I make it, x16 x16 didn't work on my computer so i cut it, now i'm using it like a x1 x16 riser and can make another x1 x1 but i need the top famale pcie conector.
Thanks sweeppicking glad to hear it works. I could not find a reason it wouldn't work but wanted to make sure it would. Just need to cut the kables, and care with the male pcb cuting. x1 x16 is beter that x16 x16. |

In order for a coin to have value, and I mean long term value, you need people who want to buy it, and trade it. Who gives a fuck, if the coin was only mineable by NVidia cards? YAC is only mineable by CPU's, and its worthless.
Yes, but its cause all miners has just sempron or athlon CPUs, and its just one per rig, one poor CPU and 3 or 4 powerful GPUs. there is a lot of people with computers with 690 SLI or something like that. No one in the world of mining uses Nvidia, making a algorithm just for nvidia cards you will create a exclusive coin, wich will has a nice trade price and will be nicely profitable, the people will buy nvidia cards and people like Con Kolivas will job in news miner sistems. That will gibe an useful work to all that people who buys nvidia cards for paying video games.

I would love it! Great gaming rigs I got and great folders.... mining they just fucken suck. BTW we are out there mining.. trying too at least. Glad that cudaminer is out there... but only 120 mhash on a 660 makes me cry. That's why we need to create another algorithm that uses process like Physx to hash, the hash can be make by the resolution of the algorithm and it can be created espeficly for CUDA transistors and Nvidia cards. |

About just reference cards, i've got 2 sapphire Dual x 7970, two 7970 sapphire reference cards with Ghz edition BIOS and a ASUS DC II 7970.
I made a record of scrypt mining of 800khs on the 7970 reference cards in my full covered water cooled system, they are great but you can buy good 7970s like twin force 2, ASUS DC 2....
I know others like XFX or gigabyte sucks like it allways do. But Sapphire, ASUS and MSI cards are amazing, and you can do a great job by change of the BIOS.

Hi everyone, i'm trying to buy a used 7970 sapphire video card, can be the red and black one or the dual-x model (just the one with 2x mini DP, 1x HDMI port and 1x DVI port).
I'm from Argentina, but you can send this to my friend on Miami so there will be no problem with sipping.
Also, i'll use it for Water Cooling, so i don't need the fans or air cooling system.
So this is an option for who have a 7970 with broken cooler or even just the PCB.

I think we need to push in Litecoin, we will need a great scrypt coin for the moment when the asics come.
I think all we can do is help the people who made litecoin to rise it. Litecoin was long time profitable, then come feathercoin and another Altcoins that make litecoin poor.
I think litecoin is the future for we, the GPU miners.
