41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Media Is All Praises For Bitcoin on: July 07, 2019, 11:36:49 AM
I know to speak very good French and English. A year ago I started to learn Chinese. To learn a foreign language one needs on the average 20 years, to learn Chinese one needs 40 years.

Every country has a word for its people. The word for Romanians is downcast, for Germans is hard working, for Czechs is rich, for Denmark is explorer, etc

Chinese people are the wisest people in this world. There is no country in this world as China. They have helped me many times, although I have not asked for their help.

What I can say, from what I know about them (the Chinese people) is that they work very hard and that they are very honest.  If they praises the Bitcoin, then the Bitcoin is very good and is the future. They are smarter than I am, and I trust what they say about Bitcoin.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS IN A BUBBLE !!! The true value of Bitcoin is somewhere near ZERO on: July 06, 2019, 11:25:02 AM
Assume that I come to you tomorrow with some apples. I worked for that apples half of the year, I watered the apple tree, I have done many impossible things 6 months of the year for those apples to grow.

You have some peaches in your garden that I crave for. I am asking you to give some of your peaches, for some of my apples.  Does this mean that my apples do not have value? Maybe there is another person in this world that wants to have my apples and give me some peaches for them.

This is the Bitcoin. 10 years ago someone has invented it. He spent many months trying to make a mathematical demonstration. Then many people from different countries have spent months to make the electronic equipment necessary for the bitcoin to be obtained (for those numbers to exist).

Then some people went out and spent months to build the buildings very necessary for the electronic equipment to function.

You came and say that these efforts of many people in this world do not have value. What if this people will ask you tomorrow to make the same efforts?
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: shortest way to explain blockchain to a noob. go: on: July 05, 2019, 10:05:50 AM
Blockchain is a place were there is recorded every bitcoin transaction and the value in bitcoins of that transaction. That is Blockchain is a list of transactions in bitcoin made until now.

Blockchain gives the proof that that transaction in bitcoin (between 2 bitcoin addresses) has been made and it can be read by every person in the world.

In approx 10 years of existence there was no error in Blockchain, every transaction recorded in Blockchain arrived at its destination.

44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything can be bought by Bitcoin? on: July 04, 2019, 09:17:56 AM
I am Romanian. In my country when buying food (or goods) I can pay with cash, I can pay with credit card or I can pay with a phone that has NFC (and money) on it.
I can buy on the internet some products with PayPal (from ebay, and from other Romanian stores) or I can withdraw PayPal to a bank account or to a card. I am using bitcoin to pay now and then on the internet, or I am withdrawing bitcoin to PayPal (with Coinbase) or I consider using a Bitcoin ATM to withdraw cash.

Thus I consider that I can buy everything with Bitcoin in Romania (some Romanian internet websites accept Bitcoin)
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uhm... What?? Coindesk BTC price right now on: July 03, 2019, 07:15:17 AM
Somewhere in 2016 , when the Bitcoin price was approx 270 USD for 2 months, the price for 1 Bitcoin decreased to approx 30 dollars for 10 minutes. I wish I could have bought Bitcoin at that price. It was not possible for me then (I am Romanian). One day after this happened I regretted not being attentive. I would have had now a new home somewhere in Bahamas or in Southern Europe.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many People Are Really Trading Cryptocurrency? on: July 02, 2019, 10:05:07 AM
I am doing stock trading and forex trading for 10 years now on virtual money. I quit forex trading 3 years ago.
I have never trade on real money. If one wants to learn to trade one needs 15 to 20 years to do this good.

I am not trading Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a good currency, is the money of the future. Until 10 years ago when Bitcoin was "invented" we had no food, we had no jobs, we had no industrial production. In 10 years of PayPal and Bitcoin the agricultural and industrial production has grown tremendously.

It is the merit of PayPal, it is the merit of Bitcoin that today we prospere, that people have good jobs and wishes for a good life that has not existed until now.

I guess that not many people trade Bitcoin. People use Bitcoin to buy everything they want to, people hold Bitcoin because is so good so that its value is going up 20 times every 3 to 5 years.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every time I sell Bitcoin pumps... Has BTC been good or bad for You??? on: July 01, 2019, 11:38:29 AM
I am using Bitcoin price forecasts made by the Indians. They are very good, use this website

https://longforecast.com/bitcoin-price-predictions-2017-2018-2019-btc-to-usd

they update the Bitcoin price forecast every day.

48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uganda says cryptocurrency is risky on: July 01, 2019, 11:29:44 AM
For 20 years now, I receive approx every day an email from an African country telling me that I have won the lottery or that I have received a donation of hundreds of millions USD.  They ask for my ID, for my bank account, etc
If I were to add these winnings the total sum of money that I have won in lottery or that has been donated to me would be approx 10 billion USD.
I usually reply to these emails and the answer that I receive is to send them money before receiving the money won in lottery or donated to me.

This is why Bitcoin has been invented, to give them the possibility to give me these winnings without giving them my ID, etc.

49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: June 30, 2019, 04:02:56 PM
The strength of the Bitcoin is that every transaction is registered on the blockchain. That is everyone has a proof of that transaction and of the value of the transaction when it has been done. No one can come and say, I have given you the money, or I have given you 10 USD, please give me the change to this money, when in reality he has given nothing.

Then the weakness of Bitcoin is the confirmation time. There are necessary 3 confirmations for the money to arrive. 3 confirmations take from 15 minutes to 1 hour. When you send money with PayPal they arrive in 30 seconds.

Another strength of the bitcoin is that you can go with the Bitcoin to the Bitcoin ATM and withdraw it to cash. To withdraw money from PayPal you have to send the money to a card (or to a bank account) and this takes 2 or 3 days.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connecting PayPal? on: June 29, 2019, 11:55:14 AM
You can sell Bitcoin with Coinbase for Euro and withdraw the Euro to PayPal
PayPal has bought some years ago the Braintree payments that accepts card payments and Bitcoin payments.

51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attack on Bitcoin on: June 29, 2019, 11:45:10 AM
This can not happen. The largest Bitcoin mining pool today is BTC.com that has 19% of the hash power. F2Pool is the next pool, with 12.8%.
There is no pool to have 51% Hash Power.  There is no possibility in the next 50 years to come, for a mining pool to have 51% of the total Hash Power.
When the quantum computers will be invented (in 30 to 50 years from now) this could happen if someone will say that Bitcoin money are no good in this world.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I screwed? on: June 26, 2019, 06:56:36 AM
This is giving the Bitcoin Price forecast for the next years
https://longforecast.com/bitcoin-price-predictions-2017-2018-2019-btc-to-usd

They update the forecast every day. This website is very good. I used the predictions of the Indians in the past, and they helped me. Indians are very good to predict the prices

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went to a bitcoin meetup Many people there had bitcoin, no-one actually use it on: June 26, 2019, 06:44:23 AM
I will tell you why is necessary to use your bitcoin even when its value is going up.
Say that you want to buy something from a country with very wise people.  Say that you want to buy their knowledge.

What possibility to pay for this knowledge do you have? You can pay with PayPal, or you can pay with Bitcoin. What would you use?
Some people will pay with PayPal some people will pay with Bitcoin.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency are gonna disappear on: June 26, 2019, 06:28:59 AM
Approx 12 months ago I have bought a very good ebook on amazon.
In this ebook a dancer was telling his 15 years journey to earning 2.5 million dollars on the NYSE. It was a very good story and every page of this book was very good.
I have approx 10 years of trading experience with stocks and I learned many things in these 10 years. The very important thing
is that if you want something to appreciate in value, you have to praise it, you have to encourage it, you have to help it.

Crtyptocurrency will not dissapear. Cryptocurrency will survive and its value will appreciate.
Cryptocurrency will be the main currency of the humanity for the next 30 to 70 years to come.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1,000,000 would kill bitcoin on: June 25, 2019, 02:46:27 PM
When Bitcoin has been invented in 2010, the intent was that the price of 1 Satoshi will be 1 USD somewhere in 2040 to 2070.
This will happen in approx 30 years from now, and the price of 1 Bitcoin will be approx 100 000 000 USD (that is 100 million USD).

1 000 000 would not kill the bitcoin, it is very probable that the price of 1 Bitcoin somewhere in 2023 will be 500 000 to 700 000 USD.

This will be the next bitcoin 20x price increase (in 2023), and very probable the next increase after this (30x) will happen in 2030.
Thus in 2030 it is very probable that the price of 1 bitcoin will be approx 10 000 000 USD/1 Bitcoin.

57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop playing the lottery, this is much better... on: June 06, 2019, 10:39:59 AM
The link that you have given, says Bad Gateway.
When playing the lottery , 20% to 40% of the money that people paid is returned to them. The remainig money is kept by the countries to finance the police and the countries armies.

This is a very known fact.  60% of the money that people pay for lottery is used to pay the salaries of police and militaries, 40% of this money is returned to them.

A good casino returns 99% of the money to the people entering that casino. This is why in some countries they have banned the online casinos, and kept the lotteries.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the cost of bitcoin? on: June 05, 2019, 03:13:13 PM
This price of  approx 8500 USD/1 bitcoin is the price to produce that 1 Bitcoin (the energy, the computers, the network maintanance, etc).  Because the difficulty of producing the Bitcoin increases with time, the price of the Bitcoin goes up (increases).
This year (2019) will be created approx 300 000 bitcoins.  In 10 years there will be created approx 7 000 bitcoins.

Thus in 10 years from now it is very probable that the cost of 1 Bitcoin will be approx 500 000 USD (the market price).

59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rush money and BITCOIN on: June 05, 2019, 02:42:08 PM
Rush money happens especially with paper money. You place your paper money in a bank and then you come to that bank to ask for the money that you gave them. If the bank does not have that money to gave you, this is rush money.
Everyone will come to that bank to withdraw the money that that they gave to that bank, but the bank does not have what money to gave back.

This could happen with Bitcoin if the Bitcoin network is attacked. This can happen if the internet disappears, this can happen if there is a 51% attack on the Bitcoin network (a company in this world produce at that moment 51% of the bitcoin and that company decides that bitcoin is not useful in the world)
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: 8000 Bitcoins seller on: June 04, 2019, 06:47:52 PM
Bitcoin does not increase crimes. Bitcoin is used by childrens having smartphones. Bitcoin is used by young people to buy everything they wanted, from everywhere in this world.  I was a very poor man until 10 years ago, I was living on 1 dollar/day , I had no freedom, I had no friends.
Now I can buy good food, I have freedom and I have many friends, and Bitcoin has made these possible.
