Wallet stopped syncing. No connections to network...
did you read op ? you need to update wallet. I only downloaded wallet 2 days ago (lataest wallet is 9 days old). But just downloaded and installed again. Still no connection to network. The latest wallet is only 3 or 4 days old. If your wallet is 9 days old you have the wrong one. https://github.com/innovacoin/innova/releases/download/1.0.5/innova-qt.exeI downloaded wallet 2 days ago, the latest wallet is released 9 days ago. From github: Windows wallet @innovacoin innovacoin released this 9 days ago . But does not matter, for some reason it started syncing again.

Is there a slack or a discord for this coin? I have some troubles with the masternode, so discord or slack would be easier.
Ah de Stavros se!

Screw this, opened ports, made static ip, used different systems, different methods, forwarded ports, even made one system a DMZ host Just impossible to start node No other choice than to dump my coins
I have two nodes running without problems. Next time, ask for help. I asked here for help several times. Always the same answer, forward port, static ip, bla bla bla... I did all that and even a lot more (even had my system completely open, no protection at all. Always the same, invalid ip. Since everything else (wallets, masternodes, staking, mining) is working great for any other project the problem is with this coin.

Yes they are in the wallet after you set the masternode they appear in the masternode Tab
i think lazy boozer should help you further
I know 'one Ip for one masternode rule' or vps i dont know much further
That is correct, but only for the same coin You should be able to run as many nodes on system as you like, as long as it are different coins (is my understanding)

How ma ny masternodes do you have are they all from the same machine or different?
IF you did what you did i can't help you any further
we are waiting for Dev to produce detailed guide
I have 2 on another machine (tried that one first because i wanted all MN on the same one). The guide the dev posted, is it correct that the 1000 DES are in the wallet that is the masternode? My others are empty, funds are locked in another wallet (if i use that setup i can see the masternode in the masternode tab as missing but still can not start (invalid IP).

This does not work. At all. Not capable masternode: Can't detect valid external address. Please consider using the externalip configuration option if problem persists. Make sure to use IPv4 address only. I can not get mn to run, i tried everything possible, even used another guide from COLX to setup a mn (wich uses 2 wallets, one on a system holding the funds and one on another one that is empty and is the mn). That way i could see the MN in th MN tab but can not enable it, Wrong IP adress. Please post a better guide that actually works. Funny thing is, my MN from other coins work perfectly, no messing with the router needed... I had this problem One needs a Static Ip you can confirm this in the network options in the IPV4 settings you should have open Ports in your router And finally you need to inser the IPv4 adress Google "what my Ipv4 adress" and copy it in the Wallet conf I have static Ip, i forwarded port 9919 to all my machines, just in case, i even completely opened all ports on the router that is b4 my rigs. Nothing works do you have separate IP for every devices? I did exclusive open ports to the MN machine only I not sure if that matters Post how your Ip looks like please I have a seperate ip for every machine yes. I tried opening port to the mn machine only, did not work, opened on all machines, did not work, opened ALL ports did not work. Btw, i have no problems with my other masternodes. That worked from the start, no opnening ports or make ip static needed.

There is a option on Yobit to do a exclusive SWAP and the cost would be 0.50 BTC. I will contact Yobit and they can let me know the number of coins that they hold and do a SWAP there. That would mean that all coins in wallet will be worthless and the coins that are on Yobit would be swapped. This would result in a decrease of 1,000,000% of the total supply now.
What kind of a f*cked up idea is that? The people that have wallets running are investors to! As a matter of fact, it is us that keeps this coin running. So a swap with only what is on yobit now is completely out of the question.

So unclear this stuff. Looked on how it is done on PIVX but this is some heavy stuff. (...) Def not trying to be disrespectful but really need some more info. ;-)
COLX Masternode installation guide (summary)For security, you should create a hot/cold setup with TWO wallets: - One wallet for the masternode (24/7, so either a VPS or a server in your home). This will be the masternode. IT WILL CONTAIN NO FUNDS! - One wallet on your pc. THIS WILL CONTAIN THE FUNDS. You can use it to start the masternode server and then close this wallet. First install the masternode wallet. - It must use the default port: 51572 (and ususally 51573 for RPC); - Write down the IP address, you'll need it later; - Open ports, NAT, firewall if you need to; - Start it. On linux: colxd --deamon - Synchonize the blockchain. - Stop it to make adjustments later. On linux: colx-cli stop - The masternode wallet will stay empty at all times! Then install your PC wallet: - This is just a regular install of the wallet with a GUI - Synchonize the blockchain. Transfer the funds to your PC wallet: - Create a new receiving account (File, Receiving Addresses, New), call it 'Masternode 01' or whatever you like. - Transfer exactly 10,000,000 to that account (must be one 10,000,000 payment, not mulitple small amounts). Check your payment: - In the console (Tools Menu, Debug Console), use 'masternode outputs'. - For valid 10,000,000 payments, it will give you a transaction_id and a transaction_index (usually 0 or 1). - Copy/paste these values to textfile, you will need them later. Create a unique number for your masternode: - In the console, use 'masternode genkey' - Save it to the textfile, you will need it later. Enter your masternode details in your PC wallet: - Click Tools, Open Masternode Configuration File (or open masternodes.conf) - On one line, enter: some name without spaces like MN01 (space) masternode IP:port (space) generated_key (space) transaction_id (space) transaction_index - Save the file and restart (I think) Configure your masternode wallet: edit ColossusCoinXT.conf: - Add masternode=1 - Add masternodeprivkey={the key you generated} - (re)start it. On linux: colx-cli stop / colxd --deamon - The debug.log should say that the masternode is waiting to be started (from the PC wallet). Activate the masternode from your PC wallet: - Go to page 'Masternodes' - Click 'update status' to see - Use any of the start buttons to register the masternode with the network. - IF IT COMPLAINS ABOUT TXID: Use the console instead: 'masternode start-alias MN01' Check your masternode wallet: - The debug.log should say 'Enabled!'. - It will start Pinging the masternode system to keep its registration alive. YOU CAN NOW CLOSE THE PC WALLET! - If you open it, your masternode payments will appear (after block 10.080). Good Guide Thanks a lot! >monaw< Here it is.

anyone with a working windows mn ? I would simply know if its possible at all to get it running on Windows or ill simply give up.
Even staking stopped on my End. + This "how to" above doesnt do anything here.
there have been multiple people who have figured it out. You should ask for help from the slack before writing it off. Yeah on Linux maybe. Fuck this she said he said storys. Not joining slack and listen to more bs. The Wallet wasnt syncing up before and now the staking doesnt work. And ive done a lot of MNs before, this one has some issues, atleast for the windows release. Fix your shitcoin for the average joe or watch it going down. I think that it simply takes 7 days every single time to mature again when it has staked cause it recombines. Imo has nothing to do with setting up a pw or anything. Just because of frekking untested Parameters. Proof me wrong. I got one running on windows. I used the how to from some pages back. If you follow those correctly it is a 10 to 15 minute job. Have no issues at all since then.

one day we will look back n laugh. take it easy bois i am sure we will. But can not help to find it funny. Especially the remarks that are given whenever a problem occurs. Wich is actually happening with every single step of the proces so far. From launch date to the pos switch. ;-)

So here we are once again. Block chain is not moving 10124, there is no staking, and no word from the devs. Sigh. This concerns me greatly as an investor into this coin. All the promises and hype were broken and let downs. Is it too much to ask that the dev comes one here and tells us what the issue is? How long to get it fixed? I do not think these things should be just let go to fester and upset people who spent btc to buy this coin.
I dont know how these dev's think that the silence is a good thing? I saw someone who was going to invest alot of btc in this coin walk away. When they looked at the issues, and seen the no response from the dev, they simply said.. "This will go bad" and walked.. 20 BTC they had. Devs are you hearing this? Major investors do not want to touch this coin because of your lack of ability to simply let people know whats going on... That completly infuriates me...
Totally normal according to devs, everything is working just fine. Common thing on a POS coin they say lol. Maybe this is why this never happens to any POS coin. Ever. 10.331.250 COLX was mined more than 7 days ago (not counting the premine). So none of those are in wallets that are open?

Can't even say shit, COLX made me lose over 12 million CV2, had over 24 mil and swapped for 12 mil COLX. Am so mad right now...
You're joking trolling right? Fixed. Bet a lot of people feel that way. As i expected price went down enough to do a 1:1 swap if you sold all cv2 b4 the swap and bought colx instead (as i did). Did not expect the price to go down that low or i would have swapped 1:2 lol. And regarding the comment about the "goon" trying to make people panic sell at 1 sat, no need for anyone to try that, dev's doing an awesome job at making people do that. ;-) Lol funny you should say that I've been waiting to thank you for your trading tip. I've had buy orders filled at 2 sats and bought some more at 3, will chuck in some more when my BTC clears later this evening. I thought I was happy with my earlier CV2 buys but this is basically heaven. As for my "goon" comment you obviously haven't been watching the market very closely else you'd understand it. Anyway, overall thanks mate your advice earlier in the thread was excellent even if I didn't believe you to begin with. You are welcome. ;-) Been burned once b4 at a swap. Never again lol. :-D Still didn't sell my old coins though but yeah much happier I got some extremely low too! I have a question regarding the people that still need/want to swap. Was the swap not lasting 3 months?
Nova stated this: CV2 ColossusCoin2 markets are closing on 15. October, 2017. Delisting due to a full coin swap to a new ColossusCoin XT Blockchain, please swap your ColossusCoin2 CV2 to the new ColossusCoinXT COLX BlockChain
I can answer this one... So the swap will continue as announced and planned until 28th December 2017. CV2 trading markets however will close on the 15th October 2017. What this means is that there will be no more trading of CV2 on exchanges past this date. Any CV2 that people hold in their own personal wallets, or any CV2 they hold on exchanges will still be able to be swapped to COLX right up until 28th December 2017. The only thing you cannot do is continue to trade that CV2 on exchanges past 15th October 2017. Does this make sense? Sure does.
