GUESS THE JACKPOT!!!

DiceCo.in doubles the Jackpot for you!
Guess the winning value of our first Minor Jackpot and win the Jackpot also!

Requirements:
- post an integer value (e.g. 399; Not 399,8787)
- 1 post per user // NO EDIT POST ALLOWED!!!
- Wager at least 2 bits on the website (PS. You can use the faucet to do that!)

The first to guess the jackpot value will win the jackpot amount.
If there's no correct answer,  the first who is nearest the value will win it.
As you know, the Jackpots values are encrypted so the only way to get the value is to have a winner of it.
That's why the prize will be awarded after our first jackpot will be won!

With this we make public the current range for Minor Jackpot:
Starting point = 120 bits
Current value = 328 bits
Maximum value of jackpot = 400 bits

!!! So there only 72 values left.
Let the contest begin!!

After reviewing your feedbacks we decided to modify some things to solve your concerns about the Jackpots.
Quoted from our new FAQ section:

"When a new Jackpot is set, our server generates a random Hash Key (e.g. "MB58bNJogX") and random value for the Jackpot (e.g.  777). This value is the amount of bits to be won.
These two, the Hash Key and the Jackpot value are encrypted into a SHA256 Hash Code in the following form: "MB58bNJogX777".
The generated Hash Code for every Jackpot (Grand, Major and Minor) is shown in the Jackpot Box.
When a Jackpot is won you will find the jackpot value along the Hash Key and the Hash Code in the Jackpots Tab.
You can verify the authenticity of the Jackpot here:
http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator
After each increase of jackpot, the server compares the generated Hash Code of the new value with the
Jackpot Hash Code. When these two are the same, we have a winner.
In this way we assure that no one knows the Jackpot value and that no one can modify it."

We believe this setup of the Jackpot has some great benefits:
1. The certainty that the Jackpot will be won.
If we have a certain value, there is only a matter of time until we will have a winner.
The odds system approach gives you a much lower chance to win and it is possible to not have a winner for a very long time, unless the odds are controlled.
2. The Jackpot value cannot be seen or modified by the owners and trustworthy is very  important for us.

In the end we would like to thanks to all users who gave us a feedback. This is the only way to progress and maintain a high standard.

Here is the FAQ for all Jackpots! This contest has it's own rules. UP!

The design looks pretty good actually, but I would prefer it if the jackpot amount was just displayed as a BTC value like 0.987654 BTC.
Just my opinion though...

Thanks eternalgloom. We take your opinion into consideration.  Grin

Just wanted to chime in. I like this method more than the 1/x chance one. And the reason is simple: someone will hit these jackpots. A 1/1m chance could not get hit for 50m rolls. Or 16000 billion rolls. Or it could get hit 50x in 500 rolls. Instead, this method ensures that the JP is going to be hit, and within a subjectively short period of time in comparison.

This was also our idea when we started this project.  Grin

Sorry for this misunderstanding. I believe that the problem here is our lack of explanations, so I will try explain the concept again with examples to be clear for everyone.
First of all, there's no secret involved, no hide and seek game and our Jackpots are provably fair like all contents from Moneypot.

We didn't specify an odd for each jackpot, because there is no one.
It stays like that:
When we launched the website and started the jackpots, each one, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND received a random value.
THIS VALUE IS WHERE THE JACKPOT IS WON!!!
So if the value for the Grand Jackpot is 1.5 bitcoin, when this value is reached, the last bettor will win the jackpot.
EXAMPLE: if the jackpot stand at 1.49999999 and we bet and make it 1.5 bitcoin, we win the jackpot.
HOW THE JACKPOT GROWS?
Well it grows from wagered money. If there are more money wagered, it will grow faster.

And yes, if you wager more money you have more chances to win any of the jackpots because you reach more values.
For example: if you wager 1 bit you modify the jackpot from 100 to 100.0005. and have 5 values where you can win the jackpot: .0001, .0002 ...you get it.
But if you wager 1000 you grow it from 100 to 100.1, so you have 1000X more values where you can win the jackpot.
Truly said, you have 1000X chances to win it than by betting 1 bit.

The system is automated, and after a win and reset of the jackpot, the value is automatically stored in the database.

Thank very much. I hope this make sense. Good luck!

There are some clarifications that needs to be made.
In the following we will explain the concepts of our Jackpots.
Every jackpot has a fixed starting point.
The money is offered from our funds everytime a jackpot is won by a user and is reset to default value.
After that, the Jackpots are funded from wagered money.
Every time a bet is placed you will see the jackpots growing.
Right now, each jackpot is funded 10% from the fixed profit gained from moneypot.
So 30% in total.
From the rest of 70% we pay the starting values.
But these percentages aren't final and probably will grow in the near future.
Every jackpot has a random boilling point which is set at every start.
The user to place the last bet before the value is reached, regardless of bet value or bet result, will win the jackpot.
The jackpot will be instantly transferred to his bankroll.
Everyone using the website will see a pop-up everytime a jackpot is won with the winner and the prize.

Thanks ranlo! Smiley

I am missing one explanation and in case I missed it I apologize and please point me to it.

you offer 3 Jackpots but I did not see the odds to win each Jackpot. please explain us the odds to win those 3 Jackpots. I saw only that you mentioned a random boiling point whatever that might be. thank you and good luck

The jackpot will be won by the player who bet last before reach the boiling point.

sorry but I thought my question was very clear and understandable.

please let me try again. could you tell us the odds for each of the 3 jackpots? the answer should be
1 in xxxxxxx to win jackpot 1
1 in xxxxxxx to win jackpot 2
1 in xxxxxxx to win jackpot 3

or is it a secret? if yes why should a player try to win a bet that maybe has no chance at all? I am not saying that you are cheating. moneypot games are provably fair but is this jackpot prize provably fair?

ranlo just answer to your question.
