A quick update regarding your attempts on logos.  Right now we don't have access to the ICO money. Legally (escrow terms) we can get access to it after the first Lisk block was forged. Due to tax reasons however, we will only have access to it once we registered the Lisk entity as a non-profit organisation. This is a process which still takes several weeks. Once we have access to the money we will hire a reputable and excellent design agency to do a complete rebranding (logo, website, client, mobile client, media kit, design guidelines) with an even better UX than now. So this is being taken care of! We will come up with a new logo and design. Thank you for your concerns! Feel free to create a thread on our forum and do brainstorming there. So that the design agency can go there later and maybe get a few ideas. Thanks! Very good news! |

Yes, the team will likely rebrand the logo to look more professional. The sooner the better.

Exactly! The goal is also to spread awareness and I think reaching the chinese exchanges would be a tremendous step forward.

On my side, I contacted OKCoin and this is what they had to say:
"We are always on the lookout for new coins. However, adding a new coin is not to be taken lightly. As we are a large exchange, adding a new coin typically causes fluctuations in the coin price. We need to consider every coin carefully. And thank you for your attention"

I know it is the choice of the exchanges to list or not a certain coin but Lisk on BTER would be a bad publicity especially on the launch.

Lisk that just raised 14080 BTC + 80million XCR, which is about 15,636 BTC. That's almost HALF of the 31,531 BTC raised by Ethereum.
Given all the advantages that Lisk has over Ethereum, Lisk should be valued at least HALF of ETH's $12 value.
In other words, Lisk should be in the $5 to $6 range soon after it starts trading.

If the potential dumps below ICO value are systematically bought out from the weak hands the price could be maintained at least at ICO level. I am planning to buy those, should it happen.

I suggest to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks before have lisk on an exchange. If it hit an exchange too early probably we have that dump that all are talking.
But just think if lisk will be listed in 3 weeks, dev will have 21 days to promote lisk, to have eve more than few DAPPS working, crypto media will talk about it and so on. At that point when we have a coin with good promotion and ahead in development, I don't think people will dump so much, but rather we could have support and buy from who didn's buy the ico, and why not from who bought just a small amount during the ICO.
No, I want to get it listed immediately without any trading action, its pointless. Besides people expected that it will be launched tomorrow and now its getting delayed.. there's no delay! It was said 1 to 3 weeks! and I say I prefer to see il listed in 3 weeks not in 3 days. The point is a major marketing action and there's time to finish more dapps for who is working on them. You want them immediately to dump immediately? The old plan was end of March (i.e. 31st March). The new plan is soon after, depending on the situation how many people generated and validated their keys. Currently there are over 1000 people without a passphrase. Once the validator is deployed I will make a video and distribute this message to our users via email and our social channels. Is the validator planned for tonight as I understood? |

I don't get it why there is some much suspiscion on the 1000 BTC buy. It is not necessarily an ill intentioned move, it could also be a sign of support to the project. In this case, holding this amount of Lisks may prevent an hypotetic dumping were those Lisk in weak hands.

I noticed the FUD attempts have become less elaborated and more pathetic towards the end of the ICO than at the beginning. Less inspiration I guess....

I also agree that this logo isn't the best looking one. It looks like a game currency. I know it is a detail but it has its importance!

Unless you are acting selflessly, the Azure Microsoft announcement is not a good news for investors during the ICO. Bad timing but it certainly has a positive side nevertheless.
Azure Microsoft announcement is not a good news it is a great news. Without all that hype there were only some forum small fishes looking for a quick x2-x3 return. And nobody from them have any impact on a crypto world. They'd sell quick and sell low. That was the future of Lisk. But with this hype we have lots of very serious people invested in Lisk. It means that they're in Lisk for a loooong time, most likely for years. It means that we will see high trading volume, regular news reports in major media, dapp developers, buy walls etc. etc. Influential people will be pushing Lisk towards to multiply their investments. That is what falls in the positive side. But this announcement would have had a better impact for investors if it was announced after the ICO. |
