41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A flaw in bitcoin, if it became widely adopted 21m bitcoins, 7b people on planet on: December 29, 2015, 01:47:47 PM
you are getting the wrong idea dude, make bitcoin popular does not mean that everyone has to own a bitcoin. it means that everyone must know about bitcoin and if some problem occurs to them regarding transactions then they know about a reliable source such as bitcoin. the goal of the developer of bitcoin might not have been to remove bitcoin but to spread bitcoin as gold, gold is also limited but many people who can afford gold have gold in some form and even the elder illiterates know about gold. i might be wrong but this is what I thing bitcoin was invented for.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: December 29, 2015, 01:28:51 PM
well totally agree with you as far as you short term prediction as Iran has a unique goal which it wants to accomplish by not cutting down the supply of oil in the global markets in spite of having a very low demand for oil globally, but I still doubt hour long term prediction I would say oil might touch $100 or even less before we find some efficient alternative to oil.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin value in the next future 50 years- rubbish or global currency? on: December 29, 2015, 12:38:20 PM
Hi, all.
I am not fully understand on bitcoin mechanism.
I would like to ask the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin,
as far as I know, the most advantages for it is the reduction of transcation cost.
but with the recent development of technology, I'm skeptic on it.

1. The code for bitcoin can't be edited, right?
Is it possible to decode bitcoin on the next future 50 years?

2. With the increase in the price of bitcoin, there are many new crpto-currency in the markets,
This bring to a new questions, since there are not authrity that can controlled crpto-currency,
those new crypto-currency will eventually create chaos in the market.
Especially in order to create wealth, those who have lots of money can suddenly enter the new crypto-currency,
due to a high demand and new crypto-currency will be more valued.
How bitcoin increase its value in a month in 2009.
And those wealth people are going to be more richer than before.
Do you agree that authority should be given to certain parties to control the flow of crypto-currency?

look my friend 50 years is a very very long short that non of us know about and most of use would be in our seventies and we might laugh at the stuff we are doing right now, so it a rubbish question but still answering your questions

there is a possibility that bitcoin code cannot be decoded even after 50 very long years because bitcoin might not be the same bitcoin which it is today.

entering into a new crypto-currency with a lot of wealth is a huge risk and very less sign of reward, as a lot of new crypto-currencies are crashing with increase in bitcoin value. bitcoin is a commodity that is controlled by the emotions of people and giving some authority any kind of control would do injustice to others.
44  Local / India / Re: What is the best way to buy bitcoin? on: December 29, 2015, 12:24:36 PM
I would suggest go either exchange it locally or zebpay the money you will get from locally exchanging would be spend on services which are already available on zebpay, I majorly use zebpay.
45  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you in a relationship on: December 29, 2015, 12:14:20 PM

46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: December 29, 2015, 12:05:54 PM
I have been told that don't accept payments via paypal, is that right?
Because when buyer will have his bitcoins then he can claim back money from paypal by saying that i haven't received desired product.
well what you are saying is true and I would recommend not to use PayPal for anything, the reason I am saying this is because of such high fees compared to bitcoin transaction fees. there is a lot of other legal issues also that you might face with PayPal so instead do your work with bitcoin and well you need dollars then exchange bitcoin local bitcoin website where you can take the cash and send bitcoin simultaneously hand in hand.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much bitcoins do you put on an exchange at any one time? on: December 29, 2015, 12:00:08 PM
There is no restriction as such to hold the amount of bitcoins while trading. It all depends on how much you can afford to put it.I'm a trader at localbitcoins with only 0.20 btc for sell and buy .I traded with same for about a month and roughly made about 0.30 at the end .Offering good rates and managing your prices according to the current trend is what really matters.

And how long roughly after putting your coin up for sale does it take for someone to buy them? obviously in an exchange you can dump them instantly for slightly underprice but localbitcoins is a different case altogether.
well I would say time is not something that matters as long as you are getting the price you want you are doing just fine, but to answer your question it hardly takes a minute.
I am a trader myself with lots of other side businesses and I normally trade with 0.05btc any given trade it is not about the more you put the more you get, but to manage the risk factor.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Banking Industry kill Bitcoin and keep the Blockchain? on: December 29, 2015, 11:46:36 AM
there is a good possibility that banks might go after the transaction fees that blockchain and other wallets make by introducing a wallet of its own(of the bank) and claiming to be much more secure and providing services which do not accept bitcoins now, there is a strong possibility for this to happen but completely going after bitcoin for extinction of bitcoin won't be helpful in any sense to the banks as these banks are too big if compared to bitcoin
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much money do you carry with you? on: December 29, 2015, 11:27:40 AM
well whenever I go out of my house then before leaving I make a rough estimate of how much money is required, while going out with my friends I keep around $1-2 for something like an evening walk and of course some bitcoin

51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: December 29, 2015, 09:57:48 AM
well, when you are out of food you do not starve to death you go to the market and but more, same is done by gamblers like me we go to the exchange and buy more,it is not about making money for me, If I loose money I like to think of it as a fees that I payed for to fun and exciting experience that I had during the game . we don't fee sad about loosing money as the money we keep aside for gamble never reached to our pockets.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: December 29, 2015, 09:51:14 AM
I would say no there is no difference in buying stocks on a stock exchange and gambling , all you can do is research carefully and intensively about the stock before buying it, also see the upside and downside risk for the stock, whereas in gambling you should follow a specific strategy and also manage your money by managing risk carefully, and effectively.
53  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorit Bitcoin gambling site and why? on: December 29, 2015, 09:44:05 AM
I love to gamble and more than that I love betting so if would say directbet is an awesome website for gambling, the reason for that is it takes very little time in confirmation of transaction and also it gives you points on your bet which is also a plus side to gambling.

56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: December 29, 2015, 05:54:46 AM
The most annoying problem I have with bitcoin is when I was introduced to bitcoin it was preety stable in $200-250 range but now it is a lot more volatile than before, plus also the confirmation time sometimes it takes more than 5 hrs for 3 confirmations, but loosing on the possibilitiesthat bitcoin brings to me these are preety small problems.

If someone have my bitcoin address can they tell who I am or my user name or specifically my IP address??
