41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 20, 2017, 11:27:58 AM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

I think it's a good thing to save bitcoin for our children. If bitcoin is a hit now, I think it could be more in the future. By that time, it will be a good thing that our children already has theirs. I feel that it will be a bit difficult to earn bitcoin by that time, unlike how we earn it today. That's why it is a good idea to invest for the children.

If your children are small and you save even 1 or  2 bitcoins for them and then you check the value of bitcoin after 20 years and you will surely find that these are so much valued that it is enough for your children's future. The only thing to take care is that you need to keep on watching the market as 20 +  years is a long time and there might be a possibility that there is any mishap or issue in blockchain which may cause bitcoin to end or something like that. So still its a risk but if nothing goes wrong then for sure you are millionaire by then.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: November 20, 2017, 10:03:20 AM
Not easy to tell but if the disaster would also limit the access to fiat money then probably the Bitcoin value would increase. But that also depends on the way that disaster would impact the Bitcoin infrastructure like internet and electricity. But in the case of global disaster the first thought of every human being on this earth would be how to save the life and then everything else.
When it comes to natural global disasters people wont really mind off on their money or any has value and would rather save their own lives first than on securing all of the assets they do have. Price or value of bitcoin wont really be affected unless if theres no internet which would really cause that there would be no transaction happen which means bitcoin would lost its value.

Any kind of global disaster will have diverse effect on anything and  bitcoin is not anything exceptional . It will also a negative effect on price and volume as people will of course spend if it is anything related to financial disaster.  Lets just hope things keep on running smoothly and there is no disaster type of situation worldwide as this is really will not be good not only for bitcoin but also for the mankind.

43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reaches a record level, surpassing $ 6,000 on: November 20, 2017, 09:39:19 AM
BTC hit $8.000 today.
Hold fast

Bitcoin is now almost all time high. 8K is a very high price but we should be tempted to sale the bitcoins. If you can still hold, you will be in more benefit as we are now moving towards 10K dollars per bitcoin near the end of December. If we all hold and no one sells, we can even reach much more than 10K, but if you see there are a lot of sell orders at 10K on exchanges, so once it reach that mark, it will be bounced back.
44  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your goals in 2018? on: November 20, 2017, 09:21:14 AM
One of my goals is to learn more about crypto currencies and to finally find a currency where we can invest in without the fear that it might be worthless one day later.

Yes, this is the right approach and learning of digital currency is the key. Most people says that their target is to invest or trade and get 200 or 300% profits and other things like that. But they do not focus on learning on how to achieve it. If you first learn all about trading and investment, then achieving any target will not be an issue. But only making the goals and not really know how to go after them, it is just a waste of time.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 20, 2017, 07:15:20 AM
I personally only use crypto currency nowadays. I have a bitcoin debit card (bitpay) that I use everyday to make any payments.

It is nice because I can receive money anywhere in the world and have it sent directly to my bitpay account and then spend it in a irl store within minutes.

What about you guys? Do you invest/trade/use crypto currency?

I live in NY btw

You're not the only one who use the bitocin on dialy basis.I also live with crypto currency and making huge profit from it. I mostly accept bitcoins as payment method from my client. I have BitPay Card – Visa® Prepaid Debit card. I use this card almost everywhere Restaurant, paying bill, Buying stuff online.I think not only me and you everyone in this world who is aware about the bitcon and crypto currency use bitcoin on daily basis
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to securely buy and hold onto bitcoin...? on: November 19, 2017, 02:44:18 PM
I have heard of many people and companies having their bitcoins lost or stolen.

That being said:
What is the safest way to buy and store bitcoin?

Thank you

Bitcoin is untraceable , nobody's its hard or maybe impossible to track the transaction . Online wallets are to much risky. Breaking the security isn't hard for hackers that's why i always recommend my friends to use hardware wallet to store your bitcoins. Just spend 100$ for hardware wallet and protect your wallet to being hacked or stolen. Desktop wallet is the second best good choice.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: November 19, 2017, 11:26:58 AM
Obviously most of noobs and newbies start investing with trade without any experience or any information and after getting lose they make new topics here and crying for there experience. Trading and investing never works with your emotion neither it do what you want. Trading and investing want a lot of time and knowledge. Only a hard worker can achieve that goal and there is no second thought on this.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 0.03 BTC to 3 BTC Challenge on: November 19, 2017, 10:27:50 AM
Hey all, I'm going to start this challenge of turning 0.03 BTC to 3 BTC. I have no idea if I can accomplish this, but I'll be sharing my progress daily with you. If I somehow can do this, it'll prove that anyone can make money in trading as long as you are dedicated and put in the time and work.

I'll also be posting some of my trades during the challenge on Twitter (in my signature), so catch you there too! Hopefully I don't go broke in a few days Cheesy

Portfolio Status
Week 1 - 0.069 BTC

Notes
I have been seeing people asking me what coin I hold. I don't usually hold coins longer than a day, especially not in this market environment. I'm trading bounces/breakouts and taking profit. This can be risky, but if I am strict with my principles, I think it will be okay. With that said, the only coin I will be comfortable holding for the next two weeks will be BCC/BCH.

Maybe its hard to achieve this goal. Are you going to trade with 0.03 bitcoin ? I think its a risky task why would you invest your all money into it.Do you have knowledge about it or any experience ?   Just be careful when buying coin. The amount of your bitcoin may decrease if you chose wrong coins so be smart while trade Good luck.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: November 19, 2017, 10:13:43 AM
Are you sure you will manage both Trading and Job?  Most of people quit there job and start working with bitcoin i don't know why they did that maybe its hard for them to handle both jobs.  Anyways If you're going to trade so its better if you get some information from here. Just don't put your all money into trade, also you have to be Scheduling your job with trading because trading need focus , one mistake and you lose your all money. I think that's the reason why some people quite the job and focus on bitcoins trading.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: November 19, 2017, 08:24:01 AM
Reading this gave me a heart attack, and so I looked to see if the person was joking, but nope they actually want to invest their BTC in other things. This makes me want to cry. In 5 years that 12 BTC is going to be worth millions. In 10-15 years it'll be billions, and in roughly 30 years it'll be worth trillions because 1 BTC will be worth trillions by that time with all the debt it has to account for.

Exactly true, I suggest you to hold 12 btc in your wallet and wait end of the year. Many predictor said the price will increase in December or maybe end of the year or start of year 2018. About the 11 btc you can use it in trading. I my self use the trade to earn bitcoin in short periods.
Don't do investment, i think after reading this topic most of scammers will try to contact you never listen them just do what i said.  Smiley
51  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: November 19, 2017, 08:02:25 AM
I don't think crypto is the future because all the crypto currencies except bitcoin have lowest price. Maybe bitcoin can become the future of crypto because its the mother of all crypto currencies.
On the other point of OP of making money with bitcoins, we can't get rich rapidly with bitcoins,  some times is required like doing investing holding and waiting.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: November 19, 2017, 06:25:56 AM
Well in 2017 or in 2112, It doesn't matter. Earning on internet especially with bitcoin is depend on your hard working. Like you can hard work here by creating high quality post and increase  your rank. After that you can take part of signature campaign. There's some more ways like Mining, Trading, Investing, and the best way is holding your bitcoin for long term and you will get profit without doing anything.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 18, 2017, 04:04:02 PM
Most of people spend their bitcoin when they need or in case of emergency. Bitcoin is a source of holding more we hold more we earn .
I my self hold my all bitcoins and spend them when i feel something i need really important and urgent. Half of people exchange it with cash because there's only few sites on internet who offer bitcoin as payment method . Not everyone accept bitcoin so conversation in fiat is what most people has to do first.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible? on: November 18, 2017, 05:58:48 AM
Can bitcoin be the world's currency?

No i don't thing it can become/possible to be the world's only currency. First of all not everyone aware about the bitcoin especially crypto currencies. Second if you open the list you'll find some countries who is not accepting the bitcoin most of them banned the use of btc like china and south Korea. Third there's not control and its untraceable and in last bitcoin is involve with illegal and criminal activities so its hard to become world's currency. Even though there are lot of benefit of bitcoins but the factors mentioned above are real hurdles for bitcoin.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: November 17, 2017, 06:18:27 PM
I would worry more about your personal PC and its access to your wallets being hacked. There are more and more ways that the scammers get you to download a file or app and then they have all your passwords, keys and what not. That is really the only viable reason to use online wallets, because some of the sites go beyond the key use and use two and three levels of security. New coins every day get this and that person to install the "wallet" and then it is all over.

58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Got hacked and robbed. My mistake for keeping coins on exchange on: October 31, 2017, 05:54:05 PM
Its so sad. That's the reason why i suggest people to use hardware wallet instead online wallets. Now days its easy to hack everything. Hackers are now more cleaver than before. Anyways people learn from his mistake you should not store your bitcoin in exchange. Again i suggest you to use hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is dead! on: October 31, 2017, 10:16:35 AM
I still prefer the theory of Samsung and Toshiba. Sa + Toshi = Satoshi. It makes more sense and i think it would make a better movie.  Grin

Amazing ability you have. But it seems the tragedy is so creepy. We cannot conclude that nakamoto is dead already because of your "vision". Have you prove your vision by yourself in real life, like you visualized or make visioned the thing of what will happen or happened? I guess you also better scan or analyze or interpret your vision carefully, because we do not know nakamoto is here and be offended again of this speculation, it is bad on his part.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think an ICO, or coin, is all about the marketing? on: October 31, 2017, 07:00:45 AM
I mean most these ICOs are not even original ...
Adult dating, real estate, gambling, etc etc ...
Really there is nothing new to the table, so what is it about ?
How much you spend on marketing ?

Of course not. They could do all the marketing in the world and sell people on it and then do absolutely nothing wants to find a release comes and have the coin fall to s***. That is the making of a good scam not the making of a good project. It happens all the time. Marketing is something that is Port. But you have to back that marketing up with actually keeping the promises that you made.
