Damn!
Now it was my turn to loose the upper board =(
It doesn't light up the red led on the board =(
Tried to change control cables but didn't help.
Is this one doomed forever?

EDIT: Tried the IP report trick too...

Hey guys. So i have talked to this guys and they have said that they are sold out untill january, and if you want to get some devices out of the next shippment you have to make prepay for january. So that all the story, i can help with getting the device in Kiev and shipp it to where you need, if anyone is interested.

I'm interested too. In group (or any) buy. But somekind guarantee would be appeciated (escrow?). I'm from Europe (Slovenia) - do you have any experience with shipping outside from your state (customs etc...)?

+1

PM sent.

Hopefully there will be enough interest to get a genuine group buy going.

I really don't understand why more companies are not doing this kind of thing.  Thousands of miners are already in the DIY frame of mind and everyone already has the parts!

Nice  Smiley hope they get back to you.
Then we just have to make a shopping list  Grin

49  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hotmine X6 miner/upgrade kit review on: November 02, 2017, 10:43:23 PM
they replied that min. order of 10 units is needed to be shipped internationally, for one piece you must organise transport from Kiev - Ukraine (pick it up by yourself)

I've sent another email if it is possible to send one X6 via DHL

Ahaa.
I've tried to get hold of a X5 to try it out and then upgrade my other units too i have lying around.
Think thats why i did get a response...

Bitmain.com: Three Ways to Restore Factory Settings (R4/S9/T9)
https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/3957

I used the last option in the list, IP Reporter button restore.
Quote from: Bitmain
Usage: Please power off the miner, then hold down the IP Reporter and don’t release it. At the same time, please power on the miner.
Releasing the IP Reporter after 5 seconds, the machine will automatically restore factory settings.

My miner restored with firmware Aug. 9 2016 and autotune settings were gone.
I am now suddenly able to control frequency and custom fan settings.  Cheesy

Hi guys!
I tried this several times but my R4 wont go back to the old firmware =(
I have the latgest firmware on my R4 now: Antminer-R4-all-201704280718-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz

Does somebody have an older firmware without this autotune settings?

Cheers!

@HagssFIN
So you have to have the MicroSD card in the slot all the time? It doesn't install anything on the BBB?

Did anybody manage to order X5/X6 or contact the manufacturer lately?

I'm gonna try this week to place an order.

Hi guys!

I bought a secondhand S7 with bitmain PSU. Started it up and went to my computer to check the IP number and suddenly i started to spit out the fan blades and i turned it of immediately.
Log in on ebay and bought this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111969348021?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Rmoved the broken fan and noticed that fan blades had hit 2 heatsinks so they are loose now  Sad
Any tip what kind of glue or heatsink tape i shoild use?
Thanks
