42  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Snake head on: June 20, 2012, 09:15:41 AM
Its just luck. Hashing power is calculated from the number of blocks found in time unit. So more luck in block finding means spikes on the chart. And vice versa.

This is what i thought too
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculate about the year 2020 on: June 20, 2012, 09:12:29 AM
in 2020 what we now spend 1 BTC on we will probably spend 0.001 BTC on, if rates continue to rise as they are currently

46  Economy / Goods / Clay Paulson Poker Chips on: June 18, 2012, 10:25:47 PM
Clay Paulson Private Card room Poker Chips

I have about 400 of these laying around gathering dust after falling out of my poker phase. They seem to go for about £10 per 9 (1 of each color) on sites like ebay, so i am just wondering if anyone on this site would be interested in them. I will be able to put detailed pictures of them up on wednesday, but this thread is just to gauge interest at the moment. These are legitimate clay Paulson chips, the ones they use in Vegas Casinos.

They look like this:

I'd probably want 2.0 BTC per 10, or 50 for all 400. Something along those lines anyway

I can almost see the metals price dropping already Smiley

In'it it's so they can set the price of there raw materials.  Why do you think they won't let the renminbi float and there also the biggest holder of US debt after the Fed plus the Fed is only now the biggest holder because of all there own quantitative easing there pumping in.

Its really quite scary when you look into it. Fun times ahead...

49  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money is produced every four years... on: June 18, 2012, 09:55:12 PM
I'm not sure exactly, but i don't think it is as constant as there is a finite amount that will be produced, thus putting a cap on inflation.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you use to track your Bitcoins and investments? on: June 18, 2012, 09:54:00 PM
I really don't think there is anything more advanced than a spreadsheet out there. I would have guessed, if there was, that it would be well known on this forum, but i haven't seen anything like it around.
