Great! I have build a small temporary Website for CON for updates If you want to add relevant links (facebook?,twitter,slack channel?) and more, pm me or post it here http://www.paycon.xyz I think the site is a good start to a great site. I would suggest that the forum section background be changed so the text is easier to read. Since we do not have an official site I think this should become CON's new site. I would like to have the Twitter link update to the Twitter I run, https://twitter.com/pay_con. I own paycon.info if any one has any suggestions what we could use the URL for. |

Who can update the OP?
Unfortunately Cres is the only one that can update it. We can make a new thread, but until we have something substantial too add, I see little point. This thread has so much history in it, I would hate to abandon it. It is something that needs to be considered in the near future though. If I create a new Slack channel, will anybody join? I do think we should consider a new thread. There is outdated info on this one that needs to be removed or updated. For example, listing the new website that does not exist. If the conmunity is going to keep this coin going and attract new people then the thread needs to be updated and show that we are working on developing the coin. I am running a new CON twitter since the old one is not used anymore but there it not much to talk about. Plus I do not think it is wise to send people to an outdated thread. I have never used Slack but if you create one I will figure out how to use it and join. It has been to long since we have heard from Crest. I think the days of sitting around and waiting for him to return are over. It is time to relay together and move this coin forward. |

So many CON "supporters" seem to be just waiting for Crest. I am not sure why anyone would want to hold onto a coin and just wait for someone else to do all the work. If you have invested in CON why would you not want to help drive the value up? |

What you guys should do:
Get the word out about PayCON
Maintain a 0.2 btc/day volume on C-CEX so we can get it listed on POLO/Bittrex
I ask the community to make a list of wallet improvement/or addition.
We do not need Crest for that, he is been away for 1 month + already, we need to wake up and do things on our own.
The first change we need to implement is a reduction in stake reward. My vote is for 15 CON reward. I agree with the conmunity waking up and doing things for ourselves but I have not seen it yet. I have posted a few times asking for ideas and others to list their skills so features could be built to help CON. No one has stepped up yet. The majority just post how Crest will be back implying that we just wait for him to return and do all the work. A coin will not survive if the community does not step up and help make the coin better. In my opinion CON will not survive if we do not create more ways to use it. Currently staking is the only use. There are no games created and there is no market where CON can be used to purchase items. Wallet features are nice but that will not give CON any more uses than it already has. CON is a buy, stake and sell your stake for profit coin. This will only take the coin so far, which I believe we have already seen how far the coin will go with only staking as its use. Getting the word out will help a little but since CON does not have many ways to use it and there has not been any new developments lately, new people may not find the coin appealing. |

Another suggestion would be to lower the POS rewards.
Price is supply and demand. The above suggestion would raise demand.
Lowering supply would also help in firming prices.
I am currently averaging 9% to 10% per month - far in excess of the stated 50%.
Inflation over 100% per year makes price stability difficult if not impossible.
Agree to lower the POS rewards to 15 CON per Block and to bringing the average rate of inflation down from over 100% to 50%.    This would be a tremendous plus for CON. Can this be done without Crest? I have worked with Crest in the past on CON. Lately I have not heard from him. I agree that he is a great developer and may just need sometime off. I have followed many coins over the years and have experienced that even if a coin has a great developer if others from the community are not willing to join in on developing features/uses for the coin then the coin will die. It is a lot for one person to do all the work to develop for a coin. In Crests absence I say we pull together and help develop features and uses for CON. Then when he returns he can see that the CONmunity has helped support the great coin he gave us. If anyone is willing to step up and create something for CON let us know. What we need is more ways to use CON: faucet, dice game, market, ect. I have been thinking about running a raffle but I have not figured out the best way to do it. If anyone has suggestions on how to run the raffle let me know. |

Anybody have another way for me to help? I'm still only a year old in the Cryptocurrency world, so I'm not much help in the BTC donation area unfortunately, I'll do my best to spread the word around. I love this coin, the dev, and the community!
Welcome to our CONmunity. Sorry if that is lame but I enjoy using CON as a play on words. I am with you as far as not being able to donate BTC. If you are staking CON you can donate a part of your stake to Crest. Getting the word out about CON would be a great help. Any "marketing" you can do will help build our community. What skills do you have that you think could be used to help CON? If you do not have any development skills but have ideas please let us know. There are people in the community that can make your ideas come to life. I do not have any development skills but I do have a developer I use for my projects. I am glad to see that you are willing to help. I will help you help CON. |

Guys, when I launched flycoin, my first coin ever, there was only one person that saw I needed help. It was Crestington. Everyone saw I needed help, but nobody cared until FLY was $2.49. Then suddenly I had a lot of friends. Crestington developed the core of FLY. He was the 1st dev of FLY. That needs to be said. Crestington actually called me, and stayed on the phone with me for hours and showed me how to create a coin. Never asked for anything. I had to force the payment on him..LOL. He is just that kind of person. But, now We must support him. I will support my great friend in crypto. Guys he needs something liquid. BTC or LTC is best. That way he can start to rebuild. I know how it is to lose in crypto , and I feel down and beaten. Thats when we find out who "has our back". Crestington has my back , and always has. So Crestington, please post your btc or ltc addy please. I know this might be hard for you, but please do it. I will start by sending $200 to you in btc or ltc. Your good friend, Vegas This is a great story that should inspire others to help Crest. I think it is good to help him out financially and I will also do what I can as I do not have much. I can also say that Crest spent hours teaching me how to make a coin. Which I was not very successful at but it definitely was not due to his lack of effort to help me. He did not ask for anything in return. I was never a big name in crypto but to let everyone know I use to use an account, VladMcCloud. I can attest that it is hard to get people to support the developer of a coin unless the coins value is high. It is amazing how many people want to sit back and expect the dev to do all the work just waiting to make a profit. If the community would pitch in and help more then the coin could thrive better. I helped Crest work on the website for CON, which ended up having a set back. Recently I have been asking for the communities support for this coin. Some have come up with good ideas. Crest is great at what he does but one man can not do everything for a coin. If CON is to survive then others need to step up and help. Not everyone has to create something for CON. Great ideas from the community can be created by someone else with the know how. Con definitely needs more developers. Spreading the word about CON is also a huge help. As I can not send Crest much in the way of BTC, I will do what I can. What I am also trying to do is help keep his coin alive and keep all of his hard work from being in vain. The idea of PayCon hosting a movie award type competition was mentioned. I think it would be a good idea and I was thinking the YouTube channel could be used to post the winners. A competition where users use CON to "buy" into the competition and play a game to win the jackpot was also mentioned. I have been researching what games could be played and how each user would play and everyone could see the scores to prove who won. Any ideas you may have please let me know. I want to see CON grow and I am willing to help make it happen. |

Anyone interested in some gamble?  If we get a 4 players. I suggest 10 rounds of fun run 2 ( a silly game on android/ios). Every player wagers 1000 cons, and the person winning the most rounds wins the prize. Quite honestly I love that idea, it should be implemented somehow.  I like that idea as well. I would like to hear the communities thoughts as to how we could implement the hosting of competitive games for a jackpot reward. |

What you talking about. Do you turn on The Randome phrase generator? This is a good idea. If I am understanding the idea correctly, PayCon could have a site where videos/movies are submitted and voted on and awards are given. This is definitely a unique idea for a coin. I am sure this idea could easily be expanded if someone is interested in making it come to life. |

Presstab explorer is working again. Anyway, I wondering why is so low price, volume and interest. PayCon has a really unique wallet, secured blockchain, and the PoS doesn't affect huge inflation. Total coin supply is quite low too. We should find out how could we growing, because it's only a technical experiment in a lab now. Paycon deserves much more than that I think.
I'm pretty sure that if and when we'll switch to an ETH-like PoS chain we'll get a lot more interest. I can work on a hilo game when i have some spare time, shouldn't be that hard. That would be great. I am sending you a PM. |

I agree upon this point I will second that. What I believe CON needs is more ways to use it. Staking is nice but if there where more ways to use CON then that would create buy pressure. Of course getting the word out and bringing more people into CON will also create buy pressure and help the value. I would like to see a HI-LO game like the one on primedice.com/play. As I do not have the skills to create it, if anyone here does and is interested in making it let me know. If anyone else has some ideas as to what added uses CON could have please let the community know. Most of coins has several way to use it, so we need a rare/unique idea to reach the mass. I have an idea, but I think we don't have a good programmer and a high-skilled trader with free time. Edit: I joined to the empty PayCon IRC channel.  I am not sure if we do have a good programmer apart of our community. If anyone does have coding skills and would be willing to help create some of the ideas that others have please post what your skills are. I do know of a good HTML, CSS and Javascript developer but he wouldn't do it for free. Simon, I would like to hear your idea and see if it is something that I can help bring to life. |
