41  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: April 16, 2016, 01:00:48 PM
Work hard, save some money, open a business, and work even more harder, and then maybe you'll get rich.

Work Hard and get good profits to save money. From the save money open a business which bring you good profits. Saying all this is very easy but  doing it practically is not so easy.

I agree it is really not easy to do it these days because of the competition out there and you have to have a large capital to open up a good business that can really bring you huge profit.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Method of gaining bitcoin from scratch on: April 16, 2016, 12:58:51 PM
Hey guys,

What are some methods of gaining bitcoin from scratch? Grin
Preferably not faucets

go to a website like Coinbase.com or Circle.com or even any of the bitcoin exchange sites then buy bitcoin with your money!

any other method requires you to have some sort of skills so look into yourself and choose something that works for you.

If you really have some skills then you can find a job that fits your category but if not then you can only do captcha typing it also gives satoshi for a certain volume you made.
43  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: April 16, 2016, 12:56:49 PM
Kids earning bitcoins?
I would prefer they stay out and play some games in the sun, rather then spend their time in front of the computer earning satoshis.

Yeah, I too would just let my son go out and play..I won't obliged him to do such thing..Even if my son would insist...Too much exposure to computer is not healthy to kids...

If the kids always stay in front of computer to looking for bitcoin a day by day it will damage their eye earlier. Also potentially lose their childhood fun .

Kids these days always play with computer games its better that if they play some they also earn money and that could help them in times of crisis.

They should play games which they enjoy, not what will make you a few extra cents.
I am strongly against my kids spending time on faucets.

Faucet wont bring anything to kids i think theres a game were you need to kill aliens and that game gives satoshi for every alien that you have killed.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: April 16, 2016, 12:55:25 PM

There is only 1 thing to do.
Store them safely on a trezor or another offline device. This way you won't get 'robbed'
That is the best option indeed if you have lots of coins or a atleast in two figures. If you have only one or two coins like me,then go for paper wallet as trezor would be expensive

Trezor is really a great way to keep your bitcoins from unwanted withdrawals that might happen in an internet based wallet,my idle coins just sits on my wallet gaining value over time.

IMO you'd only need Trezor if you're holding like in the hundreds. Laminated paper wallets should serve the purpose otherwise.

i agree, i believe that buying trezor is for those who have thousands of dollars invested in bitcoin and want something cool to put their coins inside and it is a waste of money for the rest of us

It wouldnt be a waste of money if you really want to secure your bitcoin from others who are hacking bitcoins of other people.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if the bitcoin disappear ? on: April 16, 2016, 12:53:22 PM
how do you guys come up with these strange things that might happen?

do you watch a lot of scifi movies?

Well anything is possible to happen in the future so even in scifi movies we are close to having those.
If bitcoin disappear then a lot of people will be in huge lose of money and will have to secure them selves before that would happen.
46  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Registered Voter ka ba? on: April 15, 2016, 04:30:49 PM

Sobrang init siguro ngayon maging watcher. Haha.

47  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: April 15, 2016, 04:25:59 PM

48  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Btc price on: April 15, 2016, 04:22:56 PM

49  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: April 15, 2016, 04:11:45 PM

50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: April 15, 2016, 04:07:36 PM
I almost lost 1 bitcoin, I lost near the 0,8 bitcoin, I do not gamble a lot but when I do I do this for hours.
So that is why I lost this number of bitcoins, I now stopped for a while because I know its highly addicted.

You did a wise decision mate to stop gambling before it even gets you further and lose more money,i do lost sometimes but i only gamble to keep away my boredom and after a few minutes im off to gambling.
51  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: April 15, 2016, 03:54:45 PM

Ano yung house edge?

53  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pulitika on: April 15, 2016, 03:48:31 PM

Minsan mahirap ma decipher kung nagpapatawa sya dahil seryoso ang mukha. and besides, He is a man of action naman.

54  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you selling your bitcoins? on: April 15, 2016, 03:45:11 PM
Of course I will sell at the time of halving not before that as selling now is not profitable enough but if I hold for next couple of months then I can enjoy good and higher profits.

Be sure and be prepared, because at times of halving if the price goes very high exchange might shut as they get into bulk transaction as more users were planning to sell on halving.
That's true. Or else you will never get the opportunity to exhange it into higher price. So i hope that at the time of halving, you will get the first line to exchange your bitcoin.

will sell my bitcoins after halving, as the price might jump up after halving so expecting to earn some good profits, so will hold till then and sell when it crosses $500.

the problem is not when you sell them, the problem is identifying the new bottom to buy back without remaining behind

this is the hardest part, new peak is more easy to guess than the new bottom

Yes this is hard to guess on weather the price is the new bottom or not and this is the risk that we have to take when the halving is over because there will be a new set of bottom price for bitcoin.
55  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: April 15, 2016, 03:41:16 PM
In this topic: Everyone saying don't sell because the value is progressively going up.

I'm not saying that you should sell your Bitcoins, but do whatever is best for you. If you need the money or you think you're getting a good ROI, then sell to your heart's content. If you don't need the money or anything, then hold.

Its because they are waiting for the halving to come and we know that when there is a halving there will also be a drastic change in the price of bitcoin and halving is going to come soon thats why they are saying that dont sell your bitcoins now.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: April 15, 2016, 03:34:34 PM
I think the bitcoin will still reach this amount because of the upcoming events that are this year gonna be here.
the halving will let the price rise to the amount of 700 dollar or even more, I even think it will go to a higher amount(around the 1k).

The halving will definitely bring the price of bitcoin to $700 but i doubt that it will give us $1000 for a bitcoin price it might go down soon before it can reach 800.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you waiting for Halving??? on: April 15, 2016, 03:31:21 PM
might be yes but i don't know halving bad or good for bitcoin but i was heard that prices will increase after halving and i will glad for that if become true

You should believe that price will increase after the halving.. thinking about the supply of fresh coins being cut in half.. Basically it can't meet the normal demand so the tendency is for the price to increase..
waiting or not halving will be came soon and everybody expect the prices will increase or back to $1200 but i hope you will right after block halving the prices will increase because if the prices decrease after halving i think this year will be bored for bitcoin

That wont happen that the price of bitcoin will decrease after the halving if that happen then the whales are manipulating the price and they are getting ready for a big pump to happen.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: April 15, 2016, 03:20:01 PM
Maybe it can happen in next few years, there are a lot of development regarding to bitcoin and more and more shop accepting bitcoin as payment, but if you are talking about replacing the currency that wont happened

Yes, Bitcoins user every year increase and it will keep increase if many shops start accepting bitcoin for the payment. And if many people using bitcoin, i think bitcoin can replaces the money.

I also think it can replace the dollar but it would take a lot of years to achieve this, so its the question ho long it will cost the bitcoin to do this.
Plus it also depends on the halving this year and the increasing factor of stores and users.

Well bitcoin wont be replacing dollar because dollar is strong and bitcoin is dependent on dollar for its value even though bitcoin has a high value it is still not known to other people.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: April 15, 2016, 03:18:17 PM
I think I would be imposible but it can be a global currency. That you can you can use in any country

It has now become a global currency that you can use when ever you are in the world but bitcoin still have a few user in each country and it will take more time before we have more companies and users to use bitcoin.
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: April 15, 2016, 03:16:00 PM
If you are quiting than the chance will be high that you can be poor and that is because the value of Bitcoin is not possible to predict and that is the problem it is too risky.
Just have a daily job and have also some Bitcoin if you have a daily job than you will have always money for yourself and that is good.

There is really a high chance that you will get poor in bitcoin if you dont know how to invest the money that you get and there is a limited jobs to be offered in bitcoin and that is not enough for a monthly expenses.
