Is it a peer to peer instant transaction currency with no banking Fees? yes

p2pool normally takes longer to pay out shares than other pools. Read this wiki https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool#Payout_logic

In the US it maybe recognised as currency, but this is currently uncertain in the UK.  I will be following up with HMRC.  But refer to my UK VAT post:

Franky1: this is exactly what I thought when I wrote to HMRC, my aim was simply to get it in black and white so as not to get hit with it later.  But based on this letter from HMRC clearly there will be no certainty until there is some kind of legal precedent.  I plan to send them further correspondence on this subject and see what they have to say about themselves.  First I need to do more research and have lots of nice snippets from their own documentation.

So I recently (2 motnhs ago) got in touch with HMRC with regards to bitocin, they have sent me the following letter which seems to indicate that we need to be charging VAT on bitcoin transactions as they are treated more ike store vouchers than currency.

Would welcome peoples thoughts and opinions on this.

55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Intersango - Who can I complain to? on: December 21, 2012, 02:08:02 PM
Im not sure if there is much you can do here.  I used to trade a lot through Intersango then they started having their bank issues.  I think you best bet will be get your IBAN code and send it to them.  This will allow international transfers you can find the IBAN on your online banking or if you don't have it just go into a branch and ask....

lol, Doesnt need to be managed by them, more a central repository which you can aggregate all your stats in a single place.  So such a system might work by having API into OTC WoT, forum recommendations, details of exchange trades.  Obviously this means there is a lot of information stored about you and it takes away somewhat from the anonymity of Bitcoins but hey at least it would be easy for traders to determine whether they want to trade.
