Will complete the transaction as soon as you reply by email with a refund address.
You deposited less than the minimum amount (0.01 btc), as is clearly stated in the mixer rules/faq.
This is the reason your mix was not processed.
BitCloak service is running since 2016 and processed thousands of bitcoins, is very silly to think is scamming 40$.
It would be appreciated if you remove this accusation post.

Are people still having luck with this mixer? I sent $40 worth of BTC to it on Monday and it has yet to acknowledge or send my BTC to the address I gave it. Also, the mixer ID now shows invalid when I try to check status (it showed valid but waiting for deposits before that).
I should note that I did attempt to contact their support by both methods (email and jabber) and have gotten no response.

Confirmed the BTC hit the address given to me (I also confirmed via their key that it was the legit address and site). Continuing to use BitCloak for my occasional mixing needs, several times these past few weeks. I've never had a problem, both with the service itself and with my numerous interactions with the owner. Huge props for providing reliable diversity to the mixing scene, with new aspects mixed in.

Hello, I was taking a look at the mixer and found that this URL is not working https://bitcloak.ru/I didn't knew bitcloak was online since 2016, congrats. Pay anonymous is very interesting function, gonna try it soon. It was probably down/unavailable for maintenance based on your post time, sorry about that. Yes the service is running since early 2016, still growing strong. Good news which is very notable as this shows that development is progressing and
also the project is treating the customer as very important.
Im surprised there is not more activity on the thread though?

update:
I've just lowered the service fee maximum range,
using the mixing service is now slightly cheaper.
Fee will decrease even more as user base keeps growing,
also deposit transactions are now detected faster for both btc/bch.

Well, one of the added benefits of signature campaigns are that the members also gets introduced to the services and are also inclined to use the service. I always test services, before or just after joining the signature campaign and I can honestly say I enjoyed the experience. I thought Bitmixer.io was feature rich and user-friendly, but BitCloak is better.  Thank you for hosting the signature campaign. I think it ends today. Hope it gave your business the required exposure it needed, because I think we need competition in this scene. {For the other services that I will not mention in your ANN} Thanks for the great feedback, its a pleasure to see posts like yours. The anonymous payment option is incredible. I did not know about such a service. It worked much better than I expected, very fast. I will definitely begin to recommend this service. The possibility of anyone tracking what I do with my bitcoin always worried me, but I always find it very complicated to use the other mixers. Finally felt safe enough to use this service.

Thank you for the nice words. That same feature is available on the api and also for Bitcoin Cash. About safety: Full refunds are offered for all deposits under the minimum or to expired addresses. This mixer uses Tor-only communication with back ends, using Hidden Service Auth and other measures. Backend servers (bitcoind ones too) are not on clearnet, websites are hosted in a bullet proof way and everything was done anonymously from the start. Also there is no "client code/bit code" logic, its something many tumblers have that keeps track of the users coins everytime. To do that they must log extensively for long periods of time, its bad. This is the most user friendly Mixer  Do I will get any proof of my participation that prevents the mixing service keeping my bitcoins before the payout without compromising it's reputation? Hello and thanks, really appreciate that. On the order screen there is a pgp-signed message with the mixer key, it contains the mixer address and user address pair for the current order. ("get PGP proof" button). In the event of missing coins the user could post the pgp-proof publicly and anyone verify the signed message. If that mixer address received coins but the corresponding user address not it would be safe to blame the mixer service. Pgp-proof is helpful for more than that, on all phishing clones (there are a lot) the signed message is either invalid (modified) or contains a different address than the one shown on page. It also makes possible to delete all logs on expiration, as the user provides all needed proof to support. Could be also called proof of participation yes. I like the "Pay Anonymously" feature a lot. You do not have to use the same "method" to send payments to a merchant, so they cannot trace a pattern, if you re-using a specific Webwallet as your output or if you are using your hardware wallet as your output address. I heard that people can trace addresses coming from the same device, even if you do not re-use the addresses on that device.  Will exchanges be able to detect that the incoming funds are coming from a mixer service? I know using mixer services are against some of their ToS.  I am also in your signature campaign, so I hope your service will grow from strength to strength.. until you reach the level where Bitmixer.io was.. or even bigger than that. {Their Signature campaign was one of the longest signature campaigns that were hosted on this forum and I truly belief that it was the secret to their success.} Good luck. The api on the other hand was designed to be similar to what bitmixer.io used to offer in the past, with added features, more specifically with custom percentages for payouts. That api feature is the probably the main reason there are quite a few tumblers using BitCloak api under the hood (not owned by me, was notified/contacted by people from their dev teams). Will indeed keep improving the service, investing more in signatures/advertising to grow bigger. About exchanges: that is not possible, they are not able to see if a bitcoin transaction comes from BitCloak mixer as for them is indistinguishable from a normal transaction coming from your wallet. Hi Bitcloak, i wonder if you will use CoinJoin features once MuSig (Schnorr Multisig and signature aggregation) comes out since with proper CoinJoin (and it's upgrades) implementation and MuSig, the user could use your service with less trust required and could benefit both party Hi, thats a possibility yes, will check it in the future. I know that some ads can be annoying but this is no better. I did't see if it was announced that the site use a miner.
How can I trust to put my money in your service with such things? I see the project have some good reviews but, still.

Hi, tests were done on the escrow with different advertising solutions. Said ads are gone now. That warning from avast is a side effect from the technology used by the ads, its also one of the reasons they were removed. Mixer service is running since 2016, legit and used daily by lots of users. Great to see such a long-standing project that hasn't crumbled. Usually projects like this tend to last a few months and then vanish, I hope Bitcloak continues well into the future, and perhaps starts to add a few more cryptos, perhaps including an exchange option between cryptos also.

Sorry but what is your problem with those rules? if they are really seen as bad by many users and is reasonable to change them (increase minutes, definition of mega thread) I'd like to make everyone happy. Izanagi is a very good campaign manager, honest, responsive and with plenty of feedback so its kinda up to him to tune the signature campaign rules to better fit the needs/forum rules. Trying to be neutral here as I dont see any problem personally with those 2 requirements. Thanks everyone for what you are doing, the signature campaign will continue very soon. |

I like the website, the template looks pretty good with the outer space type of design to it since Bitcoin is kind of a futuristic thing.
The instructions for the mixer is pretty good as well, I think that most people would like it if they chose to use this via clear-net since it load fast. I haven’t tried the mixing service yet so I am wondering what people think about that feature on the website.

so good to see another service operator in the bitcoin coin mixing space? it's interesting you have asked for donoations to mix do there donations have to be in BTC or can they be in another currency?

Is the error actually "database corrupted"?
If so you could try backing up your wallet.dat file, wipe the bitcoin core files and let it sync again.
I'm not familiar with windows but when reinstalling you probably didnt wipe the %APPDATA% files.
The cause could be a very bad poweroff (like the power went down while bitcoin core was running) or
a faulty hard drive. Reindexing or simply wiping the various files (except wallet.dat ofc) should fix it.
At least thats what worked for me when it happened time ago.

Holding and buying small amounts you feel comfortable with sounds like a good plan to me, even better if you manage to slowly increase you stash of coins.
