41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: October 15, 2016, 08:55:41 AM
I don't think bitcoin has or will have any serious competition at least not at this time, ETH looks promising but plenty of issues and mostly rising because of the pump and dump strategies rather than serious use same for monero and the like, You can't use these coins mostly and can just exchange them for BTC so no serious advantage in having them other than to sell them at a better BTC price.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2016, 08:51:25 AM
In the world's I think few millions are using bitcoin . At the time many of the people who enjoy using it for easy transaction . Especially those who invest in gambling or betting game the bitcoin usually they use it for transactions. And I know it will increase more user of bitcoin. And to widen it's use even more.

The easiest way is unquestionably faucets, You don't need any skill and simple/easy to perform, The profit percentage is pretty low compared to the time you spend it in.. if you have skills like coding, designing, writing etc.. Then these would pay well.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple Pay vs Bitcoins on: October 15, 2016, 08:44:46 AM
Why do you include the confirmation? I think plenty of businesses might take no-confirmation transactions for small purchases particularly those occuring in real life "like the risk of someone buying using a stolen creditcard", Also BTC is a whole system and Apple pay is just a website and an app with a central authority.
45  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2016, 08:41:12 AM
I have BTC to hold and wait for a price improvement, Also to gamble a little bit so I do not have to put in my bank or credit card information. And of course the main reason why I use Bitcoin is to make some money back that I invested through day trading and buying altcoins.
46  Other / Off-topic / Re: use Bitcoin in daily life? on: October 15, 2016, 08:38:41 AM
The idea is nice and I don't think there is anything offering it like this "the only thing is peer to peer deals which are not even close to how automated this is", The main difficulty would be the execution since it would be relatively complicated to make and to use for the users as well.
47  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: October 15, 2016, 08:26:30 AM
I do not want to receive all my salary in Bitcoins or a big portion of it because there is not much that I can do worth them I can't pay my bills and other stuff with them therefore would need to exchange it. It would not make much sense to make them that way in my opinion.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: October 15, 2016, 08:19:55 AM
Open worldwide, it's very easy to conduct transactions like these online with no difficulty or problems like when using other wallets like PayPal.. it's also super-cheap if you compare it to bank wire or to PayPal interest profit as well.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people here don't really care about BTC? on: October 15, 2016, 08:11:41 AM
I do care about the profit and the price movement in a favorable direction but I do care about BTC to an extent at least, it's due to how good it's as a payment transfer system and how profitable it is to gain profit "you have to care about the goose laying golden eggs as much as you care about the eggs".
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: October 15, 2016, 08:04:18 AM
Bitcoin isn't a scam IMO and won't disappear, Everything is visible and we know how it works, I don't think there is a way it will disappear or close since there is no central authority or site running it, IMO it won't disappear or close anytime soon.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: October 15, 2016, 07:57:55 AM
Yes, No one can deny that bitcoin is sometimes being used for illegal activities, However the same is applied worldwide since any currency in the world is being used for anything, since this is the fault of the users and not the fault of the currency itself.
52  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: October 15, 2016, 07:51:23 AM
I think we will see bitcoin rising higher and more importantly getting more global attention and becoming more of an international payment system. For consumers and businesses and perhaps it can even grow out to be the main payment system.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: October 15, 2016, 07:45:19 AM
The idea can be easily achieved but the only thing stopping it is the practicality, You can easily get bitcoin through exchanges and even on peer to peer transactions, There is no specific advantage in having a physical shop offering to buy/sell bitcoins because you can do that easily online.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL discussion thread on: October 15, 2016, 07:36:05 AM
