There would be all sorts of retaliation if they could see who downvoted. i'm still invested in gaw...and so totally confused about hashcoin, but if i can sell all my HC's asap @ hopefully 20 I should hit ROI and maybe some profit  not holding my breath for it but would be nice...i still think its gona flop just like every other alt coin has/will |

Thanks . I think zencloud add extra fee to the price we decide to sell for. So they win twice : once by taking a fee on your sell , once by adding another fee to the sell price . Am I correct ? yes this has been known already...they take 10%....5% for each side |

well a post of mine was deleted..what a shocker...wasn't all neg either...this is why i hate HT and probably always will...you can't say anything neg about gaw w/o being censored, I even got a pm from josh saying be nice...and my post was...someone asked if there was an update on zenpool status, I replied "Nope, its already been forgotten about....its not hashcoin" and then even said on a positive note their customer support was getting better...woke up this morning and both comments were deleted lol...i restored mine and we'll see how long it stays up

I am sure Eleuthria can comment further, just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. I got one too. It seems everybody has doubts about GAW on how they can accomplish what they promised. I have my doubts too. I have invested some in them from the very early days when the war machine was $6999. Now my question.
Why are there no doubts with the whales that are on the champions list? If this where a scam and with all the information floating around they must be reading bitcointalk reddit and other forums too. Why are they not dumping fast and hard with all the information that is floating around. Do they know something we don't? Or do they just don't care that they lose their investment?
My guess would be that most of the champions are gaw owned...except volder but he has insider info They have pretty much every angle locked down tight to instill only positive for gaw...kinda smart thou |

Just had an e-mail from GAW explaining that they will be charging maintenance fee for Double Dipping on the second pool. Requires more hardware apparently... Not so prime eh?

Oh FFS... thanks for the heads up, I found that e-mail in my spam folder. Of course it didn't say if it's going to be the full 0.08 USD or half. And it sounds like all DD/Boost clicks in the future will have maintenance fees even if you don't use HashPool. A step forward (well, more like sideways), two steps back. I guess it's a good thing HT is down, allows the users to absorb the news in solitude... Update:
After the payout round finished for today, some users seemed to have been confused about how the HashPool was paid out.
Since the HashPool was released with only 19 hours (instead of a full 24hrs) remaining in the current payout round, it is likely that the payout for the current period would have seemed low, when in fact the payout was correct considering the software release time. This explanation should answer a few questions that users may be having about HashPool specific payouts.
In addition, we have also recognized that since the beginning of Hashlet Prime Amps we have not charged a maintenance fee for Double Dipping or Boosting. So currently if a user enables a second pool (Double Dipping) for a Prime Hashlet, there is no maintenance fee charged when mining the second pool. Since this upgrade requires extra hashing power (additional hardware) we will be introducing the maintenance fee into the second pool and boosting upgrade.
I hope this helps provide clarity to existing questions as well as communicate clearly our plans for the immediate future in regards to payouts IRC still up...and its hostile in here lol |

Since we now have about a month until Hashbase and probably a few weeks until VB deadline, I think I'm going to update the OP to reflect the current status of things, just waiting now for crickets to stop here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=827552dyask, I'm not so sure we know yet how ZenPool works, nor is that the only unanswered question. The "private rental" doesn't explain much, does it? It still leaves the question open as to which Scrypt coin(s) the hashrate is targeting, or if it ever was Scrypt to begin with. The main problem with this uncertainty is not the geeky desire to know what makes it tick, but how to make an informed decision. For example investing in SHA256 mining has one big unknown variable (difficulty), everything else is usually known - initial cost, maintenance, etc. With Zen and hashlets in general it's not so simple because the big variable seems to be not a technical one like difficulty but rather some undefined business strategy. There was a thread from Dr. Paul that listed other things related to how ZenPool works on HT. However renting out a large chuck of hash power clearly could make up the difference seen in payouts. Even when the ZenPool was up over .0006 BTC/MHS there was a lot of variation. Your concern seems to be you can't track it. The problem is that is something you'll never be able to track. If your hold up is you don't know GAW's business strategy, that is something you can't hope to get resolved. At this point it is pretty clear that ZenPool is real, albeit complex. The relationship between how much hashing has been sold vs how much actually exists isn't clear, but logically they can't have less hashing power than sold for very long periods of time if the business is valid. No way to easily address that issue. However it appears that GAW is really in this for the long run so that is a big plus. A lot of cloud hashing sites are very fuzzy compared to the GAW stuff. I have to disagree with you on that part...gaw is just as fuzzy as the rest of them...and when they do tell ya something...ya can almost bet the farm that in a few days that'll change...and probably a few days after it'll change back or to something totally different again |

If they have MORE data centers it is actually even better. but just remember, just cause he says 12 dc's doesn't mean that its true...i could say i have 12 dc's too, doesn't mean jack w/o proof...a few pictures from 3 dc's doesn't mean they have more...but its all about what you believe or who should you believe...everything in here is speculation...can go either which way...also about how much risk your willing to take...everything is all tied together somehow or another...read as much as ya can about the topic, and then make your own informed choice of what to do P.S.
