Go to the imgur link of your entry. On the top right corner of your image, you will see a drop down arrow. Click the arrow and click on "Get share links". Copy the BBCode and paste it here.

I  see the next validation in 4 days according to the website. As a 1st timer, does that mean I"ll have to wait for  4 days to start mining?
if you have passed the validation, no need to wait, turn on the online mining function and start earning  Wink
I've just downloaded the latest node and the windows client and the client is currently synchronizing with the network. I've not even received my invitation code, hence asked if I need to wait till the next validation shown on the website.

I too feel users should give due credit for images taken online. If stock images are used, the user should have the rights to use the image, provided the given stock image does not form the majority / all of the design. I think the high merits given by Theymos could be him appreciating the art / design work and that the art / design would have been entirely created by the said user. This contest could be for fun but that does not mean that it should be filled with  plagiarized or copyrighted content. This essentially mocks people who have put in the effort to create the art / design work themselves. There are however some truly incredible art / design work in this contest. I've also seen some users who have posted art / design work that is someone else's but they have pointed that out and have also not given their BTC addresses in those posts showing how it should be done if the art / design work is not theirs. BTW, @Yatsan, your art works are amazing.

With 2 contests running at the same time, "10th anniversary art contest" and "[CONTEST] Design the 10 years of Bitcointalk commemorative Coldkey ($500+ prize)", can a user submit the exact same art/design without any modification/improvisation? Yogg who runs the Coldkey contest did say entries in the 10th anniversary art contest can be used in coldkey contest with adaptations/modifications. My 1st entry in the coldkey contest was based on my 1st entry in the 10th anniversary art contest. I need opinions if I can use the final art/design entries submitted in coldkey contest be submitted in the 10th anniversary art contest.

The time gap between the contest deadline and start of the poll will look like a real long wait for all the participants with greater anticipation. I can't wait to see the short listed entries.

Just added my 3rd entry. Looking forward to see more entries from others before the deadline in 10 hours.

However for the designs that will make it to the poll, there is going to be a picture of a functional wallet with that design.
Thanks for your questions. Let me reply to you :
1) We will conduct the contest as planed.
2) The deadline will most likely not be extended.
3) I don't know, applicants can still submit entries so I cannot reply; as described in the OP which design makes it to the poll is subjective to our appreciation.
There are 3 prizes to win, so there will be many more than 3 different contestant in the poll, that's for sure.

4) Of course, if their rank allows them to. The poll will be held in "Ivory Tower" to prevent any form of abuse.
Thank you for your reply. Happy to participate in this contest. I'll be submitting more entries and looking forward for others too to submit more.
If I understand correctly, all entries that are shortlisted for the poll will be printed and will be for sale even if those entries do not end up in the top three. If that is so, that itself is a win for designers and finishing in the top three is the jackpot.

Edit: Would you be doing test prints on entries that you've merited like the earlier 2 designs before the deadline? Just eager to see how my design would look on the cards.

I feel more rules need to be added mainly on voting in the poll, how many designs from a single user may be shortlisted, etc. As of now there are very less designs and just 2 days left for the entry deadline. What if the number of quality entries remain less? Will the deadline date be extended in such a case or designs will still be shortlisted from the current entries even if there are no more entries from now? To make this question a bit more clear, minimum how many entries will be shortlisted for the poll? Will contest participants be allowed to vote in the poll?

Thanks a lot. I just fixed it. I didn't realize how I did it correctly last time. Totally messed up this time. Your help was timely. I'll probably never forget about adding images for a long time.
I'm glad it helped Smiley Maybe it will help others as well, if they see this post.
Also, thank you DdmrDdmr for the merit. As far as I saw, merits are rarely awarded to replies, thus it was a big surprise for receiving it!

You deserve a merit there. It was of real help with real solution. It will not only help me but many as well. I have see few threads in Bitcointalk with the issue but none of them provided a solution for me, but yours did. I'm out of merits otherwise would have given you instantly. Glad DdmrDdmr merited you.

Not sure what the problem is but the images shows as invalid and hence have added the imgur link as well.
No issue when adding image in the Bitcointalk art contest thread.
I had same issue, but I solved it this way: the "normal" imgur link looks like this - "https://imgur.com/a/somecharacters"; but, if you right click on the image and select "Copy image location", then if you paste it in a new tab, you'll receive a link in this form: "i.imgur.com/somecharacters".
If you write this link here, in this form (with the "i.imgur" part), it will work. It worked for me Smiley
Maybe you did this on the other contest and you didn't realize.
Thanks a lot. I just fixed it. I didn't realize how I did it correctly last time. Totally messed up this time. Your help was timely. I'll probably never forget about adding images for a long time.

This is my entry for the Coldkey contest. Part of this image is from my entry in the Bitcointalk Art Contest.

Entry 1 - Front View (Sample)

Entry 1 - Back View

Entry 1 - Front View without BTC amount. The 1st image with amount is for reference.

Color code for the Gold text - #d9c556

Edit: Updated the 1st entry.
Just realized there is not enough space for Auth Key and BTC address in the 1st entry. Since I have already received merits when I just had the 1st entry, I'm adding variation of the 1st entry as my 2nd entry.

Entry 2 - Front View (Sample)

Looking forward to see my designs on the cards.

What is the best practice to submit multiple entries? For example, I submit an entry on day 1, then if I want to submit another entry on a different day, is it better to (1) create another post and possibly add a link of the earlier entry in the new post with a new entry or (2) is it better to delete the earlier entry (if it has not received a merit) and add the art together with the new one in a new post or (3) add all entries in the first post created irrespective of when the art was submitted?

Is the site hacked or under attack? I received around 26 successfully logged in emails in the last 8 hours all from different IP addresses. 25 of these emails came in 1 hour, 7 hours ago and 1 half an hour ago.
