41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 27, 2021, 07:34:43 PM
~
Personally, I am so pained with the outcome. I won't lie, I am disappointed with Joshua because I was rooting for him. Imagine what other fighters would think of him now. He was indestructible but not anymore. I pardoned his first defeat but this second defeat is too much for me to bear. He should just take some time-off the ring and maybe go someplace to an island and start training all over again. I am heartbroken.
You are not the only one as there are many that did not expect Joshua to loose the fight, but there were many that knew about the skills of Usyk and made huge amount of bets on him and we all know how he struggled against Ruiz in the first fight and the only reason he won the rematch was because Ruiz was not training properly for the rematch as he was enjoying his new found richness and popularity.
I do not think it is the only reason that Joshua won the rematch Joshua made the most of Ruiz coming in more out of shape then the 1st  fight and went with a more boxing style using his reach to keep the power shots of Ruiz away from him but because Ruiz could not move as much as he could in the 1st fight he could not get close enough to Joshua to hurt him but the times that he did Joshua looked worried. Joshua made good adjustments in that fight but the rematch with Usyk if there is one will be totally different Uysk is a fighter that keeps getting better in his career and he is not going to be out of shape and I think he will be better in the rematch then he was this time because he will be more composed and will know the weaknesses of Joshua more. Joshua needs to come into this rematch with everything on the line and fight like he used to before the Ruiz fight and try and knock Uysk out because he is never going to unbox or out point him.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: September 27, 2021, 07:30:11 PM
I went for this scoreline: Crystal Palace 2-1 Brighton and Hove Albion

17 minutes in to the game, the score is currently 0-0  Grin
I bet for a 2-0 Crystal Palace win because I thought Brighton would crumble under the pressure of going top of the league. They have not looked terrible but I think I can see the effects of playing a weaker team they are missing Bisouma. Palace are looking good they have the most possession and Brighton look to be struggling in the Midfield area in the game more than anything. lallana picking up a yellow card and struggling to track back. I am still confident in my prediction because atm Brighton do not look like scoring but Crystal Palace need to get on the score sheet before the half time otherwise I think Brighton will grow into the game and gain some confidence that they are lacking.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 【I am in China】About China 2021/09/24 FUD on: September 27, 2021, 07:15:56 PM
I do not care about China. Because they are always fud creators. They are like bi*ch. Because of them, some of my friends got a liquidation of their 30% portfolio. Actually, I always stay away from future trades. But my friends' trap me in this. Actually, China will do this again and again. That's why I don't want to talk about China. I am just aware of those people who believe in this type of fud. and making the market candle red. Why should we understand that bitcoin doesn't depend on any country, so why should we follow any countries' news that they approve it or ban it? Bitcoin is our currency and we are the controlers of it, but we are still trapped by this type of fud.
I care what China does because it is against the basic human rights that most of the western world has. The Chinese government control their citizens and prevent them from using legitimate services just because they do not agree with the ideology or see it as a threat to their way of governing its people. I think we should all care and stop labelling China as fud creators it is not the people of China that are creating the fud it is the government of China creating it to try and stop people using Bitcoin. We should not look negatively on the people of China because of the wrong doings of the government. Instead we should speak out against it and end the corruption that is plaguing the country. Bitcoin adoption in China helps your Bitcoin become more valuable and it is in your best interest to have every country allowing Bitcoin to be traded and exchanged.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin(Cryptocurrencies) is a social movement? on: September 27, 2021, 07:11:04 PM
Bitcoin could be said to be a social movement because it was invented to solve a problem with how people control their money but there is no central figure who is in charge of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is guided by the developers and the community. I do not think a social movement or a currency needs one person to be in charge of the direction of the project that is what is good about open source projects the community can take it and turn it into something that everyone agrees is the best choice. I not only think Bitcoin is a social movement as well as a currency I think Bitcoin has been a very successful social movement and has changed the lives and the way people think for the better for many people who have given it a chance. I say it is a matter of time before Bitcoin becomes something that is routinely used in countries instead of something that is called edgy technology by a lot of people atm.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 27, 2021, 07:07:54 PM
That was a great fight anyway. What I liked, that both fighters respected each other and there were not trash talk before the fight, and after the fight Joshua admitted, that Usyk was better that night. If I am not mistaken, they both unofficially agreed for a rematch.

I personally bet for Joshua victory in that fight Cry, but him surprisingly lost by unanimous points and had to be willing to lose the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight title belts and this became his second title loss after what happened in 2019, and In my opinion, Joshua performance in that fight didn't seem to be his best performance so far, because I saw Joshua's appearance in the previous fight looks very good, and I think Fury will be a comparable opponent for Ussyk for the next fight.

The Ruiz result really hurt Joshua you can see that he no longer wants to sit in front of his opponent and throw punches and instead tries to box more but he has never been a good boxer but a boxer that has very good knockout power. It is disappointing to see such a iconic figure take a big decline recently but it happens to the best and most legends of boxing pick up losses towards the end of their careers. I know Joshua is still young 31/32 but I do not see him having a long career he looks like he has lost that spark and did not talk to the media after the fight and went straight to his hotel.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 27, 2021, 07:05:24 PM
Brighton started the new season well, winning 4 of 5 games and scoring 12 points... By the way, last season they scored just 41 points, almost getting relegated from the Premier League! Crystal Palace, on the other hand, are no different from last season and are playing just as badly... Probably Brighton will be stronger than Crystal Palace tonight, although in my opinion they have the same level...
This season might be a bit different from previous seasons for Brighton as today they had a great day trying to get a chance to reach first place in the table if they win. It will be a tough match for both teams as Crystal Palace are playing at home so Brighton will really have to struggle to score first. Displace Liverpool from the top is a great thing for them, but winning is their main goal today.
Brighton have not got their full 1st team out on the field because they are missing Bisouma and a couple of other players. I think Crystal Palace are being underestimated and people are forgetting that they beat Tottenham recently convincingly. I would love to see Brighton go top of the league after a couple of games but I do not see them winning against this Crystal Palace team. The 1st 5 mins of the game has been dominated with Crystal Palace and they are already puttling a lot of pressure on Brighton. Brighton have had 1 good attack so far but did not look like scoring.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: September 27, 2021, 07:02:54 PM
I already can't wait to watch one of the most delightful games of the league this Sunday: Liverpool v Manchester City.

Liverpool are the leader with 14 points now but maybe Brighton can take the lead if they win their game against C. Palace today. Manchester City are following them one point behind. Manchester City have improved their morale a lot after dominating against Chelsea and winning the game. Liverpool also played really nice against Brentford but it still ended by a huge score like 3-3. Manchester City weren't able to defeat Liverpool since 2003 in the Premier League but this changed in the last season. Because Manchester City literally demolished Liverpool by 4-1. But I see a much stronger Liverpool in this season. I feel like Manchester City might have some problems on defeating them. I think that both teams will score but I'm not sure how the game would end.
There is a good game on now Crystal Palace vs Brighton. Brighton could go top of the league if they get 3 points from the game and Liverpool would drop down to 2nd. They are missing a lot of key players which I think might stop them from doing that though. Liverpool vs Manchester city usually means Manchester City winning and with them beating Chelsea recently I think their morale will be very high. Liverpool will be looking to revenge that 3-3 draw with Brentford on the weekend and hopefully they come out all guns blazing and we have a exciting game instead of the usual City win.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 26, 2021, 11:02:14 PM
Tottenham has lost 3games at the stretch and it all ended in 3:0's except today's match they managed to score a goal against Arsenal.
Yes, Tottenham performance is getting worse and I think they need to consider firing the coach. Defeated 1-3 against Arsenal is clear proof to indicate that the coach cannot manage Tottenham players in a good way. I assume, Tottenham shouldn't experience this bad performance if the coach can motivate the players and choose the right strategy. They must fire the coach and stop the losses.

Nunes has to go by their next game but I think that the Arsenal manager should be fired to. He is looking good atm to fans because they beat their rivals convincingly but Arsenal under him have not looked great and I think they both need to change managers if they are to challenge for European positions. I think that Arsenal have the better chance because of the Harry Kane situation with Tottenham appearing to effect the other players in the team. I do not understand why Arsenal or Tottenham hired managers that are not proven at top teams. Nunes did good with Wolves but managing Wolves and then moving onto a european team is a big leap and there is no surprise that he is now struggling with the pressure.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 26, 2021, 10:26:32 PM
According to some rumours, Chelsea are planning to sell N'Golo Kanté in the next summer transfer window. If this is true, then I must admit that I'm really surprised by this news. Because everyone should be already aware of something that Kanté has been one of the most important players for Chelsea. He is the mainstay of Chelsea's midfield. And he just never gets tired in the game. He is one of the most stable and robust players I have ever seen. And he is still 30 years old which means that he is not that old too. If I were Tuchel, I would never think of selling Kanté this soon.
There is no way in hell that these rumors would be circulating now when Kante is one of the best players in Chelsea and is one of the players that is key to Chelsea's success. He has a couple of years remaining on his contract and no one would be able to afford him and I do not see why they would sell a player that is one of their most important players. This was proven the other day when Chelsea were struggling against Arsenal and they bring Kante on and he changes the game and they instantly score 2 goals. I think the rumors that you heard are probably from clickbait tabloids which are trying to generate clicks and are faking rumors to do that.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 26, 2021, 10:03:07 PM
I really loved the fact that the teams looked actually similar in level. I know that Chelsea has been great recently and they have won UCL and all that, so it should not come off as a shock that they were close to City in talent, after all they are the most recent UCL winners.

However looking at previous seasons, City dominated the premier league and even won this game as well (a bit lucky goal if you ask me) so it was a bit expected from City to dominate this game as well, or at least I expected that. However it wasn't like that, Tuchel's Chelsea is a lot different than any other Chelsea we have seen for the past few years, they are really playing a lot better. I assume that they will keep on being good for a while longer, but for just one this game, they ended up being the losers, even though they were looking good.
Chelsea have one of the biggest spends in Premier League history and Manchester City to they should be the top teams in the league and Manchester City without a striker like Aguero are not the same threat that they are with some one like him. I think if Manchester City did sign Harry Kane then Manchester City would be leading the pack without any losses already but they struggle to score goals without a striker. Liverpool are silently looking very good this season and are currently top of the table and have played some good teams. I think the most interesting game for me next weekend is Chelsea vs Brentford because if Brentford can steal a point or more from Chelsea that will further prove that Chelsea are a similar level to Liverpool.
51  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Two strong policies to save your being scam on: September 26, 2021, 09:58:48 PM
1. Nothing is free in the world, so don't expect anything for free.
It will be like pay $100, you will get $200 in return, that is a scam.
Anything that promises you that you will earn money on your investment is a scam. No one can promise you that you will earn on your investment otherwise the whole world would be doing it. There is no guarantees in life and the sooner that people realize that the sooner that they will be more secure handling their money. Bitcoin is an amazing technology which allows you to have complete control over your money but that is not always a good thing because a lot of people do not know basic security and have not got the experience of life to handle their money. I think banks are a good way of handling the money of these people who do not have the maturity to control their own money yet.

An exception could be made that if you want to inform your loved/trusted about your assets, so in case bad things happen your trusted one can have the possessions. The last thing is, you also need to have a spare key for it. Store it on any safest possibility method that exists.
As soon as you give away your seed or private key to a loved one you could be compromised. This is one of the issues with Bitcoin and there is no way of securely handing down your money to your family if anything was to happen without compromising the security of your Bitcoin by giving them your private key while you are still alive and using it.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: United state 🇺🇸 take the lead in global Bitcoin adoption 2021 on: September 26, 2021, 09:52:59 PM
You should have posted a link to back your claim, like this one for an example:

The US leads countries ready for widespread crypto adoption

Not that USA is leading global bitcoin adoption, but it's more likely USA will lead global bitcoin adoption due to some factors observed by specialists, like the one you mentioned about they having more ATMs per citizen than another countries. Another factor is that bitcoin uptake by americans is above average when compared to another countries. And of course, they have decent internet connection probably disponible for its whole territory, what makes the process of dealing with bitcoin a lot easier.
This is not proof this is speculation by specialists instead of data that we can verify. They have made a fancy graph without backing up their claims and providing the article that you gave has not solidified the claims any more than the OP was claiming. I want to see actual data and how they conducted the survey to get these results. I am not claiming that the US is not leading the race but I have my doubts in the survey that is in chart form here because I would expect other major countries to be higher on the list. The USA being a large country is going to be one of the highest and because the US does not have the problems that the middle east have they will have better access to the internet etc and they will always be high on the list but I would expect China to be higher before the bans that were announced.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 26, 2021, 09:37:18 PM
I could see the excitement in Mikel Arteta and I guess today's match will be a remembrance to him. But to be sincere no one ever believed Arsenal would defeat Tottenham and even if it happened i was expecting 1:0 and the goal would even be by chance but the proved me wrong kudos to their team work

Gambling websites had Arsenal as favorites I bet on Tottenham to win at 3.00. Arsenal were at 2.40. The people who set the odds on the gambling websites saw this coming but I assumed this was because it was a home game for Arsenal and they expected that to help them. Maybe they were right but I think the way Arsenal played today was not only because they played at home but they finally had a team with no injuries and it looks like they all are now familiar with each other. Partey probably played his best game in a Arsenal shirt and Lacazette looked like a born again striker and was pressing from the 1st minute. Tottenham have a lot of work to do if they want to finish in the top half of the table and I think the best thing to do would be to fire their manager and try to sign Conte as their manager because he is currently unemployed.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 【I am in China】About China 2021/09/24 FUD on: September 26, 2021, 09:31:30 PM
a nations law cannot regulate/license its use legally until they first ban it and make it illegal

EG if alcohol prohibition did not happen to ban alcohol government could not then make alcohol licences to allow certain businesses to then operate as all businesses would still operate for free.

in short give it some time and china will start allowing licences
I think you might be right the Chinese government want to profit directly from people using Bitcoin. I think the safest option atm if you live in China would be to keep your Bitcoin safe and hold it until it becomes clearer in a couple of months whether China are going to license certain companies to trade in Bitcoin. I expect if they do allow licenses the tax on cryptocurrencies will be extremely high and will eat into the profit of any traders business but it would be better than what they are currently doing.

Nothing a foreign bank account, a VPN & an account on a European exchange can’t solve in all honesty.

Can Chinese people easily open foreign bank accounts? I thought China is really hard on controlling the flow of capital to prevent it fleeing from their country. Chances are, Chinese citizens will be getting caught while sending or receiving funds from foreign exchanges/bank accounts if their regulators have enough control, which I assume they do, knowing how totalitarian China is.
I think most banks will be on high alert of Chinese residents trying to open up bank accounts and then commit a crime using their new bank account to trade Bitcoin. I think it will be hard to open a account because you need to provide ID and when that ID says you live in China they will probably refuse your application.
55  Other / Meta / Re: What is the main reason you don't come to this website more often? on: September 26, 2021, 09:28:23 PM
One of the main reasons I'm not here is because I can have more interesting discussions on Twitter and other platforms. In the past, it was hard to talk to someone about Bitcoin outside of this forum or using my local language.

Also, the forum is static and has not made many changes, which makes it possible to make posts using the laptop only.

Sometimes, I browse using my phone but the posts are from my laptop.
How do you have more interesting discussions on Twitter? I find that Twitter and Reddit is the worse places to have good discussions because they are full of trolls and children who like to derail the discussion with memes and other low quality posts. Twitter with its restrictions on how many characters I find hard because you then have to make multiple tweets to fully elaborate on technical discussions. Then the moderation on Twitter is only the most serious of things and does not have a rule about keeping on topic. Reddit is better because they do have moderators which keep it on topic but I still find Reddit has to many children on the website to have a good discussion. Bitcoin might not be the perfect but I think it is still the best place to discuss about cryptocurrencies.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 26, 2021, 09:22:55 PM
As an Arsenal fan, I am so happy. We needed some wins to get some confidence and to beat a side like Spurs with 3 goals cushion at half certainly brings a lot of confidence. Spurs were sloppy and lazy today and are paying the price for it.

Job well done Gunners  Cheesy
positive trend and increasingly better performance for arsenal.
3 games with a win after the previous few games were a lot of criticism I think this is good enough for them, at least this can increase the confidence of the players to maintain their current performance.
On the other hand, for Spurs, it is quite the opposite, 3 consecutive defeats for Spurs have brought them to the current 11 standings. and this is further exacerbated by the mentality and front line of the Spurs now not as good as the previous season.
it's not impossible if things like this continue little by little the spurs will continue to be thrown far down the standings.

Yes Arsenal are back on track but not on title track  Cheesy we must appreciate this positive result it seems Mikel Arteta is really trying to answer the challenge
This is the 2nd day of the EPL with unexpected results I'm sure many people don't think that Arsenal can win easily.
As you said maybe it's related to moral burden Arsenal are confident with 2 wins in a row while Tottenham are down with the previous 2 defeats.
Arsenal proved today that they can challenge for European positions in the league I thought they looked very good in attack and for most of the game managed the attack of Tottenham fine. I think the biggest problem Arsenal have is Xhaka in the midfield he can be very good some days like today but then other times he can be a liability because he picks up suspensions because of his aggressive play or misses interceptions or tackles because he is to aggressive. If they can get some consistency out of him and he can cover the more defensive role in midfield that would allow Partey to have a more creative role which suits them best I think. Arsenal I see shooting up the table Tottenham on the other hand I think with the internal problems with Harry Kane that is weighing on the morale of the rest of the players and causing them to doubt the loyalty of the management and ownership of the team.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: September 26, 2021, 09:10:37 PM
I am not interested in a fight between Joshua and Fury because I see Usyk the same type of fighter as Fury but without the physical advantages and I think Fury would beat him in a similar way that Usyk beat Joshua. I think the real fight now is Usyk vs Fury because it is 2 boxers which have similar strengths and are not known for their knockout power. That is if Fury beats Wilder which who knows because Wilder only has to land one big punch and he can knockout any one in the division. I think Wilder vs Joshua would be fun because Joshua is not the best technically and Wilder has no skill technically but they are both big punchers.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 26, 2021, 09:07:06 PM
Usyk definitely dictated the tempo of the fight, no doubt about that. Joshua had no answer to Usyk yet he had all the tools win comfortably and this is something Joshua will struggle to get over when they meet for the re-match.

Joshua was stunned when Usyk started catching him hard in the first round and after that it seemed Joshua thought he could keep boxing like he did against Povetkin but Usyk is several classes above him. I think Joshua will struggle to win the re-match unless he changes his style and uses his huge frame to impose himself on Usyk.
Since the Ruiz and Joshua fight Joshua has looked hesitant to get into a punching match and instead when Usyk started to throw punches and look to trade a couple of them he backed out but that is not the most effective tactic. Joshua used to be good at these trading punches because he has big power in his punches and by stepping back he allows the better boxer technically to continue to dominate him. I do not see any way that Joshua wins in the rematch if there is going to be a rematch. Joshua did not speak to any media after the fight which I think is a breach contractually and I think his head is not in the best places right now. I do not see the rematch happening and if it does Usyk wins unless Joshua can get a lucky punch because it is obvious to me that Usyk was the better boxer.

On other hand after Kane saga of transfer is still hurting Tottenham they are going down very badly management need to think about this Nuno and Kane also need some good and positive talk about future because this is not good for their club.
Tottenham should have taken the 150 million that Manchester City offered and reinvested that in multiple players and they would be doing better. Now Kane is not putting in any effort and it would be best for the team if they put him on the bench. I know he is their best striker when he plays 100% committed but I do not think he is bothered since he was rejected the chance of signing for Manchester City. Instead the fans are starting to get tired of him not committing and there will be no way back for him in the team and Tottenham will be forced to sell him below that 150 million offered. They lost out big time by not letting him go.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC users actually care about privacy? on: September 20, 2021, 06:32:25 PM
If you are going to use a big exchange in the future then you will need KYC.  The only other way to get BTC will be on the black market.  Would that put you off?

My money is legal and I don't mind doing KYC. I believe there are few people who really care about KYC. If they want to be safe, they can wrap their Bitcoins and trade them on distributed platforms. That is legit and satisfies their trading needs.
This is annoying when people think that if you are avoiding KYC you are using your money illegally when that is not the case! I have a right to privacy and KYC breaches my privacy right as a person. I still declare my taxes like everyone else when using peer 2 peer exchanges I am not cheating the system in any way. I hate that people like me are branded being a criminal because we try to avoid KYC. KYC is not good and if you enjoy being exploited and having your data sold off then that is your choice but do not try to legitimatize your way of doing it and trying to make us sound like criminals.
