I think he's just asking where the REP markets are.  You got Gatecoin and BitShares so far

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 19, 2016, 05:29:45 AM
One question about the ICO.

Can I send BTC from an exchange like Coinbase or Poloniex and still be able to claim my waves tokens after the launch?

or do I need to be able to know my BTC private key and must send from BitcoinQT or blockchain wallet?

After the ICO is over tokens can be withdrawn from the ICO platform. If waves is already on exchanger you can send your waves to exchange to sell your waves.

So is that a "yes" you can send BTC to the ICO without knowing the private key you sent them from, or "no" you cannot send BTC to the ICO unless you know your private key otherwise, you will not be able to claim the waves tokens.

when I try to set my password it says that it must be 8 characters at least, and I'm at like 16 characters.  Something is wrong.  It don't like my 16 character password

How long after entering your email should you be receiving an email to buy Waves ICO?

I've tried entering 2 different emails into the ICO site, and nothing has happened for hours.

Is there another way to buy these before launch besides inputting your email into the ICO site, or should I just wait until after launch and the tokens hit the exchanges?
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL -- Which DAO for $2 million or less has the most moon potential -- POLL -- on: May 16, 2016, 03:50:03 PM
I love holding bags of gold!

OK so after adding the Decred DAO to out list our investment grew 50% in 48 hours.

Are there anymore cheap DAO's that are about to be discovered by the masses of diversified DAO investors?

I love instant 50% gains!  Thank you crypto DAO community! please keep  this thread rolling and the gold flowing!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL -- Which DAO for $2 million or less has the most moon potential -- POLL -- on: May 14, 2016, 04:29:22 PM
Peerplays DAO just announced like last week.  Are you a dev or something?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1462351.0

Yeah, so far it looks like the only DAO's that anyone is willing to talk about are the large cap ones.

So you mean to tell me that nobody else is building decentralized autonomous organizations anymore?

I bet that we just need to dig harder. I'm sure that there must be many more out there.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL [IOTA ]- ICO 2 -Do YOU want to buy IOTA at a reasonable price? OR BIG SCAM? on: May 14, 2016, 03:08:59 AM
lol, maybe satoshi will launch bitcoin all over again just to give YOU a chance!
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL -- Which DAO for $2 million or less has the most moon potential -- POLL -- on: May 14, 2016, 02:32:43 AM
Yeah, you can buy the DAO on the BTS DEX, so what?  It's a large cap company, and therefore, not part of this discussion, and neither is purchasing BTS.  This thread is about low cap DAO's only..  No hijacking please.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL -- Which DAO for $2 million or less has the most moon potential -- POLL -- on: May 14, 2016, 02:09:44 AM
The Slockit DAO is for sale on the BTS chain if thats what you mean:

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22441.0.html

But since  that DAO is priced over $2 million, it is not going to be part of my "small cap DAO portfolio"

We are talking about small caps here.  Someone brought up DECRED.

Are they a DAO?

They are a bit over $2 million market cap, but I'd consider them.  anybody know anything about what these guys are investing in?
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / POLL -- Which DAO for $2 million or less has the most moon potential -- POLL -- on: May 14, 2016, 12:24:12 AM
Some Decentralized Autonomous Organizations are cheaper to join than others.  After buying some large and mid caps, I'm down to the small cap part of my DAO investment portfolio, and am going with the Peerplays DAO which will be given to you for free if you already own the BitShares DAO:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z5EFFqhnOk#t=1m32s

For those who don't know, a DAO is just a crypto coin that pays its voting members profits from its business.

The Ethereum DAO is investing in the lock sharing industry and its profits go directly to the DAO owners.

The Peershares DAO is investing in the gaming industry and its profits go directly to the DAO owners.

The only other low budget DAO's I know of are MUSE, and Crypti.  What other DAO's am I leaving off the list?

Thanks in advance for the due diligence.

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ETH on Gemini becaue customers asked 4 it, what coin will they ask for next?POLL on: May 06, 2016, 10:41:18 PM
Next they will be asking for support for Ethereum based tokens - Augur, Maker, Digix, TheDao, etc. Five of the top 10 alt tokens are now based on the Ethereum network and all the new recent entrants are all Ethereum based tokens.

You are right, the DAO, jumped up the coinmarketcap pretty quickly ($30M), so I put that on the list for Gemini adoption consideration.  It's trading liquid on the BITSHARES DEX (not Ethererm), according to Coinmarketcap:

http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/

I highly doubt, that Gemini is going to adopt a sub $5 market cap coin for their exchange, however, which is why I believe that they will only accept a crypto with a high market cap that trades a high volume daily.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / ETH on Gemini becaue customers asked 4 it, what coin will they ask for next?POLL on: May 06, 2016, 05:02:30 PM
We all know that Gemini is adding Ethereum, and if we would have known last week, we all could have made a boatload:

http://www.coindesk.com/winklevoss-brothers-invest-ether-leading-launch/

"customers of the Gemini exchange began to ask for the asset to be added as an option, Winklevoss said"

"the brothers were attracted to what Tyler described as its distinguishing attributes. Namely, that it includes a Turing-complete computer language and that it can be used as fuel for performing different smart contract-related tasks."

So here I am again, appealing to the wisdom of the crowd and asking which coin will GEMINI CUSTOMERS (not you) demand to trade next (or threaten to trade elsewhere).

The Winklevoss kids are not stupid. They know that they need to keep their customers happy.  So if any of you here are customers, and watch the Gemini troll box, or whatever they have for complaining over there.  Please let me know which coins they are demanding the hardest!

I've gone through the trouble of adding the coins not only with the highest market caps in the world (from the coinmarketcap.com top 20 and recent completed ICO's that have already established a top 20 market cap), but have "ditinguishing attributes" such as those that "attracted" the Gemini owners to the coin in the first place.

Thank you for the valuable investment information.  I will follow the wisdom of the crowd, for their choice is the definition of mass adoption, and Gemini is following the wisdom of the crowd faster than Coinbase, and other exchanges that only trade 1 type of coin.

Since the crowd is dynamic, I have allowed you the ability to change your vote.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll - Which social media platform will launch a MVP sooner Synereo or STEEM ? on: April 30, 2016, 05:20:35 PM
Relax Pointdexter, AMP and STEEM are not about mining, they are about paying you cash money for posting shit.  They transfer the value add from mining to social media content upload.

Do I want to see AMP & STEEM both succeed?

Of course I do, I own both.  It shouldn't take a genius like yourself to point that out.  Why am I diversified?  Because I don't put all my eggs in one basket.  Nobody is stupid enough to do that.

Hey, now about talking about the topic, instead of hijacking,

Which did you vote for, and why?

So far, neither platform is operable.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: nxt - who knows more on: April 28, 2016, 10:38:52 PM
They have stepped into the race with Lisk's sidechain dapp system.

The race to see who will get the first mover advantage in the scalable programmable smart contract space

who will win?

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEEM inflation is like 10% a day ! way too high! on: April 22, 2016, 01:41:40 PM
for those who think I'm a STEEM shill, I've decided to back off buying, because check out this inflation.  See the 2 curves diverge.  Remember that this is only over the course of a few days. Miners are rapping this coin, as they say.

UP TO 20-60 STEEM PER BLOCK REWARDS RIGHT NOW !

wow

not to jack this post, but I locked my other steem post because it angered some people who were helping me choose the best of breed in different sectors.  Please return the favor and vote for this sector's first mover advantage potential winner:

OK, so STEEM will soon have the first mover advantage.  Thank you all for participating in my prediction market.  I will invest according to the wisdom of the crowd, because mass adoption is the greatest prize.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Poll - Which 2.0 sidechain Dapp platform will launch first: LISK or NXT 2.0 ? on: April 19, 2016, 04:09:46 PM
Looking for some forum input concerning who will take the first mover advantage in the 2.0 sidechaining Dapp platform market race.

From the look of things, it appears that NXT and LISK are the only contenders, and NXT might have an early lead:

NXT will have sidechains very soon, not ETH
Then is time to invest in NXT.   Wink

I'm building a diversified portfolio, and am looking for some inside info.  Any help would be appreciated.

So far the race to become the first Programmable Sidechain Dapp platform only has 2 horses:

1. NXT which according to mr001, will be launching "VERY soon"

and

2. LISK which gave some BS excuse about needing confirmation and then validation of its genesis block.  Who knows how many more times that people will have to log in to their ICO site and risk getting their password hacked before they decide to launch their Sidechain Dapplatform

Thanks for the help

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which social media platform will launch a MVP sooner Synereo or STEEM ? on: April 19, 2016, 03:10:23 AM
Yes, of course I know all about the Bitshare devs (I've done at least SOME DD).  They invented the smartcoin market, that never saw a black swan break the peg.  Bang, first mover advantage complete.  Who knows when or if another coin is going to allow its owners to sell assets they don't own (gold, silver, oil, etc) simply by locking up some crypto collateral on its blockchian.  But why reinvent the wheel, right. Like we need another smartcoin market.

So, now that team Bitshares has attained the first mover advantage in the smartcoin space, what's next?

Social Media cryptos can be mined by anybody, not just the miners, so who cares how much premine the devs have, when ANYBODY can get STEEM simply by PAYING (see the value now?) attention.  My attention costs MONEY, and Synereo and STEEM are going to show it to me.

So, the Bitshares team has a history of delivering functional DACs that stand the test of time, but the Synereo team looks pretty focussed too, however, they have never proven that they can launch a functional DAC.

But who will attain the first mover advantage?
