TransferWise->Bitstamp) were taking around 18-36 hours. Recently it's taking much longer, around a week which i assume is the increased demand they've been having.

Slovenian laws are far less strict than UK banking regulations. Intersango and Blockchain/Pingit accounts got shut down by UK regulators, and i fear this is going to go the same way. UK is absolutely the last place in europe they should have moved their business.
