41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BitCoins without Transaction Fees! on: March 02, 2013, 04:39:32 PM
Think several of are struggling with these micro (or dust particles) of BTC transactions we receive form those freebee sites in to the original Bitcoin_QT client.

I do use delayed payments when i can. I also want to receive these dust pieces and then transfer them to my main wallet (a different client) without the dust being eaten up from tx fees, if they are going to be eaten up by fees there is no point in even collecting from sites that dont have delayed payments option.

(my idea of my set up i want to get these little freebees and then send them to my main wallet in bigger chunks to be stored or spent form the new main wallet) dont want my main wallet cluttered with all the dust transactions is why i want to do it this way.

therefore if there is no way to do this i want to know so i can stop collecting from no delayed payment sites.

if there is a way i want to know how cause i would rather not lose a source of free btc

Is there a limit to the number of offers a day I can complete? (like only 2/day or something?
No. There are some offers that take up to 24 hours to confirm.

I logged out and back in and still no credits, been over 8 hours or longer.

first 2 offers i completed i got credit for.
next 4 i did not (these 4 said withing minutes or within 20 minutes)

(i even allowed them to install all extra junk on my laptop in addition to the main download and install app) (along with any spyware/malware and trojans even that were included)

this is what i completed:
RealPlayer: Free Media Player    314 BitPoints Within Minutes      (got 315 points actually)
Play S.W.A.T Assault 2 !          418 BitPoints Within 20 Minutes  (got 418 points)
Mega Coupons                       214 Bitpoints Within 20 Minutes   (got nothing)
Download for free eMule!          314 Bitpoints Within 20 minutes   (got nothing)
GIMP - DO IT LIKE A PRO          314 Bitpoints Within Minutes       (got nothing)
Beadz Elite                             203 Bitpoints Within 20 Minutes   (got nothing)

Unless it was issue on CoidAd's end I don't expect to get my bitpoints as not CoinAd's fault.
CoinAd doesn't get paid i don't get paid. (i understand)

But if it is on the other sponsor's end(s) might want to investigate and if found that they are just scamming people (including coinad not getting paid) refuse to do business with them.
I just emailed OfferWall's about this.

Please send them the same info you gave me, here (inside the OfferWall at CoinAd.com):

sent message to offer wall with the details thanks. will update when i get answer/resolution

47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any way to have two bitcoin wallets on one machine? on: February 27, 2013, 04:16:26 AM
I have 3 wallets on 1 machine, 1 wallet is bitcoin_qt client, 1 wallet on Armory client, and 1 wallet on multibit wallet.
very simple just install all 3 clients and make a wallet for each.

You do realize you are commenting in a thread from 2011, right?

lol no i didn't (air head moment)

Been looking and trying to find details about min system requirements for the BFL Jalapeno. If anyone has info or can direct me to a link where i can read them, that would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance.

simple a basic laptop or computer to run it from and using usb. The basic you could use is a Raspberry Pi Smiley

so my APU A*-3870k processor (AMD) and Asus Motherboard (AM3+ board) and 120 ssd Harddrive and 8gb ram will be enough windows 7 64bit to run device and the software it comes with?

i am getting 'invalid address please try again' error even when i know 100% i got the letters right over and over, done it at least 20 -30 times

also a couple of time instead of invalid address i am getting error reaching server in the red box

i then did it wrong on purpose and then i get the "wrong security code, please try again" message

i went to other sites with recapitcha  on their sites and it is working there ( 2 other sites) went back to coinad and still not working.
Try to Log Out and log back in.

didnt think of that.....logged out, logged back in, and same error invalid address, please try again still Sad

didn't but but thanks for the idea
What's the address you're trying to use?

if you mean web address: https://coinad.com/

if you mean which bitcoin address it is : 17xBMwfSV4NJMNbEu2aLvKEUE6Xx6wW9ew

(i was using site for couple of days just fine, it just started doing this this morning when i woke up)
It seems to be working, and you successfully submitted that address 5 minutes ago.

You have 11 delayed payments (which 3 were made today)  and 2 already paid.

Thank you for whatever you did. 3 for today were probably from before i went to sleep last night (was awake late last night) i didnt wake up til after 9am EST (-5:00 UTC)

thanks again

55  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-02-23 cnet.com - Need Bitcoins? This ATM takes dollars and funds your accou on: February 24, 2013, 03:59:44 PM
Getting dollars out of an BTCATM would be pretty easy was for thieves to steal your bitcoins for easy cash.  If someone stole your phone or you lose your phone and they could access your bitcoin app, they could clean out your bitcoins up to what ever daily limit there may be on the BTCATM.

Doesnt make sense: If someone has your phone with bitcoin-app without pin they can clean out your complete balance with no limit and without the use of some bitcoin ATM by just sending the bitcoins to their wallet.

That is assuming the thief has a bitcoin wallet, most thieves i know dont want to go through all the trouble of going through a service to convert bitcoins to cash/dollars, it makes it super easy to quickly and anonymously make cash quick. Its not that they cant use another wallet like you stated, just super easy with a BTCATM....thieves them to be lazy and want the least amount of effort.

In bars since it doesn't pay out dollars for BTC, that is less dollars in the pocket of the drinker/customer to spend at the bar, so unless the bar accepts BTC, it will be a disincentive to the bar. Now if it were to go in reverse it would be an incentive for the bars to have in that case.

I think bars might be sold on the idea if presented the idea as a security benefit to accept bitcoins and have less dollars/cash on hand to rob, but still hard as the BTC box teller would have cash/dollars in it.

I think a better location would be at a Mall and all stores in mall accept bitcoins, a BTC mall, that would be awesome.
