Because those companies don't accept websites with some types of activities. I don't know much but as an example, I really doubt you can use Coinbase solution for a hyip, casinos, or illegal activities. And no it's not a nightmare to set up a script within your own website. Less than 1 minute can be enough. I don't know why you say it seems the OP doesn't know what he is doing, he is just looking for some alternatives, he hasn't said he is not able to install something.

I would like to accept bitcoin payments on my website, I have tried using some of the bitcoin payment gateway services, but they either decline my application , restrict access due to my location outside the USA or make excessive requirements, So now I have decided to see if there is a way I can build a script or use an API to develop a bitcoin payment gateway that I could integrate into my website or use as an invoice. I would appreciate the help from those more experienced in the technical aspects of bitcoin to assist me with this. I would welcome all suggestions on how to go about this. Thanks in advance.

My opinion is to wait and buy very cheep in the first week of August. Its obvious value is going down. Just look at the charts in the past, it is happened before.
Is it certain that bitcoin prices / value would go up after August 1st? |

Not sure what to make of this but right now bitcoin value seems to be dropping really fast, I have some bitcoins and I am a bit confused, do I hold or sell them off and make some money, is august really going to be dooms day for bitcoins or would bitcoins ride the storm and increase in value? would appreciate some advise from a bitcoin pro.

"Legendary" (bwa ha) member OROBTC suggests that all BTC fans (esp. beginners) take a look at the various hardware wallets out there. I have used the following ones (and there several others with good reputations):
- Ledger models
- Trezor
- DigitalBitBox
All three above are good, Ledger makes at least three models.
Trezor, digitalbitbox and Legder Nano seem to be on the expensive side, I am looking for something within the $10 - $30 range. I see Legder has the HW1 or something, is this any good? |

Hey all, this question has been asked before in older topics / threads but those are old threads and as a result the methods are probably vunerable / outdated now, So I would like to know the safe reliable ways of securing bitcoins / bitcoin wallets? is it advisable to zip/ encrypt and upload in cloud? I would like to know different ways to protect my bitcoins. Hope to get some response.
