Why are the payout so slow by the way. I know it's designed to keep the site running longer, at the same time, I have a feeling many people think that just nothing's happening and get discouraged by that.

Guys you can clearly see how the sites operates because they don't shay away from it, it's about the most transparent doubler i've come across and they've always paid for the couple months the site existed (my own experience), you need to understand that this is gambling and the payout is not guaranteed, HOWEVER, since the recent relaunch they've got some major investors come in that chipped in 10btc only a few hours ago, which means everyone who invested since the beginning of this chain is getting paid without a doubt, and there's spare 3 btc according to my calculation which will also get distributed according to place in queue (again, the balance is there already), baring some unforeseen problems that is. This is the best time to invest right now because you'll be the first to get the cash from the new pool.

it was one of the longest standing. I had money there too but made it back a while ago. This is really bad news though.

I'd like to ask you a question, what is the point of your large "warning" list, you could'nt have possibly tested all those sites, so you are just assuming based on very superficial data that they are in fact out to scam people. I understand the likelihood that a certain site, promising high returns, will turn out to be a scam - but then what's the point of maintaining a list, it's not like you have a list of trusted sites of this kind (let's call it: hype) because there aren't any. In fact I would bet a lot that you spend no more than 30 seconds evaluating a website to see if it checks your boxes and then it lands on your list, which is both unfair to the site owner as well as disingenuous as you're not actually doing any kind of honest investigation, I don't see you posting payment proofs (or lack there of), or anything else. Why not just say - if it's an investment site of any kind (that accepts bitcoin and promises high return), and is not a gamble site, is (according to you) a scam, and just leave it at that.

Yeah.. when they scam you, there won't be any logging in problems or anything of that sort. You just won't get your money, that's it.

My second investment is about to complete, im thinking if I should go for a third, this time the site reached the slow-down phase much quicker. Hard to say. First one took less than 12 hours and this one will complete after just about a day, I think.

site uses the exact scam method that many others do, and the return is not high enough to justify the extremely high risk. If you could get your money back in under 10 days, then we could talk.

Yes I think it would be a very simple solution (well, not VERY simple but doable) to put a moderator in place, that would make sure to only allow programs with at least a bit of transparency - and if it's clearly a ponzi, it would be mandatory to put a huge ass disclaimer, link to wiki and all that shit, that explains all the associated risks (this should just be in top of the section, in that warning message, clearly people don't think that it's enough).


Well here's where you're wrong. They are only about 80-95% scam. The rest are legit, or at least at first.. which is how you make money if you have some brains.

If it's a hard fact that 99% of projects posted here are scam, then the bitcointalk admins are clearly doing a disservice to the community by allowing for it, and should shut it down permanently. Of course, as I explained, I'm not of that opinion.

He told me in a private message people will gamble it against each other and that's how the system will reset. Seems legit. Sure, many people will be unhappy, but that's a good a solution as any I guess. I just want it to stay around (it was a better project than 90% like this).

It is true site's payouts are halted for now, as explained by admin, it seems like we will have to gamble it among ourselves (they are coming up with some kind of game as I understand). Which is much better than them just taking the money and saying see later.. you could argue it should have been said from the beginning - and I hear you, current situation was practically unavoidable, so there should have been a solution ready in place from the very beginning, as well as fair warning to every user that eventually, that last payout won't come through and site's rules are going to change at some point.

they're just trying to make the whole thing work, who cares about confirmations taking longer than usual, that's not a major problem at the moment. double spends are being resolved manually by the admin, at least mine has been..

he promised finding a solution and I trust him based on the work he did so far and the fairness towards all of us, I think this project will survive.
