I am going to be doing some mining and I have a question that I haven't seen answered elsewhere. If you are solo mining should you try to conceal your true IP addy when doing so. In other words would I become a target if I brought online a not insignificant amount of hashing power mining solo? Just for arguments sake say 50 ghash/s in todays climate? If the answer is yes I will become a target could someone point me to information on how to protect myself. Thanks in advance.

How safe is it to accept incoming connections? Are there any security risks associated with this?

Just out of curosity why is it the Islamic bank of Bitcoin. Islamic is a religion is it not not an actual geographical location or country or bank or anything else. Like it or not Islamic, at least in 1st world countries is not a term I would choose to associate with any form of currency due to the current political atmosphere. Or is this a gag and I am being overly serious. If so sorry upfront.

Hi I am just getting into mining hardware but I am a quick study. I must admit botcoin in and of itself is slightly confusing but hey .... nothing ventured nothing gained.
